Kelly's NY Fashion Week Blog

Post from PAPERMAG.

Kelly Bensimon's Fashion Week Diary Part II: Getting Creative at the Gap
By Kelly Bensimon

Kelly Bensimon, whom you might know from a little television show called The Real Housewives of New York, is a model, writer, party circuit fixture and general lady-about-town. Who better, then, to cover the goings on in NYC during Fashion Week for PAPERMAG? Here, Kelly tells us about where she shopped for her Fashion Week outfits.

Us.com filmed me at the Gap to pick out some looks to wear to Mercedes Benz Fashion week. Yes, the Gap. I know you're probably wondering how the Gap fits into Fashion Week. Aren't I supposed to be decked in the latest and greatest trends on the runway? It turns out you can find looks similar to those at the Gap. Who knew? I went for a leather jacket with layers of tees and a button down with skinny jeans ala Michael Kors, and jeggings and a plaid shirt paired with a news boy looked sexy and cool ala Marc Jacobs grunge collection. All paired with hunter green patent stilettos and I'm now Fashion Week ready. It's not where you shop, its what you look for. Channel a desinger or icon, and getting dressed can be a lot more fun than just wearing clothes.

Ashley-RHONJ Splits With Boyfriend

Post from Radar Online.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Ashley Holmes has split from her boyfriend, Derek Vance, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The 19-year-old daughter of Housewife Jacqueline Laurita Tweeted the news to a friend, admitting they were on "a break."

"Ummm...we're just taking some time apart right now." she wrote on the social networking site, when asked if her romance had come to an end.
"But who knows what the future holds..he's an amazing guy..and I love him."

Holmes broke the news Sunday and an angry Vance reciprocated two hours after her post.

"Stop saying stuff like this on twitter. Come on," wrote Vance, before deleting his Twitter page.
Holmes made a name for herself on the show by assaulting co-star Danielle Staub, 45.

She was ordered by a court to pay $189 for ripping out one of Staub's hair extensions during a fight at a benefit at the New Jersey Country Club.

The RHONJ Talk To Wendy Williams

Post from Absurd To Sublime.

Edited to add: Caroline Manzo’s birthdate is August 23, 1959. Meaning all the well meaning twitter friends and commenters are wrong, and so am I.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey looked good on the Wendy Williams Show. The 25 lb. weight loss of Caroline Manzo didn’t do her face any justice, but at age 55, it’s either face or body. Lauren Manzo and Ashley Holmes were in the audience. Wendy brings up Kim Granatell, briefly, all answers are guarded. Ashley is allowed to speak, won’t answer questions about Danielle Staub stalking, so Wendy turns to Caroline, who claims she found out on the day of reunion show. Wendy shows tape of Teresa’s reunion part 1 tantrum. . Teresa still claims its about Melissa Gorga’s child , to which Wendy implies it was quite an over reaction. Teresa won’t talk about bankruptcy.
After the commercial, they play a game, “Who Knows New Jersey” with Wendy and Teresa against Jacqueline and Caroline. The game ends in a tie, Wendy gives them all pageant sashes and crowns, Jacqueline is funny as she imitates the walk and wave of a pageant winner. That’s it.

Whether you'll want to see "My Big Gay Italian Wedding" or not may depend on how you react to the title.

Feel like a bawdy, big-haired romp? Well, come on down. Don't care if it's a bit derivative? You've come to the right place. Mind enough stereotypes to make an Italian-American anti-defamation activist weep? Hop over to St. Luke's Theatre.

"My Big Gay Italian Wedding" is a comedy that's got beefcake and an over-the-top wedding planner, pouffy bridesmaid dresses and hyperventilating parents, boisterous dancing, a licentious Catholic priest, a hip-hop version of "Ave Maria" and heaps of fa-bu-lous voguing. What were you expecting?

And yet, deep down, it's got heart. This off-Broadway production is really just a big, sloppy same-sex smooch, wrapped in a gooey cannoli.

It works because it winks at the very people it lovingly mocks. And, judging from the audience's reaction at a recent performance, no offense was taken; roars of laughter greeted even the lamest joke.
The original production, which first debuted in 2003, was written by Anthony J. Wilkinson, who also stars. He has since revised the comedy's script, bringing it up to date on the current debate about same-sex marriages.

But while there are a few digs at anti-gay marriage advocates such as Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee, this isn't a politically strident or preachy work. The only on-stage anguish is about getting everyone to the altar on time.

The 16-character play opens with Anthony (Wilkinson) informing his parents he wants to marry his boyfriend Andrew (Daniel Robinson).

