Eric left DeShawn-RHOA for pregnant girlfriend
Post from Reality Tea. Poor DeShawn, she was such a sweetheart, keep your chin up DeShawn.
The news of a divorce filing between Eric Snow and his wife DeShawn Snow, former star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, came as a huge shocker to fans who watched the two on the show’s first season.
Fast forward to today and there is now more news on what caused the actual split between the two. According to the StraightFromTheA, and FreddyO blogs, a pregnant mistress is to blame.
A source reveals to FreddyO that Eric left his wife of 12 years, DeShawn, for his pregnant girlfriend. The alleged pregnant mistress is Marisela Alvarado, who happens to be a former Michigan State classmate of Eric’s. A picture of Marisela with Eric from their class reunion is below.
Another source tells the StraightFromTheA blog that Eric’s cheating ways isn’t a surprise, as he was always a cheater during his marriage to DeShawn and was very open with his cheating.
“During the first season of the real housewives of Atlanta, Deshawns husband would be on camera talking to other women on the phone, flirting with other women and/or cursing her out all on camera as if no one was watching. A couple of times, the producers had to remind him that the cameras were recording.”
Eric filed for divorce back in May and has yet to publicly comment on the cheating allegations.

Alexis-RHOOC kids stroller falls in pool
Post from TMZ.
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Alexis Bellino nearly lost two children on July 4th when she left her stroller unattended ... and it rolled into a pool -- this according to security at The Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach, CA.
Sources at the pool tell TMZ that sometime during the holiday celebration, Alexis and her husband Jim were off "doing something" ... and the stroller -- carrying 2 toddlers -- toppled into the pool.
According to multiple security officers on scene, the lifeguard pulled the stroller out of the water with one child still in it. Alexis' husband dove in to save the other one.
But Jim tells us a slightly different story -- claiming, "There was no lifeguard needed or involved."
We're told both of the Bellino children are fine and didn't need medical attention.

Social Life Party details
Post from Scallywag & Vagabond about their experience at the Social Life Kelly cover party.
by:Scallywag
The strange things that are happening this summer… Even before I begin writing this I know Ms Devorah Rose is going to want to wring my neck when she wakes up to read this little story but I’m afraid I’m rather too beguiled not to write about it.
This past Saturday, July 3rd- I was under the impression I would be having a dandy cavalier time at the estate of the Social Life magazine, unfortunately such thoughts were banished when I stepped out of the car I had arrived with publicist Kevin Alexander of Planet Pr. There in front of us stood a deranged looking woman atop of the Social Life front lawn, where the kerb meets the road brandishing what I initially thought was a broomstick. Of course it become rather odd to see the broomstick aimed at my kneecaps, say the way a hunter would aim his or her gun at their prey. That’s when I realized the broom was in fact a shotgun.
From the distance one could hear the rowdy guests, the clinking of glasses, the laughter of Kelly Bensimon somewhere deep in the void and the pitter patter of my heart as the mad woman started approaching us. In such moments one can never be entirely sure what will come of anything and how remarkably fragile life is. The idea of dying for the sake of Devorah and Justin Mitchell (Social Life Magazine’s publisher) caused my head to swell, romantic notions aside and the creak in my shoe to get louder.
As the wild frustrated lady of the Hamptons estate spoke she demanded that we get back in our car, get back to our hideous lives in Manhattan and for all of us to leave her collectively alone. It had it seemed come to this- another year of rowdy parties courtesy of the estate and the mad woman was that much closer to her breaking point. A cursory look around the road saw cars as far as the eye could see, not a soul to save us and Mr Kevin Alexander wisely calling the police to beseech this incredibly irritated woman.
From there we entered the premises, a phalanx of security check points, a consortium of eye popping photographers and the visage of Kelly Bensimon smiling deeply into someone’s camera, Jill Zarin hissing, Justin Mitchell wearily greeting his guests and Ms Devorah Rose I presumed by the pool patronizing her guests.
As I stood there in the auditorium, a cacophony of commercial interests and product endorsements ad hoc I decided to call Mr Christopher London, Social Life Magazine’s Society Editor to see if he himself had come across a mad woman by the front lawn.
At first amused, he listened, waiting for the punch line when for a long moment he said nothing but a solitary - “Jesus Chris.”
He then proceeded to explain to me the contentious history of the locals, the previous run ins, shouting matches but never the display of shotguns. It seemed the summer of 2010 was really going to be a hot one. At least Mr London had exercised some discretion and had chosen to stay home…
At this stage the party ambled along, guests greeting each other, the visage of Absolut Vodka display girls and guests a jarring juxtoposition. And then the music stopped, the food being served wrapped away and the look of Justin Mitchell suddenly askew with the arrival of police. By now the party was over and Social Life magazine’s publisher in arrears to the tune of $400 courtesy of fines he received (as opposed to an immediate summonsing to the police station which he was relieved to have avoided) and the camera once aimed at Kelly Bensimon and co firmly packed away.
So much for neighbors with shotguns and short tempers…at least next time when I come back to the Hamptons, I’ll know to bring my pitchfork.

