RHONY Reunion Recap
My sister and I will be reviewing the RHONY reunion after all three parts have aired.
Bethenny getting married recap
From Monsters and Critics.
By: Krystin Rader/reality TV junkie.
In Bravo’s first spinoff of the “Real Housewives” franchise, we follow Bethenny Frankel on her journey into motherhood and marriage in “Bethenny, Getting Married?”
Bethenny is finally getting everything she has ever dreamed of: a booming career, a baby, and a loving relationship to boot.
The show begins with Bethenny walking in a star-studded charity fashion show during New York Fashion Week. Bethenny looks fabulous, flaunting her six-month pregnant belly with a surprisingly chipper attitude (at least in comparison to her Real Housewives persona).
Much like Bethenny’s personality, we see that her life is just as chaotic, abrupt, and scattered. She is constantly on the go and trying to accomplish a multitude of things at once.
First on the ‘to-do’ list is a search for a new intern to assist in her ever expanding empire. The criteria for the interns offer comedic
value on their own. At the top of the list is the applicant’s compatibility with dogs and babies. Oh, and a speciality in wedding planning won’t hurt.
Bethenny clearly doesn’t prescribe to the formal school of job interviewing. She rapid fires questions to the potential candidates, asking random questions from their food tastes to their feelings about “inappropriate behavior and lewd language.”
Finally, the standout candidate, Max, scores extra points for his background knowledge about Frankel and compatibility with Cookie, Frankel’s beloved furry companion.
Bethenny and Jason discuss future plans over dinner. Over the schizophrenic course of their conversation, the couple jumps topics from wedding size, the birth of their child, potential additional children, and Bethenny’s appointment with a ‘shrink’. Jason expresses his opinions regarding couples that go to counseling together, stating that “if you’re a couple and you need to go to counseling, it’s over.”
Bethenny visits her therapist for the first time in a preemptive move to handle her ever changing life. She admits to the challenges that she faces in balancing her career and personal life. We get a glimpse into Bethenny’s childhood as she describes the vast differences between the way she and Jason grew up.
We find out that Bethenny’s childhood is anything but ideal, having left her home for boarding school at the age of 14. She depicts her youth as being a veritable “circus” having been exposed to race tracks, gambling, drinking, and nightclubs from an early age.
Her therapist asks her to delve into the pain of her relationship with her father. She discusses her father’s early dismissal and rejection of her and attributing it to her inabilities to maintain an intimate relationship.
Bethenny and Jason’s personalities clash as they discuss the upcoming housewarming party. Jason, in true extrovert fashion, wants his long time friends to stay with them for the weekend of the housewarming party.
This is less than ideal for Bethenny who is clearly uncomfortable at dealing with large groups of people.
The couple quickly shifts gears and moves out of their argument as they choose their wedding bands. All seems to be well as they pick out bands that are true to form: Bethenny chooses a blingy, over-the-top band, while Jason chooses a solid, classic one.
As Bethenny and crew prepare for the housewarming party, Jason calls with news that his flight is delayed and he won't make it back in time. After a momentary panic, Bethenny rallies and goes on to host a fun party.
Even Real Housewife of New York, Alex McCord and her husband, Simon, make a cameo.
This first installment of "Bethenny, Getting Married?" is a promising addition to reality TV.

Sonja talks about her DUI and a toaster oven cookbook
Sonja talks to E!. And Fox News.
by Marc Malkin(E!)
Real Housewives of New York City's newest star Sonja Morgan may have recently been arrested for a DUI, but she's not telling her nine-year-old daughter about it just yet…
"She doesn't know about it," Morgan told me earlier today. "It's not something to discuss because nothing happened yet…It's a legal matter that I can't even really get into."
One thing she'll definitely talk to her daughter about? Toaster ovens.
Yes, toaster ovens.
"I'm working on a toaster oven cookbook with my daughter," Morgan revealed. "I've been using a toaster oven ever since my separation because it's just my daughter and I and maybe an au pair. I'm very busy trying to manage my house and daughter on my own so I said, 'I'm not going to do all this work and clean-up.'
"When you fire up that Viking you have to clean it after so we cook everything in a toaster oven," she continued. "It comes out gourmet!"
Morgan said she's not looking to get seriously involved with a new man anytime soon because she's not ready to commit. But that doesn't mean she doesn't get offers, including some suggestive fan mail!
"It was from a woman who said, 'Oh, I couldn't stop staring at your butt when you jumped on Kelly [Bensimon]," Morgan said. "She said, 'I'm totally straight, but my husband will give me a pass, if you know what I mean.'"

Luann talks to E about Bethenny and her romantic future.

Real Housewives of New York's Countess LuAnn de Lesseps first marriage didn't end happily ever after, but that doesn't mean she's ruling out another walk down the aisle to her current French beau Jacques Azoulay.
"You never know," she told me this morning while prepping to shoot an episode of The Dish for the Style network. "Never say never!"
We never thought we'd hear LuAnn giving props to fellow Housewife Bethenny Frankel, who called her "a snake" this season, but she gave the new mom's spinoff series her stamp of approval and even defended her rapid post-baby slimdown...
"People were saying that she's not setting a good example by losing so weight so quickly, but everyone's different," LuAnn told me.
"She was breastfeeding and I think that really helps to bring your shape back. And she didn't gain much weight to begin with so she didn't have that much to lose...except for the baby itself!"
The Countess also said she reached out to fellow castmate Sonja Morgan after her DUI.
"She's just trying to get past it," she explained. "The Hamptons is highly policed and that's why we love it, because it's safe. But if you just slightly roll through a stop sign, they'll pull you over...I think she's used to New York and you don't have to drive in New York."
As for whether the Countess will be back for another season, she says she's open to it but hasn't been asked yet.
In the meantime, she's working on a second single called "Chic C'est La Vie" and hoping to eventually record an album.
And she already knows which artist she'd love to collaborate with...
"It'd be fun to do something with [Lady] Gaga," she said. "The Lady and the Countess

Is Dina-RHONJ leaving?
Check out is article from People.

In the wake of an announcement by Bravo that one of the stars of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will be leaving the show for good, it’s looking more and more like that Housewife is Dina Manzo.
Manzo, an interior decorator and founder of the Project Ladybug charity, recently shared a scene with rival Danielle Staub on the show, saying, “I’m done with this.”
In another indicator, Manzo, 39, is booked for an interview on Monday night with Bravo’s Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, a talk show where the network’s reality stars often go to dish about recent on-air developments.
And while viewers have seen much less of Manzo this season, she’s also made it clear that she’s become increasingly uncomfortable with the attention — and the drama — that comes with being a Housewife.
“I don’t like drama. I’ve never had drama in my life. I grew up with a great family and very protected. So I’m not used to that,” she told PEOPLE at the start of season 2. “I never even had a fight with my girlfriends ever. It’s so not me to be confrontational. If I meet someone and they rub me the wrong way, I just don’t engage from there on in.”
In the first season, Manzo famously clashed with Staub, who accused her of revealing secrets of her embarrassing past. “I was pretty mortified,” Manzo said of the show’s explosive, table-flipping finale. “I was shaking. I don’t enjoy that at all.”
Manzo has also been the victim of threats since the show first aired. “I’m not pointing fingers but there definitely was some stuff that went on that was kind of freaky,” says Manzo, who received threatening notes and emails and had her mailbox vandalized. “I was spending all this money trying to get it traced and so I decided to put all the money into security instead and got cameras everywhere. I sound cool about it now only because it’s like Fort Knox at my house. Nobody’s getting anywhere.”
Despite the drama, Manzo said she has “no regrets” about appearing on Real Housewives. Not only has the exposure helped make Project Ladybug a national cancer charity, she feels a positive change in her life. “At the end of the day, I think it makes you a better person, more forgiving, more understanding,” she said. “But I don’t ever want to go back to that kind of situation again.”
If Manzo makes her exit on Monday’s show, it won’t come as a surprise for most PEOPLE.com readers, who overwhelmingly chose Dina as the Housewife they suspected would be leaving the show in a poll, with more than 55 percent saying she’d likely had enough.