"I want to be committed in the eyes of God," Anthony tells his parents.

"Oh, you should be committed all right," his mother shoots back.

Anthony's Italian-Catholic parents agree only on two conditions:
The family priest must perform the ceremony, and Andrew's estranged mother must attend the ceremony. Both will be tough to pull off, especially with a secret affair threatening to ruin the special day. Cue the shenanigans.

Much of this will be familiar: There are echoes of "Tony n' Tina's Wedding" with a dash of "La Cage aux Folles" and, of course, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," the smash 2002 film. The show recently got a little verisimilitude when Dina Manzo, a former cast member of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," signed on as a producer. Manzo's fellow "Housewives" — Teresa Giudice, Ashley Holmes, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo and Lauren Manzo — will appear in the production Sept. 1-4.

Standout performers include Brett Douglas, as the insanely fussy wedding planner, who seems to single-handedly lift the show whenever he appears; Tricia Burns as Anthony's squeaky-voiced sister; Randi Kaplan and Joe Scanio as Anthony's parents; and the quite appealing Wilkinson.

Some of the best bits occur when the cast interacts with the audience. One night, Kaplan spied someone in the crowd her character deemed underdressed: "You wore shorts to my son's wedding?" she roared. "I'll get you a 20 percent discount at Macy's!"

Teresa A. Cicala directs this frantic confection and choreographer J. Austin Eyer keeps the action percolating on an impossibly small stage. And when it's all over — uneven, goofy and yet sweet, just like a real wedding — the two grooms meet you at the exit and thank you for coming.

RHONJ Recap/Review 8-9-10

Article from NJ.com.

By: Vicki Hyman
Former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast member Dina Manzo told me last year that when she signed on for the show, she thought it would focus on her and her nutty friends and family, including sister Caroline Manzo, sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita and pal Teresa Giudice. "It would have been a hysterical show," she said. "It would have been very Jersey, but not as dark, not too catty." Well, tonight we got a taste of what that show would have been like, as they all (except Dina, who left the show mid-season) traveled to Italy for what is made out to be a spur-of-the-moment trip to get away from it all.
Photo: Bravo

But it's impossible to gauge whether we would have liked that show knowing what we know now -- mainly that Teresa and Joe Giudice filed for bankruptcy in the middle of filming the second season but apparently didn't let that get in the way of their lavish entertaining, high-end clothes shopping (too bad for Teresa the Venice branch of Channel's, er, Chanel was closed), or luxury vacations. It also doesn't help that Joe tries to explain away his drunk driving arrest in tonight's episode by saying that he was stone cold sober when he crashed his car, and only afterwards downed several slugs of Scotch while waiting for the cops. Also not aiding their cause: Chris Laurita, who otherwise had been a fairly stand-up guy, telling Joe that Danielle Staub must be solely responsible for all the drama of the past few months because Danielle has no family or friends. See?!? I did, however, enjoy the bit of tension developing between Caroline and Teresa (well, tension on the part of Caroline toward Teresa, because Teresa's so oblivious she probably had no idea) when Teresa dumps her three girls on with Caroline and Al for babysitting.

Let's get this over with: The show opens with news of Joe's arrest for drunk driving in Montville. Joe says he hit a pole because he was falling asleep at the wheel. He managed to extricate himself from the car and tells Jacqueline and Chris that he only started drinking after he saw the extent of the crash. Jacqueline says that they were with Joe that night, and vouched for his abstinence.

Meanwhile, Danielle and Danny Provenzano meet at the Oakland Diner, where Danny says he "heard" that Teresa's husband was arrested for DUI. Yeah, like this is news to Danielle. "Why are you out 'til 2 a.m.," she rails, "as a grown man and a father, drinking. I know strip clubs are open at that hour, so let's just call it like it is." That's making kind of a big leap there, but Danielle does know a thing or two about strip clubs.

"It's a miracle that Joe got himself out of the car," Teresa says. "It was an unfortunate situation." And Teresa knows a thing or two about unfortunate situations.
Caroline, Jacqueline and Teresa (who just picked up a darling new leather jacket) meet for lunch, and Teresa announces that they just need to get away. What a good idea, the other ladies agree. Hmm, where shall they go? How about Italy, Caroline says, trying hard for casual but landing on monotone. What a good idea, the other ladies agree. Long, completely orchestrated story short, they all go, including their parents and all the young kids. Jacqueline and Teresa get drunk one night on the trip, and the next night, Jacqueline feels awful and stays in her room. Teresa has planned a special birthday dinner for 4-year-old Milania, who wails, "I didn't wanna get an eat party." But it's not about you, birthday girl! Milania falls asleep at the party and starts crying when Teresa wakes her up to blow out the candles on her cake. Caroline looks disgusted. Caroline-Teresa feud, please! Everyone says how happy they are to see Jacqueline back to her carefree self after all the Danielle nonsense. Next week: On to Naples and more profligate spending.