Kandi talks to STACKS Magazine
Interview Kandi did for STACKS magazine.
STACKS Magazine was recently afforded the opportunity to chat it up with the lovely Kandi Buruss. Kandi’s been making major moves for a while now. Starting out as one fourth of the girl group Xscape, it wasn’t long before she began to spread her wings. As author of some of today’s biggest hits, a star on a hit reality show, and co-owner of a clothing boutique, TAGS – it’s safe to say that Kandi has established herself as a gifted singer, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur…and as the mastermind behind her own success.
What you might not know is that Kandi has other talents, she is very family oriented and is a little weird about some things. And, when it comes to music she makes it known that she does not limit herself…“it’s not just urban or R&B or whatever…I love all kinds of music… I feel like I can write anything.”
Continuing to keep her trail ablaze, the multi-talented Kandi has several irons in the fire and is certainly one to watch out for. Want to know how Kandi continues to stay financially stable, what she has going on now, and for the fellas – what she likes in a man? Keep reading!
Since we’re here at TAGS let’s start there. How did this venture come to fruition?
Well, my business partner, Peaches - we’ve been friends for a long time - she’s had stores that were successful and I used to love her style. Her stuff is so cute, but so reasonably priced so I was like Peaches we need to do a store…we need to do it! In my mind, I wanted to have another business outside of music that was making money.
At first she really didn’t want to go into business with friends ‘cause sometimes that can mess up friendships, but I feel like when you have a mutual respect and people are on top of their business you can make it work out. I kept bugging her about it and so finally she broke down. So, I came up with the name of the store…you know how everybody was saying poppin’ tags or whatever? So I was like “ooh we should call it poppin’ tags”! And, uh, she felt like that was too urban. So finally after a couple of years she came to me like are you serious?…you really wanna do it for real? I told her yeah. So we did it and here it is…TAGS! We’re talking about opening our second location now.
...any plans for expanding the store here locally or maybe regionally?
Well, first we talked about doing it locally, but we just opened the online shopping in February and that’s going well. The store itself is doing really well. We decided that we would probably do another one here in Atlanta before going to different cities. I’m kind of scared though because I’m one of those types of people that don’t like to jump too far out there. Financially I like to do things below my means all the time because I’m like okay I can still take risks, but I don’t know…I like to slow roll it.
So at the end of the day you want to make sure your foundation is still there...
Yes, exactly. This is my first time doing something like this so I’m a little nervous. She’s done it before so she knows. She’s had multiple stores at the same time before. She knows how to make it work. That’s why I’m so glad that I did a business with somebody who’s done it and done it successfully.
Kandi Koated Entertainment, which is your label - are you currently signed to Kandi Koated?
Yeah, I’m an artist under my own brand.
Do you have any other artists signed to your label or what’s the future for Kandi Koated?
Not yet. This year I definitely plan on developing an artist. I have two artists that I definitely want to do. One was shown on the show…the little girl they showed auditioning for me…love her. She is on her own. I love artist who have their own style before you get with them. They kind of know who they are. So love her. Then I have this other artist that I kind of want to develop from scratch. They’ve never really done it before…kind of like how Kim (Zolciak) was. So I have another person I want to work with like that.
Are you still working with Kim to help her get her music career off the ground?
Yeah. We’re going to go back into the studio to do something else. She needs another one to perform. We did some shows together…it’s time she get another song.
You had an album you were working on, B.L.O.G….
It never came out. That is what I was working on, on the show last year. There was an EP, but I’m still going to put the songs on the album with additional records.
So we can still expect B.L.O.G?
I’m not going to call it B.L.O.G. At first I was going to call it B.L.O.G because last year when A.J. and I decided to be a part of the show people was coming left and right with negative things to say on the blogs and there were things that inspired songs that I was writing on the record. But, then toward the end of the year, after A.J. passed away and different things happened, I just felt like you know what…I don’t want to go dwell on the negative. ‘Fly Above’ was more of a representation of where I’m at with me in my life right now. So I’mma call it ‘Fly Above’ because everything I went through I’m flying above it now.