Teresa's mansion up for sale, then pulled off the market
Article about Teresa's mansion.
By: Vicki Hyman/The Star-Ledger
Share UPDATE: The listing was pulled Friday morning, and Giudice tweets it's not for sale but doesn't address why it was on the market to begin with. A representative from Farmbrook Realty, which apparently had the listing, says, "I don't have anything to say about it."
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice is trying to unload her Towaco chateau for $3.99 million. Giudice and husband Joe filed for bankruptcy in October, claiming they owe more than $8 million, and though the papers made it appear they wanted to hold on their main house -- they agreed to sell two other, smaller homes they own -- it looks like that ain't happening.
The 10,000-square-foot house is set back from the road on 3.77 acres -- perfect for ATVing without a helmet, apparently -- and has six bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms (the master bath has a fireplace, Jacuzzi, and steam shower; it makes scrubbing off the schadenfreude that much easier), a three-car garage, game room, wine room (where Joe vints his own), maid quarters, and a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast bar, a separate breakfast room and a formal dining. (The more tables to flip, the merrier!)
"Privacy and tranquility reigns," according to the listing, which means the Giudices must have moved out already!
BRAVO'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice and her baby daughter Audriana. Among the Guidice's debts: nearly $12,000 to an in vitro fertilization clinic, even though Teresa asked husband Joe to get a vasectomy in a recent episode.

LA Times RHONY part 1 recap/review
Good recap/review of the RHONY part 1 reunion show.
By:Yvonne Villarreal
To the lady readers of this post: Cross your legs before proceeding.
A three-part reunion? Like, Bravo, are you serious? Should I be expecting a special appearance by jelly beans and lollipops, in which the camera will focus on the candied treats for minutes to kill time? There is no reason -- NONE -- for a three-part special. I can barely tolerate the two-part specials that have become the norm. At this point, I'm waiting for Bravo to start making these things into movies with random trips to Abu Dhabi. Wait. Has that been done? Don't get me wrong. I most certainly enjoyed Part One of the gathering. But I would have LOVED it had it been an hour of every amazingly awesome moment from the three parts crammed into one. I’m an addict, I know.
But there is no thinking. There is no breathing. I have a job to do.
So let's break down it all down into satchels of gold:
-- We were again given the delightful replay of Alex's awesomely absurd statement heard 'round the world -- at least, in the parts that get Bravo: "While you are in high school, I am in Brooklyn." It never gets old.
-- In the midst of Alex trying to explain her new lease on meanness (or frankness), she also got a lesson on how to sit without her woohoo showing. And who would have thought that lesson would come from Kelly? The Department of Pants and Leggings hasn't provided her much protection this season.
-- When Alex politely snapped at LuAnn with, "Let me finish, dear," I was half expecting LuAnn to jump to her feet and break into an Auto-Tune-laced song with lyrics like, "'Dear' doesn't make you chic' or 'A lady says dahhhhling, my friend."
-- Two words: Turrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrtttle time. I'm not usually a fan of all the montages from the season. The episodes just aired. I don't need a reminder. But when it comes to the Ramona bits, I get pretty giddy with joy.
-- Another two words: Pronounced eyes. Thanks, Andy Cohen, for finding a polite way to describe Ramona's ogglers. That was pure bliss.
-- More from the Ramona Coaster. The pronounced-eyed Cameron Diaz wannabe explained that she regretted her harshness toward Bethenny on the Brooklyn Bridge: "If I had to erase one comment out of all my comments, that's the one." Kelly, of course, jumped in: "Oh really, not that I'm stupid?" Oh, Kelly, you must have been imagining doing cartwheels. Ramona was talking about things she regretted saying!
-- The major conflict this season has been the atrociously overplayed fight between ex-best friends Bethenny and Jill. It's still very much unresolved, but the only one who seems to care is Jill. The back-and-forth exchanges were excruciating to watch. And viewers got more back story to their division. Bethenny claimed that the main factor leading to the demise of their relationship was Jill allowing the "fame" go to her head, an accusation that Bethenny (whose spinoff show documenting her pregnancy and marriage premiered after the reunion special) also faced. Oh, and there was that little mention of Jill's apparent sabotage: She told the other Housewives not to film with Bethenny. Jealous much?
-- Did anyone else catch the chillingly terrifying look Kelly gave LuAnn after the songstress called her "a little rabbit in the woods"? It was as if Kelly had to calm herself down by imagining unprocessed gummy bears growing on vines.
-- An honorable mention to viewers for providing the best (most unnecessary) questions/statements: "Alex, what's with the hives?" and "Simon seems bloated this season." They were things I didn't even know I cared to know.
So ShowTrackers, what did you think of the first part of the reunion? Should there be three parts to this thing? Are you excited for Round Two? The drama continues as Kelly tells Ramona that her "blood type is Pinot Grigio" -- aw, she's trying to be witty! And Sonja makes an appearance! Until then, share your favorite moments from Part One of the special or from the season in the comments section.

Jill has a sex tape?
Article from E online about Jill maybe having a sex tape.
by Marc Malkin
You'd think after being reduced to tears and stomping off the set of the Real Housewives of New York City reunion last night, Jill Zarin would want nothing more to do with the show.
But no. She tells me there's still more Housewives left in her. However, she would like to see some changes…
"I think a lot of things have to be discussed," Zarin said.
Like what?
"If it's just about fighting and angry mean girls and that's all it is about, that's not who I am," she explained. "But Bravo hasn't asked me back yet, so I don't know what their plans are. So who knows?"
As you may have read, Zarin says she's been targeted by some rather hateful mail ever since the collapse of her and Bethenny Frankel's friendship became a highlight of the show.
She declined to go into details, but she said, "I will do what I am legally allowed to do to protect myself and my family. I've contacted the right authorities. The reason I went public with it is to tell people if someone is doing it to you, you need to stand up."
And of course, as with all reality television stars these days, I had to ask Zarin if she has a secret sex tape.
"Do I have my own personal library? No," she answered with a laugh, "but are there things possible in a vault that we own that are personal? Maybe."
She added, "A lot of people have hot videos of themselves that they don't want published. People who say they don't or wouldn't, I don't know if I believe them."

During an appearance on "The View" Thursday, Frankel said she could not be compared to the infamous reality show star because she has made "a real career" out of her time in the spotlight.
"I think she's an interesting example because she used [her time on a reality show] to be infamous," Frankel said of Manigault-Stallworth. "I have a real career. I have a brand, I have a very popular cocktail, I have two New York Times Bestsellers, I have my own show."
Angered by Frankel's comments, Omarosa came out swinging.
"The gloves are off," she told PerezHilton.com. "Bethenny's comments about me and my career on VIEW today were unprovoked anduncalled for. I have always been cool with Bethenny and we have never has any beef."
"Today she tried to act like her show was superior to my new show and her book was superior to my book or her career was superior," she continued. "I was surprised that she went there with me!! She got her start or the Apprentice just like me. She is on a NBC show just like I was. She is making a living in the world of reality just like me."
Omarosa not only claimed that Frankel's husband, Jason Hoppy, is gay, but she also accused the new mom of having a tummy tuck after giving birth in March.
"I have never once said a bad word about her or all of the rumor swirling around about Jason and his sexuality," Manigault-Stallworth said. "EVERYONE knows he's gay but we never said anything- because she was HAPPY."
She added, "When she got a tummy tuck with her c-section after the baby and pretended that she just LOST the baby weight NATURALLY - none of us said anything because she was happy."
Bethenny, 39, has insisted that she naturally lost 29-pounds only three weeks after giving birth to daughter Bryn on May 8.
"Bethenny needs a reality check!!" Manigault-Stallworth said. "Bethenny, Karma is a BITCH and so are you!!"