Danielle Appalled By Nasty Tweet

Post from Hollywood Life.

By: Chloe Melas
A new feud between ex-BFFs, Danielle Staub and Jacqueline Laurita, involving a tweet that went horribly wrong!

Danielle Staub wants to set the record straight! The mom of two spoke with HollywoodLife.com after learning she was in the center of another Real Housewives of New Jersey scandal. Danielle, 48, is in new feud with Jacqueline Laurita and her 19-year-old daughter Ashley Holmes — but this time it doesn’t involve ripping out a handful of hair extensions.

On July 30, a person with the Twitter username “PrinceEdwiin” tweeted at Danielle that it was his birthday and he wanted “Ashley Holmes to kill herself and videotape it.”

Danielle tweeted back at PrinceEdwiin, saying: “happy birthday. May every wish come true!”

Now Jacqueline is enraged and says that Danielle was insinuating and wishing harm upon her daughter — but Danielle tells HollywoodLife.com that is simply not the case.

“I don’t read everything when people tweet at me,” Danielle tells us exclusively. “I try to answer every tweet positively. I have 33,000 followers and sometimes I barely read what is said. I never tweeted that Ashley should kill herself! I would never wish death upon Ashley! I can’t stand the fact it has gotten this far.”

Danielle was incredibly upset as she told us that, as a survivor of domestic violence herself, she would never joke about something this horrible — especially when it comes to taking one’s own life.

“I have never tweeted anything negative about my cast or their children, not once,” Danielle tells us. “Why would I? Never can anyone show I’ve said anything in a negative way about the cast.”

But Danielle is confused about one thing: “PrinceEdwiin” is not a Twitter follower of hers and this was the first time he has ever reached out to her.

“He doesn’t even follow me,” she says. “It might seem far fetched but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s one of [the housewives] with an imposter account. Could this be someone who was trying to set me up? Could it be one of them?”

Danielle revealed that she had no idea as to what transpired over Twitter until she went on her Facebook page.

“I was getting absolutely attacked!” she says. “When it was brought to my attention I was appalled. This has gone way too far! Stop accusing me of things that would never happen! Don’t pretend you know me. I don’t write negative things on any of my networks! I just don’t do it.”

The author of The Naked Truth wants her fans to know she cares about them, but unfortunately you might not hear from Danielle for a while.

“As a result of this I am now not going to be able to answer everyone who tweets me because it can be twisted into something sadistic,” she says.

Danielle's Twitter Follower Wishes Ashley Dead

Post from Crushable.com

By: Erin Carlson
Photo: Bravo
Danielle Staub has hit an all-time low. In a report of a creepy Twitter exchange given exclusively to Crushable by Life & Style, Danielle replied with glee to a fellow tweeter’s wish to see rival Ashley Holmes commit suicide.

“No matter what happened between Danielle and Ashley, Danielle is the adult,” an insider close to Ashley’s mom Jacqueline Laurita tells Life & Style. “She’s a mother. What if someone said something like that about her kids? How would she react then?”

Remember: Ashley is 19. She hates Danielle, who no longer speaks to Jaqueline, her castmate on The Real Housewives Of New Jersey. And Danielle – an adult with two kids (and a sex tape) – took the drama too far by continuing an inappropriate relationship with Ashley, who had been taunting her via text.

Now! For the offending tweets, scouted by Life & Style. On July 30 a 21-year-old model, actor and prolific Twitterer named Edwin Orocho – or @PriinceEdwiin – tweeted at Danielle: “ItsMyBDAYToday AndIWant @_ashleyholmes 2 kill herself & videotape so I can sit back, relax, & share the popcorn w/ @DanielleStaub.”

Minutes later, Danielle responded with this:

Sweet! Shouldn’t Ashley be the one with the bodyguard.

Ashley's-RHONJ Bravo Blog

Ashley's Blog from Bravo.

Legal Action
Ashley talks about picking up her summons, and reflects on how she's learned from her mistakes.
Ashley Holmes
Hey everyone! I'm going to say now, this blog is going to be a little boring I think. I'm soo tired right now. I don't feel like saying too much.