Are you currently working with any other artists…singing, writing, or producing?
Hmm, let me see! Well you know I’m always gonna jump on a different rappers’ song every now and then (laughs). I did something for Wacka Flocka, but I don’t know if he’s keeping it yet. I can’t wait to see when Fantasia’s album comes out because there’s this one song we did that I love and I hope she keeps it.
Are you singing on it?
No, no. I just wrote it, but it’s beautiful! It’s a beautiful song and she does an outstanding job of singing it! So I hope they keep it on the album. I’ve mainly been focusing on my own stuff. The Wacka Flacka was only a few weeks ago. I like it too! I need to hear it! I don’t know how their label feels about it, you know.
Who are you working with on your album?
On my album so far, I have Tiny, Rasheeda - that’s my girl…she’s on there, Rick Ross, Gucci. I think that’s all for the guest appearances so far.
It’s a song that I did for Jaheim, that was supposed to be on his album that was sooo hot and at the last minute - they put me on it at the last minute - I think he wanted to change some things and they didn’t have time to change it before going to press it up so it ended up not being on the record. But, I love the song and I’m thinking about asking them to just let me use it for my album. There’s no point in letting a good song go to waste.
You certainly have a plethora of musical talents, do you have any other talents that we may not know about?
Actually, I think I can act better than I can sing!
Yeah. Well I’ve been out of it for a long time. I went to a performing arts high school, Tri Cities High School. I went for drama, not music. Which a lot of people would think - you know, I went to a performing arts school - she was singing all the time. No, I did music my 9th grade year and after that it was straight drama and theater. I think I’m really good at it. They showed me on the show doing that play for the ‘Pocketbook Monologues’, so that was little taste. But I feel like as far as dramatic acting, I love it…like LOVE IT! And I would love to do Broadway.
Can you tell us anything about what we can expect to see on the new season of RHOA?
I can’t talk a lot, but you’ll still see more about my personal life. You’ll see dating, you’ll see a situation with my daughter and her father…you know that whole situation. You know I talked about that last year, about being a single parent, but I guess you’ll get a little bit more insight on it this year. We’re early into taping so I don’t know where it’s going, but I know they want to get into that. But you’ll see me and Kim together more because we’re friends. Out of everybody on the cast she is the one that I am the coolest with. We actually take family vacations together and everything. We have definitely developed a friendship since last year and you’ll definitely see more of that and the music definitely.
You do a lot. What’s your motivation? Business wise?
Well, I am the main provider for my daughter and my mother. There is nobody else taking care of ‘us. It’s nobody I can run to. I am the go-to person pretty much in my family. Don’t get me wrong, I like being that person that they can depend on. I don’t look at it as a chore. It’s not a burden to me. I like it and I like being able to do for them. So, that motivates me to keep things happening. That’s one thing. Another thing is I always want to stay relevant and in order to do that you gotta keep things happening.
With that, we know that you are very family oriented. With everything that you have going on, how do you keep that balance to ensure that you have a healthy family life while still being able to do the things you need to do in order to support your family?
There are certain days that I block out and say “I’m not doing anything I’m spending time with my daughter”. Any little day that I have free, it’s spending time with Riley and her friends. I just try to make those times important for Riley. And my mom, I need to step up and do a little with mother-daughter day because sometimes my mom feels a little left out. My mom is one of those that can’t go a day without talking. So I have to call my mother everyday, like I’m a little kid or something. But, even with my aunts and my cousins – if I spend too much time away from them then I get heat about that. I have to spend time with my family ‘family. I don’t have one of the families – you know how some people they don’t see their cousins and aunties, my family is not like that. My mom is the youngest of 14 kids and it’s like a group of them where we’re kinda like – we were raised like sisters and brothers not like cousins. We constantly try to do stuff together. We don’t necessarily have to do reunions like some other people do because we see each other all the time.