RHONY Reunion will be three parts
Andy's blog about the RHONY reunion, Bethenny Getting Married? and Iman.
Before I get to last night's fashion tornado, let us pause to reflect on the TV goodness that awaits us tonight after the sun sets over our oil-stained earth.
We have part 1 of the RHNYC reunion airing at 9 EST, followed by the premiere of Bethenny Getting Married? at 10, and then I'm live in the Clubhouse with Bethenny. I was pretty psyched when I saw the cover of today's NY Times Arts section to see a big photo of Bethenny next to a rave review for her show. This writer "gets" her, her show, and the appeal of the Housewives....
Some backstory about BGM?: We started talking to Bethenny about her own show last summer, and when we picked it up we thought it would be a docuseries following her dating life and career. Little did we know things with Jason would heat up to the point of an engagement, and that she would get pregnant. So the storyline of the show was fully dictated by her imminent wedding and birth, and it creates a dramatic timeline over nine weeks. She is funny, hard, and vulnerable all at once, and watching the show you understand exactly why she and Jason are so deeply in love. They are fun to watch. I think you'll love this show!
In other big news, we are making the RHNYC Reunion THREE WHOPPING PARTS and Watch What Happens Live is hopping over to Mondays starting next week. So Part 2 of the reunion will air Monday night at 9 EST before RHNJ, and then I will be live in the Clubhouse with Ramona and Dina. Next Thursday at 9 EST, it's Part 3 followed by a brand new episode of Bethenny and then I am live in the Clubhouse to say goodbye (for now) to Thursdays with the first lady of Bravo, Kathy Griffin. I am beyond the beyond about KG joining me in the clubhouse.
I am also very psyched that we're leaving very little of the reunion on the edit room floor. This was as compelling a show as we've done and (you) the audience is as engaged as ever, so we want to deliver it all.
Last night was a dinner at Indochine (the restaurant that never goes out of fashion) celebrating Iman's Icon Award at the CFDA. Iman, as you know, is going to be hosting Season 2 of The Fashion Show with Isaac Mizrahi. We are so excited — and awed — that this beauty is joining our Bravo family. The event was walltowall fashion and I was sitting with Harper's Bazaar Editor Glenda Bailey with Laura Brown and Miss Rachel Zoe. It was very Bravo.
It is seemingly impossible — based on the 10 times we've met — to catch Iman looking less than 1000% gorgeous. She is a stunning icon. (Sorry to repeat myself about how hot Iman is but I kinda can't get over it.) Rachel was in great form and decked out in super-inexpensive accessories from her QVC line. I wanted to buy all her jewelry right off her body, but she didn't seem into that idea. Tyson Beckford was there in jeans and a tux shirt looking exceptional. He and I discussed Ronnie (Make Me a Supermodel) Kroell's full frontal spread in PLAYGIRL, and agreed that we were happy and proud for him. Our little Ronnie is all growed up!

Bethenny interview with TWOP
Below is Bethenny's interview with the TELEFILE-TWOP(television without pity).

Bethenny Frankel's Real Housewives of New York spin-off Bethenny Getting Married? begins tonight (with the goddamn stupidest question mark in the history of television), and while I'm on the fence as to whether it will be awesome or unforgivably boring, I do know that the media call Bethenny participated in to promote the show ended up being all about how Jill Zarin is the devil and how Kelly Bensimon is the mayor of crazytown, which is definitely awesome. I mean, I only posted like a tenth of it, because it got pretty redundant. Read on for the gloriously catty highlights.
The show seems more light-hearted than Real Housewives. Was that intentional?
Bethenny Frankel: Housewives -- how do I explain it? It doesn't really show me in my true light. I mean you see bits and pieces of me, and you can kind of get the sense of me. I'm not a woman that really hangs out with a lot of women. I really focus mostly on work and, when I'm in a relationship, on my relationship. And so this kind of just gets more micro.
It really gets into the real details of my life. It's not like big blowouts at cocktail, or what do I call it, charity events. Like I'm not at charity events on Dynasty every day. I don't really go out that much. I'm pretty much home in my pajamas most of the time, unless I have to go somewhere for work. I do that once in a while, but it's not really the main course of my life, which this show kind of shows the nonsense in my life.
Are you integrating other Housewives into the show to make appearances? And will Jill appear on the show?
BF: It's only to the extent that what's really going on in my life. This isn't like anyone's being hired or it's an appearance. Jill is not on my show because Jill's not in my life.
Has Jill reached out to you at all during this time -- made an attempt?
BF: No. Not this recent time. I mean of course I saw her at the reunion, and there was that. And she has reached out a couple of times in the last couple of months. There have been a lot of changes on the show. The show has kind of showed everything. But, you know, she's not in my life anymore.
Might you be pulling out of Real Housewives to focus on the new show?
BF: I think it's not a cliché when I say I don't believe in staying at a party too long. And I just don't know what else there is to do there. If I had a lesser part in it and I just dipped in and dipped out once in a while, maybe.
What am I going to say -- what is there to say to Jill? There's nothing to say to Jill. I mean she had a nervous breakdown on my show. Like, I don't know what there is to say. I see Alex and Ramona on my show, which is really, really nice and pleasant.
So I don't know. The purpose I have on the Housewives is to comment, I feel like. Not because anyone tells me to, because it's who I am. So I guess if they still need my running commentary and I suppose the Greek chorus, perhaps I would do it. I just don't know. You're seeing my life here, so I don't know what I would be doing there.
On Twitter, Kelly and Dina have called you "scary" or "intimidating." What do you think of that?
BF: Well, I mean Kelly's got this whole nonsense bullying angle she's working right now, which is idiotic. She's a 41-year-old woman. So anything she says you can't really even listen to, because she's out of her mind and certifiable.
But Dina is really sweet. And Dina's a really nice girl that doesn't get into the fray. And she's not -- I mean she's Italian and her sister's a tough girl, but Dina is just like a really sweet, nice Jersey girl, so I could see her thinking I'm a little bit scary.
I mean I could be -- I grew up at the racetrack. I'm a little street, and I'm definitely a little rough around the edges and a scrapper, but I get it.
How come Bravo chose you for your own series and not Jill getting, you know, a hobby, or Kelly getting therapy? How come Bethenny Getting Married?
BF: First of all me getting married does involve other people. Kelly in therapy would involve a shrink and a padded room, so that might not be interesting for a whole hour. And Jill getting a hobby is probably going to take a little longer than by the time production would get up. So that said, I don't know why. I really don't. I guess, you know, they said they did focus groups to see what the viewer wants.
What were your thoughts on Jill announcing on Twitter the birth of your baby before anybody else did and inaccurately saying it was a boy?
BF: My honest reaction was she can't get out of her own way. And it wasn't like she had to pick the winner of the Kentucky Derby. All she had to do was go with a 50/50 guess and she still didn't get it right.
Feel free to trash Jill Zarin and/or nonsensical question marks in the comments. Oh, and if you like fighting, check out our ultimate Real Housewives cage match.

Bethenny talks to TV Guide
Here is an interview Bethenny did with TV Guide.
By DAMIAN HOLBROOK
She's a Real Housewife of New York, a best-selling author and the funniest foodie you'll ever meet. Now Bethenny Frankel has added wife, mother and star of her own show, Bethenny Getting Married? (premiering Thursday at 10/9c on Bravo) to the résumé, which means this cutup of a chef has a lot on her plate!
TV Guide Magazine: Why the question mark in the title? You did get married!
Frankel: I wasn't when we developed the show. And I've always struggled with relationships, so it's more like, "Is she really going to get married? Is there an eclipse? [Laughs] Is this the second coming?"
TV Guide Magazine: Did your new hubby, Jason Hoppy, know what he was getting into?
Frankel: I don't think so. [Laughs] He's like Ricky, and I'm his Lucy.
TV Guide Magazine: Congrats on one-month-old baby Bryn. How is she doing?
Frankel: Thank you! She is so cute and so tiny. She came five weeks early, and she's less than five pounds. She's a tiny little peanut.
TV Guide Magazine: Give us some scoop! What will we see on the show?
Frankel: My relationship, my being commitment-phobic and then having to plan this wedding while being pregnant and hormonal and trying to balance my business. It's really what's going on. I will never do anything that is not me.
TV Guide Magazine: Will you be recording a single anytime soon?
Frankel: It's funny, because I used to be in plays. I could sing. But no, at my age...no. [Laughs] I am coming from a place of no!