OK, where do I begin? How cute is the Giudice family? I love them. I loved it when Gabriella told Joe that he should buy Teresa flowers and chocolates for their anniversary. SO PRECIOUS! They are all mini-Teresas! They are Daddy's girls for sure. P.S. Who else is super jealous of the ring Teresa got?

Jillian, I doubt you are reading this, but I just wanted to tell you way to go hun! You did such a good job, and you don't need to worry about anyone "judging" or "not liking" you. Forget them if they do. You're talented and young, the world is yours for the taking. Keep it up! xo.

How many of you felt bad for Jillian in that scene of her with her mom? Isn't Danielle scary? I felt so bad for Jillian, she looked like she needed a hug. I'm glad Danielle isn't my mother. I hope her kids realize what kind of person their mother is before it's too late for them. Christine is beautiful, and Jillian is talented. Neither daughter inherited those traits from their mother. They don't need her, they have their dad and step mom. I hope they get away as fast as they can. That's just my opinion though. I am definitely praying for them.

I love my cousins. They're so funny, especially when they are together. The way they play off of each other is so great. I loved watching the scene in the gym. I felt so bad for Albie! HAHA! But it was a funny scene.

As for the sweet sixteen scene, WOW, so much I could say about this and their prior scene together. However, I'm not even going to get into it. If people haven't caught on by now that Danielle is a pathological liar, they're probably just as "lost" as she is. That's all I have to say about that.

In the scene where I went to pick up my summons with my mom, there's no need to tell me, I KNOW I LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT. I blame some of it on editing, the rest was just me being immature. I wasn't excited for court, obviously. I didn't even remember saying that, HA! To quote my Aunt Caroline's blog:

"As reality show participants we have the unique opportunity to view ourselves from the outside looking in. I'm hoping that Ashley will look at her behavior along with her attitude towards Jacqueline and make a conscious effort to move in a positive direction."

Caroline is absolutely correct. Since we last filmed, I have grown a lot as a person. I still make mistakes along the way, but I definitely learn from them. Every time I watch an episode, I grow even more. As my aunt said, we can view ourselves from the outside looking in, and I have seen a lot that I need to improve. Most of it I already knew, but it's just another reminder of things I needed to and still need to change. I am young, but I am not a kid. I am going to be 20 in a few months. I am not going to use my age as a crutch for how I acted and have been acting. I know it was wrong to pull Danielle's hair. I am sorry for how it happened, but I do not regret it. Everything happens for a reason. I do not like Danielle, I have plenty of good reasons not to. I don't like her, and I never will. That doesn't mean that I didn't learn from the experience. I don't need to like her and forgive her for all she has done in order to learn something from all this. If you all still think that I'm a bitch for not feeling sorry for her that night, then fine. I tell things like they are, not how they should be. I'm not about being fake. I'm not going to sit here and say, "I wish her the best, I am so sorry, blah, blah, blah," like SOMEONE else does. To be honest, I don't wish her well. I just hope karma catches up with her one day. I have been trying to not talk about her, and for the most part I haven't. What some people have to realize is #1. I have people asking me questions about her, and the show, and I'm not going to ignore people's questions. #2. Seeing these episodes rehash a lot of angry feelings I have towards her and writing my blog and on commenting on my Twitter and Facebook is my way of venting. #3. Danielle is STILL currently trying to mess with my life. So, sorry if you have a problem with it. I do have a life besides being "obsessed" with Danielle. HA! I have a job. I go to school. I just recently started an internship in the city. I have another internship in the city coming up in the fall. I am looking into getting an apartment. Things are going REALLY well for me right now! I spend most of my free time with my boyfriend Derek, (we have been happily together for a year and three months now) and my amazing friends. I spend the rest of my free time with my wonderful family. I really am blessed, and I have been working hard to not let any negativity get me down. I am happy with how things in my life are going. I see a bright future for myself.

I think I covered pretty much everything. If I didn't, I'm sorry! It's currently 3 a.m., and I had a long day in the city today! Which reminds me, thank you to everyone that I met in the city today (7/27) at the Maroon 5 concert! Your support and kind words mean so much to me, you have no idea! THANK YOU ALL!

If this is your first time reading my blog, I just want to kindly ask you to please support 'To Write Love On Her Arms' and spread the word about them. It really is such a great organization. You can check out their website and find out more about them at: http://www.twloha.com/

Until next time,

xoxo, Ashley

Ashley-RHONJ Nose Job

Post and Pics from Reality Tea.