Salahi's steal the spotlight at 4th celebration
From the Washington Examiner.
Michaele & Tommy McFly 107.3

By: Nikki Schwab
Adrian Grenier was supposed to be the guest of honor.
Performing with his band the Honey Brothers, he was the bold-faced name used to draw folks to the W Hotel's rooftop on the Fourth of July.
But the fireworks won out. While the "Entourage" star played drums and sang inside, partygoers staked out prime spots to watch the annual fireworks show on the W's roof. And they got a bonus: a better musical act. The band the Killers were playing a USO show at the White House and easily could be heard from the W.
Later on, frontman Brandon Flowers was spotted in the W's "living room."
Oh, and another distraction?
The Salahis showed up to the party as well. The "Real Housewives of D.C." stars didn't crash (they bought tickets like everybody else), but Michaele Salahi donned red and took plenty of pictures posing with the party's guests.

Camille/Kelsey divorce

Kelsey Grammer admits "there were just a few things" that he and estranged wife Camille couldn't work out, but the actor is slamming a report claiming that the tipping point in their failed marriage came when he didn't call his kids on Father's Day.
"The truth is I did call my kids that evening," he writes on his Web site KelseyLive.com.
"Frankly, I was surprised that they did not call me in the morning but I was thousands of miles away and working that day so I didn't give it a second thought," says Grammer, 55, who is currently appearing on Broadway in La Cage Aux Folles, while Donatacci and their kids, Mason, 8, and Jude, 5, live in Los Angeles.
The Cheers star says that the couple had discussed flying the children to New York for Father's Day but decided to skip the trip since they were scheduled to come out the following week.
"I called them to see how they were doing as I do almost every night at around the same time, 11 p.m. my time, 8 p.m. their time, just before they go to bed," he writes. "Mason had been upset earlier that day because she was missing me. I spoke to her for some time and reassured her that I loved her and that I would be seeing her soon."
As for reports that he was spotted getting cozy with a blonde at a New York restaurant, Grammer clarifies that the woman is question was daughter Spencer, 26, from his first marriage.
"I do take issue with the characterization that we were smooching but surely if that were the case then even I admit it might be newsworthy in some fashion," he quips.
He adds that he will date again when the time is right. "Certainly, the time will come when I do see another woman," he says. "I expect Camille to see other men. I hope people and the press will understand that we are both free to carry on with our lives."
Addressing the reason for the split Grammer writes, "Camille and I had been discussing the possibility of a separation for some time before all this happened. She finally decided she should file. I respect her for this decision … I hope to have a great partnership with her in the raising of our children."
And as for future rumors, the actor asks fans not to believe everything they read. "Gossip and the rumor mill always thrive during times like these, as in the Father's Day story," he writes. "Whatever might be said, I ask that you take the 'high road.' I intend to do the same."

Is Bethenny Getting Married? Now she is! On last night’s episode, Bethenny Frankel was shown 7 months pregnant and preparing to walk down the aisle with fiance, now-husband Jason Hoppy. Besides the fact that Jill Zarin wasn’t invited and will never be allowed to babysit her child (duh), things were happy and light and very un-Housewives as wedding bells began ringing.
But the episode was not without drama. For example:
1. Bethenny squeezed into several dresses for her baby shower but none of them fit. She fake-screamed at her bridesmaid Teri and nameless stylist before choosing a sparkly minidress, quipping, “I’m a pregnant sequined prostitute!!!!”
2. Bethenny told her Overzealous Wedding Planner, “I will rip your dick off,” if he messed up her nuptials. Then she cracked, “Namaste,” and they laughed. Dysfunctional relationship! Also, hilarious.
3. She and Jason met with their wedding officiant, and in a moving scene, Bethenny began crying after the officiant asked whether she’d have any family members attending. (As Housewives‘ viewers will recall, her father died last season and she is estranged from her “crazypants” mother). It was especially touching when Jason, a calming force in her hectic life, soothed her with the highest compliment, “You’re gonna be the best mother ever.”
4. Bethenny’s dog Cookie is not a fan of Overzealous Wedding Planner, who refers to her as “Cujo.” As it happened, she bit him on the leg at her master’s Tribeca condo! Cookie is well trained.
5. Bethenny threw a pre-wedding “rehearsal luncheon” for friends and family, where she presented Jason with a painting of a runaway bride (winking at her noncommittal past). Jason love d it. Then his dad called Bethenny “beautiful, awesome and pregnant.” Then Bethenny’s assistant said she and Jason make “each other better.” We don’t cry a lot, but there were a few tears on our end. Ack. We’re drinking the Kool-Aid!