Danielle Staub's sex tape drama has "sickened" at least one of her co-stars on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" -- and now Jacqueline Laurita tells us she wants Staub off the reality show for good.
Jacqueline -- who used to be close with Staub -- tells us she's "not surprised at all" that Hustler Inc. claims they are all set to distribute a sex tape featuring the mother of two with a mystery man from September 2009.
She tells us, "I'd be very happy if [Staub] left our show ... Why doesn't she just leave and go do porn?"
Jacqueline adds, "Danielle has total disregard for how [the tape] will affect her daughters' impressionable years."
As we previously reported, Hustler plans to release the 75 minute tape next week.

Teresa comments on her bankruptcy
Teresa explains her bankruptcy.
By Vicki Hyman/The Star-Ledger
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice says she and and husband Joe are looking at their recently-uncovered bankruptcy filing as a "fresh start."
“While this is a personal matter, I realize that certain aspects of my private life will always be subject to scrutiny and distortion,” she tells People magazine. “What is true is that due to the economy, most of my husband’s real estate ventures failed despite his hard work and effort. As a result, we looked to the Bankruptcy Court for a ‘fresh start.’”
The bankruptcy papers list $8.7 million in liabilities, including $2.6 million in mortgages on their three homes, including the huge mansion in Towaco, and $6.1 owed to credit card companies, high-end department stores, and banks for Joe's real estate dealings, several of which are in East Orange.
As for the "scrutiny and distortion," It's true that the Giudices took out a huge mortgage for their Towaco mansion in September 2008, just as the real estate bubble burst, but it's kind of hard to overlook the profligate spending depicted on the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" so far this season, considering they had one foreclosure pending on a home they owned in Lincoln Park before they even started shooting the second season. Several other collection proceedings were instigated against the couple during filming of the second season.
“When people fall, the way to success is to get up and learn from our mistakes,” Giudice says. “We are in that process.”
Meanwhile, Dina Manzo, Giudice's pal and "Real Housewives" co-star, told zap2it.com the day the New York Post broke the news that she believes the bankruptcy reports are the work of a "hater."
"I think I would know if she was in that kind of trouble," Dina says. "And I think it's all kind of fabricated by a hater out there."

Catherine Ommanney-RHODC splits with hubby
Here is an article from The Reliable Source-Washington Post about one of the RHODC getting a divorce.
By: Roxanne Roberts & Amy Argetsinger
Real Housewives of D.C.'s Catherine Ommanney and husband Charles split, even before show airs.
Even before the series airs, one of "The Real Housewives of D.C." is on her way to becoming an ex-wife.
Catherine Ashley Ommanney, one of five local women that a TV crew tracked for several months over the past year, is expected to be announced soon as a cast member of the hit Bravo franchise's upcoming Beltway edition. And we've learned that she and her husband, veteran Newsweek photographer Charles Ommanney, have recently separated.
"There's no question that having a television crew in their home all those months was a huge strain," a friend of the couple told us.
Reality TV can be hard on relationships -- both LuAnn de Lesseps of "The Real Housewives of New York City" and Tamra Barney of the original "Real Housewives of Orange County" split with their husbands after the show catapulted them to fame.
When reality TV entered her life, Ommanney was both extremely new to her marriage and extremely new to Washington. Few in D.C. cocktail culture had heard of the blond, British mother of two when her name surfaced in connection with the show's taping last year. And it was only in the summer of 2008 that she wed the prizewinning photojournalist, after a brief courtship in England, and followed him to the States.
Sources close to the production have described Ommanney as well-liked by the rest of the cast, and by most indications she hasn't provided as much drama as, say, her White House-dinner-crashing co-star Michaele Salahi. (Bravo hasn't officialy unveiled the cast, but other presumed stars include McLean socialite and mom Mary Amons, D.C. real estate agent Stacie Turner and modeling agency owner Lynda Erkiletian.)
Yet, as we reported last month, Ommanney does have a flair for the sensational: In 2006, when she was known as Catherine Davies, Ommanney blabbed to a British tabloid about her brief make-out session with much-younger Prince Harry. And friends say she has a dishy memoir in the works.

Danielle has another sex tape

We already know that the past of Danielle Staub is littered with drugs, prostitution and arrest records.
But might it also be filled with multiple sex tapes?!?
In June 2009, this Real Housewife of New Jersey successfully used the legal system to block a video of her and ex-boyfriend Steve Zalewski getting it on. Raunchy case closed, right? Apparently not.
TMZ reports that Hustler Inc. has uncovered another 75-minute tape of the Garden State's most reviled reality star spreading her legs for mystery man. It was allegedly shot in September, months after the aforementioned case was settled.
It won't be long until we have confirmation of this tape's existence: it's scheduled to be released on June 14. That's in less than a week!
Speaking of Staub, Zalewski once said: "Not only does she want to have sex all the time, but she loves the thrill of doing it in public places, where she might get caught.
"She wanted to make love in restaurant bathrooms every time we went out - she'd get excited and say, 'The people can hear you doing it outside!'"
Soon, they may be seeing Danielle doing it inside. Yuck!

Details about Teresa's bankruptcy
Article from TV Watch-People about Teresa's financial woes.
By:Charlotte Triggs
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is breaking her silence after it was discovered that she and her husband Joe filed for bankruptcy.
“While this is a personal matter, I realize that certain aspects of my private life will always be subject to scrutiny and distortion,” Giudice says in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE. “What is true is that due to the economy, most of my husband’s real estate ventures failed despite his hard work and effort. As a result, we looked to the Bankruptcy Court for a ‘fresh start.’”
Indeed court papers filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Newark, N.J., show that Giudice, 38, and her husband filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which requires liquidation of assets in order to pay creditors, in October of last year.
Papers also show that the couple had to undergo credit counseling, and were awarded a temporary stay on payments for their Cadillac Escalade and mortgage payments for properties.
In the documents filed, the pair declared their personal assets, which include real property and personal property, as $2,261,150. But their liabilities — $8,709,831.34 — far exceeded that number.
In addition, the couple had to assess their monthly income. Combining Joe’s salary as owner of G&G Stucco and Stone Specialist in Clifton, N.J., with Teresa’s income from Bravo and “monthly assistance from family members,” that number totaled $16,583.33. Their expenditures, including their mortgage, food, clothing, dry cleaning, health insurance and other expenses, total $16,582.
The couple owes more than $33,000 on various store credit cards, $85,000 for home repairs and $91,000 for materials used to build their new home.
During the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Giudice, who famously flipped a table on the show, and her family moved into their $1.7 million mansion in Towaco, N.J. The reality star, who was often filmed treating her daughters to new clothing and expensive toys, was also depicted flashing stacks of cash while furnishing the house. And in a recent episode on the second season, she boasted of spending significant funds on her daughter Gia‘s spa birthday party.
“When people fall, the way to success is to get up and learn from our mistakes,” Giudice says. “We are in that process.”

That was last year, this year I got alot to say
The latest RHONJ starts with Theresa taking Gia for an audition in a Christian Slater film, same old stage mom crap. Theresa talks up all the other parents waiting at the audition. Danielle and Kim G. talk about Danny calling Christopher a faggot at the cancer event, Kim G. did not like that. Danielle was unapologetic for Danny's behavior and seemed put off. Kim G. runs into Jacqueline at the nail salon and Kim brings up Danielle. Jacqueline tells her that if she criticizes Danielle she will get a bad reaction. Kim G. has a party for Danielle's birthday and mentions Danny's slur again to Danielle. She starts to cry and moan about how the Manzo's would love to see this happen to her. Danielle is annoyed and it shows.
Ashley sends Danielle a text telling her off but not threatening her. Danielle tells Kim G., her new BFF how Ashley is threatening her. Danielle ponders about calling the police and getting a restraining order. Theresa and Jacqueline have lunch and Ashley threatening Danielle is brought up. Ashley comes to the lunch and tells her mom that she sent texts but is not going to hurt her. Jacqueline asks Ashley if she has a Facebook about hating Danielle, Ashley says yeah and Jacqueline tells her to take it down and stop it. Ashley tells her boyfriend about the lunch and he tells her to take the I hate Danielle Facebook stuff down. Ashley does not seem to care what anyone thinks about her Danielle hate.
Caroline and Albert have a big dinner party for family and friends. It looks like they put out a nice spread. Theresa and Joe are almost an 1 1/2 hr. late. Caroline seems aggravated because she has to hold dinner and it throws off her serving the dinner fresh. Once they arrive and everyone settles to eat Ashley brings up Danielle. Jacqueline did not tell Chris about what has happened. Ashley tells everyone that Danielle said her arms were fat. Ashley calls Danielle square tit and something else. Dina was not at the dinner, she meet Danielle instead. Danielle has Danny waiting in the parking lot, she thinks Dina may ambush her. When Dina arrives she does not want a drink because she is not planning on staying long. Dina tells Danielle she is done and wants nothing to do with her. Danielle trys to interrupt but Dina sushes her, Danielle gets livid and they start to spar. The show ends with them arguing in the restaurant. Not the best show, not my favorite RH franchise, hopefully it will get better. Don't forget about the RHONY reunion show Thursday.