It seems Ashley Holmes, 19-year-old star of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, is joining the ranks of Bravo reality stars who have had some form of plastic surgery, as Ashley got a nose job just weeks ago.

After posting some new pictures of Ashley this weekend during which we pointed out she looked a tad different, some of our awesome readers pointed out in the comments section that Ashley did indeed get some plastic surgery.

A look at Ashley’s facebook page shows a picture of the bandaged up reality star after getting her nose job (that picture is posted below). When asked by her fans, and yes she has fans (26, 650 fans to be exact), why she got a nose job, Ashley gave the following hollywood answer, saying her rhinoplasty was done for her “septum and sinus problems.”

“it was actually for my septum and sinus problems.. while they were in there they smoothed a tiny bump i actually still kind of have it haha,” was actually Ashley’s full reply on June 10.

One has to wonder if her nose was the only thing she had done as she looks much different from before, and as much as we hate to say it or even think it, she does look much prettier no? Not that there was anything wrong with the way she looked before, but here’s to hoping Ashley stops here and doesn’t get any more changes done to her face or body.

Below are more photos of Ashley plus a photo of her with dad Matt Holmes, who also happens to be Jacqueline Laurita’s ex-husband.

Ashley-RHONJ Blogs about Fight Night

By:Ashley Holmes
First I want to start by saying that I read Teresa's blog from this episode and I would just like quote her, "Jacqueline said in her blog last week, we're supposed to blog about what happened when the episode aired, why it happened, what we were feeling at THAT time. It's part of the gig. Do I wish I never had to talk about/think about/write about/see Danielle ever again? Of course! But I agreed to be on the show and I think it's a cop-out and not fair to the fans to write fake blogs every week or refuse to talk about a cast member." I couldn't have said it more perfectly. Now, that being said, how do I even begin to write about this episode?

This is going to be a long one, where do I begin? Hmm, I guess I can start with, where did I go? Well, after the lovely starring contest we all had, I was ready to go home. I went there to model for Kim, and I did my job. Once Danielle and I started exchanging looks, and after hearing what her and her groupies were saying about me, I decided it was probably best for me to leave. I wanted to remove myself from the situation. I went into the dressing room to start gathering my things and to help clean up a little before I said my goodbyes. I got my things together, and then went into the production room to give my mic back. While I was taking my mic off I was watching the monitors. I saw my mom and Teresa sitting in the hallway on one monitor, and then I saw Danielle and Kim G enter the hallway on another monitor. They then began to exchange words.

This episode starts with the continuing argument between my mother, Teresa and Danielle. What a mess. I honestly don't think that Teresa's intention was to start trouble. Knowing Teresa for as long as I have, I think she honestly just wanted to say hi. CLEARLY that plan was not fully thought through. Even if Teresa imagined she'd have any sort of altercation with Danielle, I can assure you all that she did not expect it to go as far as it did. Anyway, back to me in the production room. We were all on edge watching the monitors, and my adrenaline was already pumping from nerves. All of the sudden they all headed into the main room where the show was, AND ALL FOUR OF THE MONITORS went static. I then heard what sounded like a table, or a few glasses getting knocked over, and people screaming and yelling outside of the doors. There was chaos in the production room too. I left the production room to find out what happened. When I entered the hallway I saw Danielle running outside with Teresa following quickly behind her, with a crowd of random women trying to watch all the commotion. At this point my heart was beating so hard in my chest, and I couldn't find my mom. Someone had said to me, "I think Danielle hit your mom." My stomach was in knots. I then went outside to look for Danielle to yell at her. A few of my friends were trying to talk me down from an anxiety attack. I thought that someone had harmed my mother. What would you do in that situation? I didn't snap just because I thought something happened to my mom. Danielle had been messing with my family for over a year, and that recently she had even begun to purposely push my buttons. So imagine all of that, plus thinking she hit my mother?! I literally blacked out from all of the adrenaline. I didn't even think to try to find my mother to make sure she was OK first. I did not see my mom before I pulled Danielle's hair. Otherwise I would have asked my mom IF Danielle had hit her, and if she was OK first. If you paid attention to the scene of me right before I pulled Danielle's hair, you see me just observing the situation outside. The camera zoomed in on my face and if it looked like I was terrified and about to throw up, it's because I was. So all of those factors led me to act on impulse. I AM NOT MAKING EXCUSES FOR MYSELF. I am simply telling it like it is. Do I hate Danielle? YES. Is that the sole reason that I felt like pulling her hair? NO. Like I said, I blacked out from the adrenaline. I was acting on impulse. I don't just go around pulling the hair of people that I don't like. If I did that, I would be in jail by now.