Bethenny done with RHONY, Jill will come back
Post from Reality Tea.
Is Bethenny Frankel really leaving the Real Housewives of New York City? According to Bethenny, she is leaning towards a yes answer.
In a new interview, Bethenny gives the following quote, “I do have the choice,” she says of choosing to do her own spinoff – Bethenny’s Getting Married? and the Housewives series. “And I don’t believe I’ll be doing any more ‘Housewives,’ she added.
As for why she’s leaning towards leaving the shit show, Bethenny reveals the dramatic reunion played a big role. “It was a real tense experience,” she explains. “It just felt heavy and you’re about to shoot something and you just don’t [want to]. [My life] feels lighter. Actually, it feels a lot lighter.”
While Bethenny makes it clear her decision to leave the Housewives’ series is not yet official, she also explains why shooting her own show is more fun.
“On ‘Housewives,’ you always have to do some charity event or some big dramatic moment,” she says. “The best parts of my show are when we’re talking about nonsense. Or something so stupid. Like there are a couple things that happened on my honeymoon that are ridiculous. It’s really about the minutiae, so there’s always going to be nonsense in my life.”
In other NYC news, Jill Zarin is also denying a media report that quoted her as leaving the Real Housewives of NYC. It all started when Jill appeared on the Cooper Lawrence Radio Show last week and gave the following quote: “There are compelling reasons for me not to come back and there are compelling reasons for me to come back — I feel I was totally misrepresented. And the risk is that if I come back, it could happen again.”
Some media outlets interpreted the quote as Jill wanting to quit the show, Popeater is however reporting that Jill has no plans on quitting, and that Bravo has yet to decide who will be returning for the all new season of the NYC Housewives.

Nene and Greg trying to work it out?
Post from DimeWars.
Reality starlet, Nene Leakes is currently fighting off rumors that herself and Greg Leakes are headed down the path to divorce-ville. Ever since her 'friend' Kim Zolciak - also from the Real Housewives of Atlanta show on Bravo - revealed that Nene Leakes was cheating on her husband with NFL star, Charles Grant, things have been.... let's say rocky, for the couple. Things got even more dicey when Nene Leakes was seen in public not wearing her wedding ring, and then Greg Leakes was tricked into admitting his divorce from Nene on the radio (he didn't know he was being recorded). Ouch!
Recently, however, the couple was seen giggling with each other in New Orleans at the Essence music festival. Although, Nene Leakes didn't have her wedding ring on, she had the next best thing - her husband!

Michaele Salahi whites out her apology request to the White House
Post from Politico.com.
By PATRICK GAVIN
Michaele Salahi is featured in the latest issue of Us Weekly, in advance of her upcoming gig on Bravo's "Real Housewives of D.C." She posted an image of the mini-mini-profile on her Facebook page, but there was something missing: In the middle of the single-paragraph story, there's something whited out.
So what's missing?: "She said she wants an apology from the White House."
In an interview posted on Radaronline.com in May, both Michaele and her husband, Tareq, said that “it would be nice if somebody apologized" to them for how they were treated after the state dinner scandal last year. But on the "Today" show later that month, the couple said that they didn't mean the White House. "I want some sort of an apology by the media for the way they treated us. Or by members of Congress for calling us things before we ever had a chance to even go to Congress," Tareq Salahi said.

Blonde vs. Brunette
Post from Gretchen's blog.
The Blonde Vs. Brunette event in Miami last week was so much fun! I almost didnt catch my plane to make it to the event and I am soooo happy I did! I had the beautiful and talented Elisabetta Fantone paint me as part of her "Iconic Blondes" set of paintings. Rik Rak salon was beautiful and every one was so kind and generous while I was out there. It was also the unveiling of my make-up line to the Maimi Beach woman and everyone seemed to come back with rave reviews!
I made friends that night that I will probably have for the rest of my life. We went out afterwards with a group and had one of the best dinners at Zuma www.zumarestaurant.com restaurant in Miami! I am so honored that the famous Elisabetta Fantone (she was commisioned to paint the Kardashians for their store in Maimi as well) wanted to paint me as part of her Iconic Blonde collection. The painting was beautiful and the colors match my bedroom perfectly!
I stayed at the Mondrian hotel in Miami and had the most fabulous time, the views were to die for and the pool was like a little piece of heaven.
All together the event was a hit! Well worth the trip! Thanks to everyone at www.Couptessa.com Rik Rack Salon www.rikrak.com , BrPr Group and Elisabetta who made my tirp so much fun!