Bethenny Interview
Interview Bethenny did with NY Magazine.
By: Emma Rosenblum
Bethenny Frankel is known as the voice of Housewives reason. While the other women flit about in their reality-TV worlds of unreality, Bethenny brings the action back down to earth, delivering punchy one-liners at the expense of their absurd antics. She took a few minutes out of her busy day — she has newborn baby and is promoting her new spinoff show for Bravo, Bethenny's Getting Married? — to talk to us about the past season, her feelings about Jill, and the true story behind Kelly in "Poison Island."
Happy end of season! What did you think of the finale?
It was definitely an interesting episode. People were commenting and tweeting to me about what I said to Ramona and Alex, saying it was really nice. And I did really mean it. And I do speak to them now, and they're part of these big things in my life. I don't know if everybody got what they wanted; a lot of people have asked me about the situation with Jill and revisited the Kelly situation. It was a crazy season.
You, in particular, had quite a tumultuous time.
My father was dying; I had a blot clot and was on bed rest; I found out I was pregnant; I got engaged — there was a lot on my plate. What you saw last night was the tail end of the Jill thing, and I was already kind of beaten up and resigned. Like a divorce, as I said — when someone sees their ex and they're just civil to them, but there's not much left to say. I wasn't heated about it; I was just numb.
It looked like neither of you ate during that lunch.
I ate, she didn't. It was awkward.
It must have been satisfying to watch the season, and have people agree with everything you've been saying all along.
That's been happening since the first season. I think it was Andy Cohen who said I was the Greek chorus. I feel like I have a lot in common with the audience, and we're always in it together. In the other week's episode with Kelly, that's why I said that thing about how I feel like I'm watching a movie, and I don't know if anyone else is watching the same movie with me. You guys are there with me, just months after.
What was that trip really like?
It was much worse in real life, what you saw was very toned down. I don't think the viewer could have handled what really happened. It was just much more intense, and I don't want to overuse the word crazy, but it was much more scary. I was worried for our safety and hers.
She wasn't really going to hurt anyone ...
No, I don't know. She was very irrational. I'm not being dramatic, I don't know. I have no idea what she's capable of. It's hard to comment on someone who's not living in the same reality that I am. It was just crazy.
Even Sonja was taken aback.
She's new to the whole thing, and she's very much not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers. Sonja's great; I really like her. She's like Chrissy from Three's Company. And she was being compassionate and we all were trying to be. But in the end we were hitting a brick wall, and it just wasn't normal.
Are there things you did this season that you regret?
I regretted the moment I called Luann a snake. I meant what I said, unfortunately, but I regretted how I handled it. At that point, I felt she was always making digs and being duplicitous. I don't feel that way anymore, so it's hard to comment now about it.
Jason seems great. How did he feel about being on the show?
He hates doing the Housewives. He thinks that it's nonsense. He doesn't want the collective of these women in our lives, and with our child, and the things we argue about, and the drama — it's just not him. In my new show, he's fully a big part of it, which he's happy to do and to support me in, but with the Housewives, he's peripheral. He frankly found it a little embarrassing, which I can understand. He'd never seen people behave this way; he'd never seen people speak to each other this way. He comes from a small town in Pennsylvania.
That kind of sounds like how Kelly always says she's from the Midwest ...
I know, like no one's ever had a one-night stand in the Midwest. It must have a very low teen-pregnancy rate out there.
What do you really think was going on with Jill this season?
Jill really wanted to come out on top of this, and she wanted to make me look bad and to have people hate me. And I think the viewers are smarter than people think, and they really pick up the nuances, and they get the gist of the entire thing. Because for her to start out the season saying to me, "My husband had cancer and you didn't care," it made me wary. I didn't know he was even sick, I just knew he was going in for a procedure. She could have called me and said, "You know, I'm going through something." So the fact that the first time I heard about that was on-camera, I immediately knew, Oh, this is what the season's going to be about.
It was sweet to see you become better friends with Ramona and Alex.
Both of them are really coming into their own. I think everyone's just digesting Ramona's craziness. I said this before: Ramona's the best kind of crazy. I think she's the star of the show, I really do. I think she's the only one they couldn't do the show without. And Alex never opened her mouth before this season.
So what's Bethennys' Getting Married? going to be like?
It's just a complete departure. It's hilarious; it's emotional; it's dramatic without having to be mean or have huge arguments. It's like a reality sitcom. It's totally me and it shows the intricacies of my life. It's way more micro.
Commenter ladygoodman asks: Do you have plans to come back next season?
It's not 100 percent, but the way I feel right now, with having a new baby and a new family, I just don't think that it's what I want to do right now. I feel like the show's peaking — it's at full tilt, and I just feel like I should leave the party when it's at its best.
NELLE777 asks: Oh, please say how you really feel about Kelly's PSA about bullying.
I really feel sorry for her. I can't even comment; it's just so absurd. She just needs to grow up. She acts like she's 16 years old. It's jaw-dropping.
Brawndo wants to know: Was Kelly leaving Poison Island her idea or was she asked to leave by the producers?
She had to leave, it wasn't really a request. No one handcuffed her, but it was like, okay, here's your flight, we're going home. And she was escorted home by a producer, flying in First Class, which shows you just how serious it was, because Bravo's not flying producers first class.
Satchelsofgold1979 asks: Do you think Jill's desire to make amends had anything to do with you getting your own show?
I think it had to do with remorse about how she was portrayed. I think it had to do with the fact that I was pregnant, you know. I don't know what her motives are; I have no idea. It's so beyond me.

Teresa is not broke, it's just a hater says Dina-RHONJ
Dina gives her take on Teresa's bankruptcy
Zap2it First
By Jethro Nededog
Reports just broke Saturday (June 5) that "Real Housewives of New Jersey's" Teresa Giudice filed bankruptcy papers showing she was $11 million in debt. But, castmate Dina Manzo tells us exclusively that the news is B.S.
"I think I would know if she was in that kind of trouble," Dina tells Zap2it. "And I think it's all kind of fabricated by a hater out there."
There is very little that the reports leave up to the imagination. According to the news, Teresa and her husband make only $79,000 a year combined and receive $10,000 a month from relatives.
Additionally, the reports say that their $1.8 million mansion in Towaco, NJ and their Jersey Shore vacation home are being foreclosed on. The news outlets also state that the Giudices have defaulted on their Cadillac Escalade and they owe $12,000 to a fertility clinic.
"I don't think that any of that's true," says Dina. "I think that's just a hater out there, maybe getting some old [information]. I mean we all have debt here and there. I know my Neiman's bill would knock your eye out."
Hm, well, it would seem that the news hits on everything that Teresa would hold dear. Could someone have engineered the whole story to get back at her?
"In my opinion, it's all someone making something up," Dina stresses.