Juicy Joe being investigated by the IRS
Article from the NY Post about more financial woes for Joe and Teresa.
By MELISSA KLEIN
They're real frauds.
The hubby of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice forged a former business partner's signature on a mortgage document in order to take out another loan and pocket $1 million, court papers charge.
What Joe Giudice did with the 2007 windfall is anyone's guess. The couple declared bankruptcy in October, claiming they were nearly $11 million in debt.
Joe Mastropole, who owned property with Joe Giudice, gave him a $586,000 loan secured by three East Orange, NJ, buildings. Giudice paid back only $300,000 with the balance due in December 2007.
But Giudice forged Mastropole's name on a June 2007 document saying the mortgage was paid, Mastropole charges in a lawsuit. The witnesses to Mastropole's supposed signature were two of Giudice's employees, court papers say.
Mastropole won an Oct. 23, 2009, judgment in his case, which is now in dispute because the Giudices filed for bankruptcy just days later. They left a trail of debt, including money owed on mortgages and to department stores and a fertility clinic.
The Giudices' bankruptcy lawyer, James Kridel, admitted that Giudice signed the document, but said he
did so with Mastropole's permission.
Mastropole called that "a lie."
Others have questioned whether the big-spending Giudices -- who owned three homes and drove a Cadillac Escalade and a Maserati -- are really broke.
"I think that Joe had numerous assets," said Bob Kaslander, co-owner of Excelsior Lumber in Butler, NJ, who was stiffed $91,266. "I don't think they're bankrupt."
The IRS is currently investigating Joe Giudice's business interests, which included a stone and stucco company.
After The Post reported on the bankruptcy last month, Teresa Giudice blamed the action on the economic downturn and said the filing afforded the couple a "fresh start."

Kelsey was done with his marriage to Camille
Small blurb from TMZ about why the marriage ended.
by TMZ Staff
Sources tell TMZ ... Kelsey Grammer made it clear to his wife ... he didn't want to be married anymore, and his actions on Father's Day pushed Camille over the line.
TMZ broke the story ... Camille Grammer filed for divorce yesterday, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ ... the 13-year marriage started crumbling when Kelsey moved to New York earlier this year to star in "La Cage Aux Folles" on Broadway.
Camille stayed with their two kids in L.A. and flew back and forth to visit him, but sources say it became apparent "Kelsey loved New York, his friends and his freedom more than his marriage."
We're told the tipping point for Camille was Father's Day, when Kelsey was 2,475 air miles away from his family and didn't call his kids.
As one source said, "She doesn't know what Kelsey is doing in New York, but he's made it pretty clear he wants nothing to do with marriage anymore," adding, "She didn't see it coming."

Jeana-RHOOC getting her own show?
Post from Absurd to Sublime about Jeana and Alexis.
by:admin
This item about Alexis Bellino is on an OC Moms website. After searching through Bravo Public Relations and anywhere else there could be information, this is posted nowhere. With the sixth season of Orange County Housewives currently in production, featuring the return of Jeana Keough, this may be self-promotion. Excerpt from the article:
Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise is big business as former OC Housewife, Jeana Keough (who has a new reality weight loss show premiering on Bravo in September), knows well. But whether it’s conducive to keeping a marriage strong is another story. “I know it was very hard on my family the first couple of years,” she says. “They got caught saying things they regretted and I know the show was hard on my marriage. Having troubled times air on TV cost my husband his job.” Since it was Keough who introduced Alexis to the producers of RHOC, we asked Keough how she thinks the newest housewife is handling family life in the fish bowl. “Well, she has three little kids so it’s difficult. But when her husband told her to keep her voice down because people were staring at her, a lot of women wanted to jump through the TV and slap him. When you’re trying to control three little kids all day you forget how to talk to adults sometimes. And besides,” she adds wryly, “People weren’t staring at her because of her voice.”

Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation
Orange County Court records show there has been recent movement in the case of GRETCHEN ROSSI VS. JAY PHOTOGLOU. A 24 page SLAPP Motion was filed by Photoglou on June 29th. There were an additional 449 pages filed that same day…are these related to the SLAPP motion, or are they something completely different? Jay is represented by Bryan Freedman with Freedman & Taitelman, LLP.
California’s statute defines a SLAPP suit as: a lawsuit brought primarily to chill the valid exercise of the constitutional rights of freedom of speech and petition for the redress of grievances.
The Law Office of James J. Moneer, who does not represent either party, has a primary emphasis in handling SLAPP motions and appeals. In The POWER of SLAPP, he explains “8 Reasons to take SLAPP very seriously.” Definitely worth the read!
WOW!

Danielle Staub tells her kids to watch what they say on the RHONJ
Post from Hollywood Life.
Chloe Melas and reporting by Toby Millstein
Danielle Staub wants her kids to censor themselves on TV! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star who is famous for being the Franklin Lakes villain wants her two daughters, Christine, 16 and Jillian, 12, to be very careful when they’re taped for Bravo’s hit series!
“I try to tell them whatever is going on is going to be filmed,” says Danielle. “Always try to remember that you might not like something that you’re going to say … you can’t take it back.”
Danielle speaks from a “been there done that” perspective. She’s now the star of her own sex tape with a mystery man, and in a possible bi-sexual relationship with music producer Lori Michaels.
“I say this in life too, once it hits the air you can’t take it back … so you have to think,” she says.
As for her sex tape drama she tells us she’s not too worried about the fact that it’s about to come out!
“I just stay really positive and I don’t think too much about it,” admits Danielle. “Would I ever consider doing something like this again, even for fun? Nah! But you learn your lessons and you don’t turn them into mistakes for other people.”

Jewish Journal critiques Bethenny
Post from the Jewish Journal about BGM.

I can’t quite seem to pick a side on this chick, or her show. One minute I love her, and then I think she is annoying. In one scene I truly think we could be friends, then in the next her voice is so shrill and aggravating, that I think I could be around her for long.
Bethenny’s fans are hardcore, and this blog will ruffle some feathers. Her peeps will say she is perfect, and I’m a bitch, but whatever. The funny and charming Bethenny may simply not be consistent enough for me to care about her or her show, past this season.
This week starts off with Bethenny doing a bottle signing in New Jersey for her Skinny Girl Margarita. Sidebar: Remember when Jill came to St. John, and Bethenny did an impersonation of her? Bethenny has the exact same nasally whining voice when she walks into the store.
Bethenny is annoying at the liquor store. Her beating up on Max is getting old. He’s a cute kid, he’s clearly not good at his job and trying to be famous, but he’s young and trying, so we’ll cut him some slack. That said, he’s not even remotely interesting and we need to move on.
It’s time for Bethenny’s bridal shower. She is getting her hair done, and her stylist is there. Remember when Bethenny was normal? Before she accused Jill of becoming too wrapped up in the hype of the show, and before she needed to pay someone to pick out her clothes?
Perhaps Bethenny was so quick to separate from Jill, because she saw all the things she was about to become, and couldn’t handle it. I like Bethenny, but she is just too much. She accuses Jill of not seeing herself like others do, and I think she suffers from the same ailment.
Bethenny can’t find a dress that fits, and she is screaming at her friend. She is being mean, and once again whining about how busy she is. Nobody put a gun to her head and told her to do everything so quickly. I think she did it so she would have things to complain about.
So she finally finds something to wear. Let me just say it was a most unfortunate dress, and one that a pregnant woman should never wear. It was not a dress, but more like a shirt, and she looked ridiculous. It was far to short, and simply not attractive or appropriate.
Bethenny is trying too hard. She flings the one-liners, which by the way are hilarious. Her tampon line about the length of her dress was really funny. We know she can be funny, but she is becoming a caricature. She is not creating a brand, so much as creating a character.
The show feels orchestrated. It’s like she is staring in a sit-com, not a reality show. This is the most scripted non-scripted show on television. I wonder what it’s like for Jill to see Bethenny’s show, not be a part of it, and watch Bethenny be all the things that she told Jill were bad.
Wedding planner Shawn is off to get the cake. Bethenny is complaining about how much she has to do, yet she is unable to release any control. She is exhausted not because she is seven and a half months pregnant, but because she does not turn her brain, or control panel off. Ever.
Bethenny and Jason are home. She is planning the wedding, he is preoccupied with basketball on TV. It’s these honest moments, where she loses her mind, where we see that maybe, at the core of who she is, Bethenny is a celebrity whore and this is her doing, not Jason’s.
She says she wanted a small wedding, and the over the top stuff is because Jason and his family wanted it. Really? His small town parents wanted the Four Seasons? She is screaming at Jason, saying she is known for having things perfect. Bethenny, like Jill, has bought into her own hype.
Jason hits it out of the park when he says she is approaching the wedding like a business. Jason is frustrated. She won’t allow his parents to bring their own camera to the wedding. Really? Is she worried they will sell a pic to the tabloids? This week, Bethenny is back to being a bitch.
Bethenny is with Shawn, and complaining about Jason. On camera. She is confiding and spewing, trying to explain herself, but I’m not really buying it. Why is she having this conversation with the wedding planner, and not with her therapist?
They get their wedding license, and meet with the wedding officiant. Jason says he wants to include the memory of his brother Bryan, who passed away. It’s lovely. The officiant asks questions about their families, and Bethenny says she has no family coming, and gets upset.
Jason takes control of the meeting, they ask the woman to leave, and Bethenny has a little meltdown. It is as these moments, that you cannot help but love this girl, love Jason, and love them together. If Bethenny could just stop being “Bethenny” all the time, it would be great.
Her childhood was bad, her life it complicated, she is pregnant and hormonal. We feel for her, and are happy she found this wonderful man, and is having a baby. She has got to get a grip on her celebrity though. She is heading to Jill Zarinland and needs to be careful.
Bethenny is at the therapist, and it’s all about her rough childhood. Again. It’s the rehearsal dinner. Jason is cute, his family is cute, and I’m happy for all of them. She gives him a painting that he loves as a wedding gift. It’s touching to see how touched he is by the gift.
Next week will be the wedding, and I think it will be fabulous. Here’s the bottom line, while it may not be clear, I really do like this girl. She is smart, funny, beautiful and driven. I admire her for what she has accomplished both personally, and professionally.
I go back and forth on this show. I watch it, like it, but am constantly surprised by her hypocrisy. She has become all the things that she accused Jill of at the reunion. She is not doing anything for this wedding without a camera on her, which she says is why she lost respect for Jill.
At the end of the day, she deserves to be happy. I hope she finds peace, comes to terms with her celebrity, gives her child the life she never had herself, builds a wonderful life with Jason, and somewhere along the way, is able to be friends with Jill again.
Bethenny got married, had a baby, launched her brand, and got all the things she dreamed of, but was not sure she could have. She is an inspiration to women. The big question is, is she able to be Bethenny, without being obsessed about being “Bethenny”? I’m keeping the faith.