Danielle-RHONJ recording a pop song
Check out this article from zap2it.
By Carina McKenzie
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" villain Danielle Staub is continuing the grand tradition of "Money Can't Buy You Class" and "Tardy for the Party." The housewife we love to hate tells People that she's gone into the studio to record a duet with Lori Michaels called "Real Close."
Michaels, a singer who grew up in Fairview, NJ, wrote the track. "It's a song about having commitment issues -- one person is leaving, the other person is staying," Staub says. "It's called 'Real Close' because you want to pull the person closer."
According to Staub, five versions of the track will be released sometime around early August. "For the main version, the vibe is very sexy, very raw."
But can Danielle's vocal chops compare to those of Countess LuAnn de Lesseps or Kim Zolciak? She says she's got the experience. "I sang in an R&B band when I was a young teen," she says. Is there anything Danielle hasn't done?
"When I was sitting down going over Lori's music, this song grabbed me." Staub says that her time in the studio with Michaels, who is openly gay, was very comfortable. The pair met at an NYC Gay Pride event.
"I've been part of the gay community for thirty years," says Danielle. "The gay community is the one place, in all honestly, that I've ever truly felt safe and loved for just being me. Nobody ever cared where I've been, what I've done. They just let me be me."
Perhaps some of the proceeds of the single (if there are any proceeds, that is) could go toward Emanuela's Heart for Hope to make up for Staub's behavior at the benefit for Chris Stilianessis' daughter. He's still waiting for an apology, after all -- he told Zap2it, "If she really has changed as she says she has, there will be a public statement. That day in the restaurant, she had tears in her eyes. If those were true tears, her heart would open with an apology."

Each week, Bravo follows the five ladies of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The show features how they live and what they do in their daily lives. One major part of their everyday life is, of course, spending money.
Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, have filed for bankruptcy, according to the New York Post. Teresa and Joe have four daughters, live in a beautiful mansion, drive fancy cars and spend loads of money on clothes. The couple reportedly make $79,000 a year combined, and are in debt by over $11 million.
The couple filed for bankruptcy in a Newark, New Jersey court, listing $11.8 million in debts. They owe about $2.6 million on mortgages to their three homes, $5.8 million on business investments, $104,000 in credit card debt and $12,000 to a fertility clinic. The banks have taken away their homes in the Jersey Shore and in Lincoln Park. The bank also moved to foreclose their main home in Towaco, New Jersey, which is worth $1.8 million.

The Real Housewives of New York Season Finale Recap 6/3/10
Jill decided to ask Bethanny to lunch to hash it awl out and to find some sort of result. Now note I said some sort of result because what Jill was looking for and what Bethanny was looking for was two totally different things. Jill wanted to do all nicey nice and get back in the fold of the Bethanny camp but Bethanny was not singing the same sawng (a little Jersey for you) as Jill. If you haven't noticed already Bethanny has the ability to disconnect in a heartbeat from someone (her dad). First Jill and Bethanny are BFF's then something happened (Jealous Jill) aka: Bobby didn't get a call from Bethanny; next thing you know Jill's mad at Bethanny. You said you learned something from this Jill, right? Was it that if you act like a Beatch you will be viewed as a Beatch?! Look how many time Bethanny extended the olive branch to you and you kept slapping it away!! I loved when Bethanny told Jill she felt like Jill was disloyal the last six months. She then went on to tell Jill their friendship break-up was similar to a divorce. I really feel like Bethanny has grown as a person. Could it be the baby coming or perhaps her future husband? Who knows; the point is she has evolved into a more secure person who is not going to let "toxic" things in her life. How does it feel to have the tables turned on you Jill?
Krazy Kelly was low key but apparently she is still not taking her meds; thus the recent web PSA speaking to her being bullied on the Ramona girl's get away. Kelly you need to pack your bags and get checked into the nearest hospital. Maybe your good friend Gwyneth can take you ;) BTW you complaining to Jill and LuAnn about how everyone was trying to one up each other is ridiculous! You failed to mention you were a total JERK to Ramona on her special trip.
There were a few moments of Jason and Bethanny packing to move downtown (super excited about her new show). The rest of the time was all about Ramona's renewal vow ceremony. Ramona and Avery went to the salon to get their hair done; which BTW Avery has really grown up.
LuAnn back pedals so much I can't keep up with her. She will say and do whatever she needs to.....after all she needs to make a living right? Well she can always fall back on her singing. Apparently she is doing weddings now because she sang at Ramona's wedding. Not so much shocker was LuAnn invited her boyfriend to come to her debut of Money Can't Buy You Class. I knew that other bonehead she was flirting with wouldn't last. This new guy seems nice....not to mention kind of cute.
Alex and Sonja are my last housewives to comment on and honestly not alot to say. I will predict that Alex and Sonja become close friends. It seems they both have some shared traits. The only difference is that Alex has Simon attached to her hip and well you know the story for Single Sonja. Perhaps Alex will get a little wild under the guidance of Single Sonja.
I do know that if Kelly didn't come back next season I would not be heartbroken. Jill is close to my "get outta here" list. My only advice to you Jill is stop being bossy, whinny and self centered person you are. I'm not sure if you really know you are kind of a Beatch this season. I really believe in my heart of hearts you were acting out of jealousy this season. Good luck with that.

Jill speaks to TV guide/Jill On Extra
By GINA DINUNNO
TV GUIDE
If you couldn't believe how uncomfortable Jill Zarin's surprise visit to the ladies' Caribbean getaway was last week, The Real Housewives of New York star says the awkwardness was "100 times worse in real life."
Real Housewives of NYC star Sonja Morgan booked on suspicion of drunken driving
Find out why Jill thinks was she got kicked out of the vacation spot, what she has to say about Alex "attacking" her and why she says she didn't go on the Bravo-paid trip.
Real Housewives' Jill: I loved Bethenny
TVGuide.com: Was your surprise visit to the beach house as awkward as it came across on TV?
Jill Zarin: It was 100 times worst in real life. And that's hard for me to say because I've never been in a situation like that. I felt like I walked into a firing squad. Thank God, I had Bobby with me, because I wasn't prepared for that. I mean, I knew I wasn't getting along with Bethenny, that's one of the reasons I went — to try to make up with her. But I think had Alex not cared whether I stayed or left, I could have gotten past it. But for whatever influence Alex has over Ramona right now worked.
TVguide.com: What do you think was the deal with Alex?
Jill: Alex wants to make herself more important on the show, and I totally respect that. And this was her way of doing it. This was her way of creating a place for herself to stay on the show. Without the drama of what she's been doing, she really doesn't have a place on the show. In the finale, you'll see there's a moment with Alex where she wants to talk to me. I just remove myself from it. I have nothing against her, I'm just not going to give her another shot at me since her history with me is to attack me unprovoked. I've done nothing to her. In the first two seasons I was the only one who supported her, and now all of a sudden she found this voice and wants to attack me.
Real Housewives of New York's Alex: Jill is a "master manipulator"
TVGuide.com: Why was Bobby there if it was a girls' getaway?
Jill: I thought I'd be able to have lunch with them, see Bethenny, try [to] make up [with her], and I wasn't really sure if I was going to spend the night or go back to the hotel with Bobby. He got a room on the island for the night and was never planning on staying. He was just going to drop me off, leave and pick me up in the morning. I knew it was a girls' thing, I even brought gifts.
TVGuide.com: So why do you think Ramona got so upset?
Jill: First of all, I forgot Ramona hates surprises. I handle surprises so differently. I remember when Simon showed up at my house with Alex during my dinner party in the first season. Ramona wanted me to throw them out, but I said, "No, they're my guests." Ramona should have done what I did, and say, "Jill's my friend. She's my guest. She's welcome in the home." And by the way, you know who paid for the trip? Bravo. I don't understand why all of a sudden this is her trip and under her control. This was a Bravo trip, and we were all invited on equally.
TVGuide.com: Then why didn't you go?
Jill: That's another thing that upset me. The reason why I couldn't go was barely touched upon and edited out. When I was at lunch with Ramona at the Four Seasons, I was very clear I couldn't go because that was the weekend before Allison's applications for her early decision [for colleges] was due. And Ramona knew it. Of course I would have gone. Why would I turn down a free trip to the Caribbean? I thought if I made the effort to go out of my way to go, she'd really appreciate it. Who would think in a million years that she would not even offer me a glass of water? She just told me to get out. You didn't even seen half of what went on. It was much worst. It's hard to talk about, it was so bad.
TVGuide.com: So how did you get past it?
Jill: I have my friends and my family and wonderful fans who have been unbelievably supportive and kind. I have a book that just came out, Secrets of a Jewish Mother, and I usually get 100-300 people to show up at my book signings, which is fantastic.
TVGuide.com: Do you think you're getting editing this season making you come off as the bad guy?
Jill: I certainly think I don't think I've come off very well this season. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to figure that one out. [Laughs] However, I will say they are cleaning it up a bit in the last two episodes. People say it's the old Jill coming back, but I never left. I'm the same. I'm not perfect, and they certainly caught me at some embarrassing moments, but there's nothing I can do about it but move forward.