Post from Buzz Sugar.
Bethenny Frankel made a name for herself as the witty, straight-talking member of The Real Housewives of New York City, and her frank personality got her her own show, Bethenny Getting Married?, which is currently airing on Bravo. She jumped on the phone today to chat with some reporters about her new life with a baby, husband, and her reality series.
On whether she's ever wished she hadn't done something in front of the cameras:
Bethenny Frankel: No. It's who I am and I'm never going to edit myself or not do something . . . everything that happens on the show, my life really is. That's the one good relationship that I really do have with my fans: the honesty. If someone asks me if I'm pregnant, then I say "yes I am" if I am. That's the thing I really take pride in, is telling the truth. It is what it is.
On whether she'd rather do a new season of Real Housewives or her own show if given the choice:
BF: I do have the choice, and I won't be doing any more Housewives.
To hear more from Bethenny about the other housewives and whether we can expect a second season, just read more.
On whether there will be a second season of Bethenny Getting Married?:
BF: We haven't discussed it yet, but I imagine that there will be.
On what the title for season two might be:
BF: That's a great question. I don't know; I made a joke: "Bethenny Getting Arrested."
On whether the cameras interfered on her wedding day:
BF: It actually wasn't intrusive, and that's the thing the guests said; a lot of the times you have a videographer. No one was bothering anyone; it was like a fly on the wall. Especially on a wedding day, you would not even know there were cameras there. I was concerned about it, don't get me wrong.
On the pros and cons of begin married to Jason:
BF: There are so many pros; the man was in the hospital with me for six days from the minute my water broke to when I had the baby, that's the kind of person he is. He's there and a total partner. I have to say, I don't think there's any cons to being married to him.
On her relationship with the other Real Housewives Alex and Ramona:
BF: They're in my repertoire of friends, we email each other, see each other once in a while; it's all very clean. It just is.
On why she thinks Jill has turned her animosity toward Alex:
BF: I'm the one who had the baby and all that stuff, so you can't be mean to the pregnant girl, so I guess she had to find someone new to have an issue with. Alex is the wrong one [to target], I have to say — there's nothing underhanded about her at all.
On whether she'll be less snarky now that's proclaimed herself to be more mellow postbaby:
BF: Definitely not. If anything, there's more material. . . I'm still a lunatic, nothing to worry about. Don't fret.