Bethenny's baby pictures not worth $100,000.00
Here is a article from All Headline News about Bethenny trying to sell Bryn's baby pictures.
Anne Lu - AHN Entertainment Contributor
New York, NY, United States (AHN) - "Real Housewives of New York City" Bethenny Frankel isn't as popular as she thought she is. The reality show star had to give her baby's first photos up for free after no magazine was willing to pay the $100,000 price she set for them.
Page Six reports that the housewife demanded a hundred thousand dollars for the first pictures of Bryn Casey Hoppy, her weeks-old daughter. But it turns out she hasn't achieved celebrity status yet. No magazine was willing to take her offer at that steep price.
She ended up giving the photos for free to People magazine.
A source said, "Bethenny was asking for way too much. Some six-figure deals have been done recently for first pictures of Kourtney Kardashian's and Kendra Wilkinson's babies, and Bethenny wanted the same."
"But she found no takers."
Frankel replied to the news, saying, "Actually it was $100 million."
The new bride, who married beau Jason Hoppy in March, gave birth to their daughter on May 8.

Gretchen hosting Las Vegas gigs/Casting for RHOOC
Check out this article from Reality Tea.
So what’s a gal to do when she is forced to fork over a check of 22k to her alleged stalker ex? Well if you’re Gretchen Rossi of the Real Housewives of Orange County, you pick yourself up and get right back to what you do best — hosting parties and doing paid appearances.
Gretchen, 32, hosted some parties in Las Vegas this weekend. First she appeared at the JET mirage nightclub on Friday, and then donned a bikini the next day before hitting up the Bare Pool Lounge where she is said to have relaxed with her friends and family. More photos of Gretchen below.
In other news, Bravo has announced it is now casting for the sixth season of the OC Housewives. According to their casting call, they are looking for “outgoing, exciting, strong, focused women who reside in Orange County and want to share their lives with us.”
This seems to be a negotiating ploy done by Bravo every year whenever it comes time to negotiate with the current housewives, as they never really pick their new housewives from the casting calls. Case in point, last season’s new housewife Alexis Bellino, was not picked from a casting call. She was recommended to the producers by Gretchen.
With that being said, more on the casting call is below. Audition at your own risk:
“We are looking for women who are “Housewives” in the present-day sense. They should be lively and energetic, with defined opinions and views. The women need to have busy lives, be involved with the community, have a strong work ethic, and an active social calendar. Most of all, these women need to be enjoying “the good life.” We love women who are self-confident and happy with whom they are. The women, their significant others and families must be open to sharing their experiences with the producers and the television audience.”

POISON ISLAND
This week starts out with Kelly leaving a note for Ramona and leaving before breakfast. Some of the RH say she was asked to leave by production, who knows, sounds true. Sonja treat all the women to manicures and pedicures on the terrace. Everyone is chilling out and in walks Jill. No one is happy to see her and it is obvious to Jill. Ramona outright asks her why she is there? Jill seems shocked that everyone is not happy surprised. She acknowledges everyone but Alex. Bobby is with her in the background looking uncomfortable. No one is talking except Jill, Bethenny is melting into the lounger, Alex is in hives and Sonja looks stunned. Jill takes the hint and leaves very upset. Ramona goes to talk outside and Bobby talks to Bethenny, Alex and Sonja briefly, he seems defensive and not nice. Bethenny does not want to go into it with him. Jill says to Ramona " I thought we were friends" a few times and is teary eyed. Ramona gets defensive and a little annoyed. Jill crys on Bobby's shoulder and sobs " they were so mean". Jill talked in interviews about how the viewers would see it was not her fault and to watch the show and we would see what happened. The season is almost over and Jill is looking more awful then before. When is redemption coming Jill?
They four remaining women have a nice dinner and during it Ramona chokes but is OK. Sonja tells a story about giving her poodle the Heimlich maneuver and then goes into sex talk and Ramona cringes. Alex and Sonja give Bethenny and Ramona a shower including handcuffs and toilet paper wedding dresses. GOOD TIMES. Jill,Jen,Louann and Kelly have lunch and Kelly tells her story of what happened to her. Kelly says Bethenny admitted to her that she went out of her way to smear Kelly. She also says they gossiped and one upped each other the whole time and that they came after her. Kelly brings up the chef thing again and Jen and Louann defend Bethenny. Then Kelly says booze and not felling well was the reason she acted that way. Louann asks Kelly if she had a breakdown, she says no. Jen looks confused, Jill is mocking Kelly about Jelly beans and Louann is laughing, end scene.
Sonja has an art party and everyone but Jill comes. Simon is dressed odd again. All the women go upstairs to give Louann the other side of the poison island saga. They all agree that something is wrong with Kelly, Louann said they were convincing. Jill has her holiday skating party at Bryant Park. Jen is there putting together gift bags and running the event. Jill has a copy of her book propped up in a window, always pushing the book down people throats. Before the event starts Jill asks her sister Lisa if she should call Bethenny and meet for lunch, Lisa says yes. The next thing you know Jill asks Bethenny to lunch and she says yes. Jill is very happy. Louann and Kelly arrive and chit chat. Jill decks herself out in a deep pink Olympic skater type outfit. She then gets on the ice and falls, picks herself up and does a little routine in the middle of a ring of people. It was ridiculous looking. Ramona shows up and Kelly rags her to talk about the trip, Ramona says no, Kelly presses her. Ramona tells Kelly she has problems, Kelly says Bethenny is crazy. It ends with Ramona saying I am sorry you were unhappy to shut Kelly up.
Ending the show is Ramona and Jill hammering out Jill being shunned like a leper. Ramona tells Jill her lack of humility or humor when she showed up put them off. It ends with Ramona and Jill being friends still. The previews look good, with Jill and Bethenny meeting, till then.
Danielle's ex responds to Danielle
Article from US magazine about Danielle's book and her ex.
Kevin Maher says that he's been accused by ex-wife Danielle Staub (Real Housewives of New Jersey) of "horrific" crimes: rape, assault, even killing her dog.
Maher -- whose own book Cop Without a Badge alleged involvement by Staub in kidnapping and drug use -- spoke exclusively to UsMagazine.com to refute his ex-wife's many claims against him. The pair wed in 1988 and split up about a year and a half later.
In October, Maher filed a $5 million lawsuit against the Bravo star, with her deposition scheduled for July. At issue in the lawsuit, Maher says, are disturbing accusations Staub made against him.
In his court filing, Maher claims that Staub has said "that I raped her on a bed of broken glass, inserted a handgun in her vagina and played Russian roulette....[that] I killed her dog...The list just goes on and on...The woman is insane."
Staub, 47, does not make these specific allegations in her new memoir The Naked Truth, but talks about domestic violence in her past. "I was severely abused," Staub told Us of her marriage to Maher. "He was very possessive...I was hospitalized several times."
To prove his innocence, Maher say that he passed a lie-detector test on March 22 with "an accredited polygraph examiner" from the LAPD.
Regarding the dog story, Maher tells Us that his ex has told "three different variations" to different people. "One was that I hung it...the other one was that I shot the dog. The other one was that I shot her, the bullet passed by her and killed the dog."
"This woman was never hospitalized by me," he adds.
"If you were to seek treatment after being beaten, which is a felony, that hospital would have to call the local police. There are no hospital records of me putting her in a hospital like she claims."
Maher does admit to hitting his wife "in self defense, pulling her off me...I never beat her. I did hit her -- it's true. Not something I'm proud to admit."
Why did he and Staub stay together? "At the time, we were both doing cocaine," Maher admits. "I was never in love with her, I was in lust with her. Our whole relationship was about sex. We had sex from the time we woke up in the morning to when we went to sleep, and even during sleeping. It was all about sex and cocaine."
Maher remarried on Valentine's Day 2009; he and his new wife welcomed daughter Kaley a year ago, he says. Staub's allegations jeopardized his new family and marriage, he charges. Maher had to convince his new father in-law that he wasn't a "rapist" or an "animal," and his 9-year-old stepdaughter "suffered" after Staub's accusations became public.
"She is without conscience," Maher tells Us of his ex. "She's calculating. I believe that Danielle Staub sold her soul to Satan for fame. Her children are suffering from it...her past is going to catch up to her very soon."

Alex tells the ugly truth about Kelly
Article about Alex's real thoughts of the RHONY.
In Celebs by Meieli Sawyer Detoni
MUCH CRAZIER IN PERSON?
I appreciate Alex McCord much more now that she's shown us her "real" side. In the first season and a half of the Real Housewives of New York, I thought that she was too preposterous for words... now she's the voice of reason! Alex McCord spilled about Kelly Bensimon's crazy reveal on the show, and she said that it was even worse in person.
Alex said that she believes Kelly actually came off "better" than she did in reality.
"It was much more [crazy] in real life," Alex told Us, adding "much more crazy!"
If you missed it, last week's Real Housewives of New York was epic. During a sophisticated sit-down dinner, model and intellectual giant (scoff) Kelly Bensimon went on an unprovoked rampage, accusing Bethanny of trying to murder her in a dream and calling Alex a "vampire."
"I remember the first time that Kelly mentioned that she thought I was channeling the devil. It was in the middle of the soup course!" McCord told Us. "That wasn't the first time that had happened. Throughout the trip, it just came out of the blue."
The newest member to the Real Housewife crew, Sonja Morgan, managed to get all the girls to treat Kelly with kid gloves after realizing that there were serious issues revealed in Kelly's outburst.
"There was definitely a moment when we all clicked into realizing we had to stop picking part all the insane things being said because there's a reason beyond anyone's control, beyond her control," Alex reflected.
The funniest part was when Alex admitted that she asked her husband, Simon, what he thought of the episode after it aired. Since he got a good look at her crazy outing with the wolf pack, he said that he now "understands."
What do you think is wrong with Kelly? Is it a mental imbalance, a weird reaction to stress, stupidity, or drugs?

Danielle's book is out
Here is an article from the Star-Ledger about Danielle's book The Naked Truth.
By Vicki Hyman/The Star-Ledger
Danielle Staub, the much-maligned (by her castmates, at least) star of "Real Housewives of New Jersey," finally opens up about her troubled past (well, if you don't take into account this story, or this one, or the reunion show, in which we heard talk about her childhood sexual abuse, or even our interview at a local hair salon, natch, in which she talked about her first husband's alleged abuse.)
So here's what we learned, $25 later: Staub, er Beverly Merrill, was born to an unmarried woman from Italy whose family may have actually killed the woman's lover. Staub was sexually abused from the ages of 7 to 9 (she doesn’t name names, only that they were relatives and family friends). She left home young, moved to Florida with one of her boyfriends, and spent her early 20s working at bars, modeling and doing speed.
She dated an Olympic athlete (no name), shared a "passionate" kiss with Don Johnson in his "Miami Vice" heyday and made out with Prince at a party: "All I am going to say is that he was the best kisser out of all the celebrities I have ever been with." (Which apparently includes WKTU DJ Goumba Johnny, whom she dated after her second marriage broke up. Who's next? The Situation? )
Staub eventually started working as a call girl and confirms that she slept with two of her clients. "I was not paid to go up to men’s hotel rooms," she clarifies. "I was paid to establish relationships." Cue Teresa Giuidce: Prostitution whore!
Of the drug-related kidnapping for which she was once arrested -- the centerpiece of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" season one drama -- she dismisses it as "wrong place/wrong time" deal in which she was only peripherally involved. In prison, she fell under the protection of meth dealer Sister Sue, who saved her from being raped by prison guards. While waiting to be sentenced for the plea bargain, she met Kevin Maher, later immortalized in "Cop Without a Badge," in which he claimed that Staub was a coke whore. Contrary to Maher’s memory, she says she was not wearing leather hot pants during their first meeting: "I was actually dressed quite tastefully in a long, fitted, ruffled Spanish dress."
They moved to New York, where she became an exotic dancer. They married, but their relationship became violent -- she says he beat and terrorized her, he tells Usmagazine.com he hit her once, and only in self-defense -- and eventually ended. She met her wealthy second husband while working at a Carlstadt strip club, married him and "quickly made the transition to socialite," though that marriage, too, ended in divorce.
How's the book doing? The hardcover is ranked 2,808 on Amazon.com as of this afternoon (88 spots above "Cop Without a Badge.") The Kindle version of Staub's memoir is doing better: 1,113, and it's the second best-selling book for memoirs of famous and notable people, right behind Kitty Kelley's unauthorized bio of Oprah Winfrey.
Meanwhile, fellow "Real Housewife" Teresa's cookbook, "Skinny Italian," which has been out for about three weeks, is selling briskly. It was ranked 96 in sales on Amazon.com this afternoon, and it's both the top-selling low-fat cookbook and Italian cookbook, topping recent releases by Mario Batali and Giada De Laurentiis.

Real Housewives of DC
Article from Roll Call about the RHODC.
By Emily Heil and Elizabeth Brotherton
We still don’t know for sure whether White House party crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi will actually appear on the Bravo reality show “Real Housewives of DC,” but one area resident also rumored to be a participant is ready for her close-up.
Catherine Ommanney, a British-born interior designer who’s married to photographer Charles Ommanney, is profiled in a three-page press release to reporters on Monday by spokeswoman Erika Paola Gutierrez. Ommanney is a “soon to be reality TV star on a widely popular reality series,” Gutierrez writes, hinting that the 38-year-old — who made headlines in the United Kingdom for claiming to have kissed Prince Harry in a bar in 2006 — will star on the show.
According to her bio, Ommanney is a mother of two daughters who is “well known for her no nonsense attitude (a big part of why she bumps heads with DC’s nationally recognized controversial couple) and the ability to make a statement.”
Hmmm. ... Could she mean the Salahis?
And even before the premiere of the show that Ommanney may or may not appear on, she is plugging a book, “Inbox Full,” which details a four-year period in her love life through diary entries and text messages.
There’s no word on when the “Real Housewives” cast will be revealed; a Bravo spokeswoman was mum about an official release date Monday, although she did shoot down rumors that it would be announced today.

QUOTES FROM KELLY
Below are quotes from Kelly, talking about her behavior on the last episode of RYONY:
"MY CAST MATES ARE JEALOUS HATERS."
Are you talking about Jill?
"THEY'RE NOT HAPPY I'M ON THE SHOW."
True.
"THEY DON'T LIKE ME."
Sonia maybe kinda likes you in a pity kind of way.
"I'M VERY SENSITIVE, AND IF SOMEONE SAYS SOMETHING VERY RUDE TO ME OVER AND OVER AGAIN, I AM HUMAN AND WILL REACT."
Kelly, sensitive is soooo 1979.
"CONSTANTLY JABBING AT HER ON AND OFF CAMERA."
Was Bethenny jabbing you with her tongue of knifes?
"I MAKE FOR AWESOME TV."
Maybe in Europe.
"ANYTHING THEY CAN DO TO GET ME NOT IN THE SCENE OR OFF THE SHOW, THEY ARE REALLY GOING AFTER ME."
Thank You Ladies, keep it up.
" IT WAS FOUR PEOPLE AGAINST ONE."
Add all your personalities and it was an even match.
" THE MINUTE I GOT ON THE TRIP THEY WENT AFTER ME, IT WAS CONSTANT."
I doubt it.
" YOU HAVE TO POLICE THEM, OTHERWISE THEN YOU ARE NOT A PART OF WHAT IS GOING ON, AND THEN THEY GO OFF AND GOSSIP ABOUT YOU BEHIND YOUR BACK."
Like Jill and Luann talk about you and yourself about Bethenny, Jill, Ramona and Alex?
I could write more but I can't.