Danielle is the first person to ever make me get to this point. I have never had such rage and anger inside of me. She is the first person to really make me boil over. Was I wrong by pulling her hair? ABSOLUTELY. Did I have good intentions behind my actions? YES, I was defending my mother. Danielle is very calculated, and she has a way of bringing out THE ABSOLUTE WORST in people. Was it all Danielle that night? Of course not, at the end of the night, it was MY decision to lay a hand on her. I acted without thinking. I paid my dues, and I learned my lesson. I'm allowed to still not like Danielle, and TRUST ME I have my reasons. However, that does not mean I didn't learn a lesson. At the end of the day I let myself get to that point, and I now know that it is NEVER OK to lay a hand on another human being. Maybe I should take some anger management classes? Hmm...

Right after the tug, I had a bunch of people coming up to me asking what I did, and at this point I was STILL mid-anxiety attack, surrounded by chaos. I wasn't "bragging" that I pulled her hair, I was simply just answering my friends' questions, and I was still angry and flustered. I was saying to my friends that I pulled Danielle's hair out of her head, because I did pull it, I know I loosened it. HOWEVER, I DID NOT PULL A CLUMP OR "CLUMPS" OUT OF HER HAIR, as she reported to the police. Don't you think that I would have had at least SOME of that hair in my possession? If I pulled out that much of her hair, why would she have it and not me? Also, who else finds it weird that she saved her nasty hair? Ew. My mom came outside shortly after and told me to go back inside. I did as she said, but when I came back outside I saw my mom down by Danielle's car, so I went to see if she was OK and I hugged her. She was REALLY mad at me and started yelling at me to go home, and was calling me a child, etc. I got REALLY upset because I had just had an anxiety attack thinking that Danielle had hit my mom. At the time I believed I was defending my mom. So it just hurt that she was yelling at me, which is what prompted the comments I made to my mother. Did my mom have reason to be mad at me? Of course. However, I think she still should have seen where I was coming from that night.

Do I think that Danielle wanted what happened that night to happen? ABSOLUTELY. Like my Aunt Caroline said, she got exactly what she wanted. She wanted to show everyone 'SEE THOSE MEAN GIRLS?! LOOK! I TOLD YOU.' She even said to Kim G. in the car three times, "I told you this was going to happen." Why Danielle? Did you go there with ill-intentions? Danielle said a million times that she wanted to leave, and she wanted someone to get her out of there. Well, who was stopping her?

And the Academy Award goes to ... (not). I didn't buy Danielle's fake tears for a second. Notice how Danielle was oh so upset and "crying" so hard, but when Kim G. went to go talk to my mom, notice how Danielle's tone totally changed as she said to Harry, "Don't let Kim hit her." Hmm, why is that Danielle? Maybe because if Kim hit my mom, then you wouldn't have really been able to build much of a case? Hmm *cough*calculated move*cough*. I'd also like to point out the part where Danielle called MY mother a "skanky ho." REALLY?! Ha! I hope that was a joke. Seriously, who does she think she is?! Whatever.

When I went to say goodbye to Teresa and 'the Kims' you could clearly see that I was still upset. When I responded to Kim G. saying, "GOOD, love and light," (about Danielle's hair being in pieces) notice my face and listen to the tone of my voice. I didn't literally mean good, like WOO HOO! You could tell that I was just fed up with everything and everyone at that point. I was just sooo done. Even when I was talking to the cops I couldn't believe what was happening. I should have expected that the cops would get involved, but I guess that's what happens when you ACT before you THINK. I also would like to state that I was honest with the police from the beginning, but there were many lies on the police report from Danielle. Just sayin'.

Danielle said that we're on a mission to get her or something. No hunnie. IF ANYONE has been on a mission, it has been Danielle trying screw with our lives. FAIL. She's a miserable woman. Her reasoning behind press charges is ridiculous. "Bad behavior needs consequences." Yeah, I guess SHE would know. Her whole conversation with Danny, I mean really? Danny would be back in jail? What a great guy. You know Danielle, if you would like to "stay in the positive," you might want to start by hanging around the right people. OH and another thing, stop talking about how we dug up your past. We didn't dig it up, it came to us, and you know damn well that it's things that you HAVE DONE/ARE DOING to us in the present. Seriously? Will you EVER change? Danielle is living in a make-believe world in her head. It's actually really sad. Danielle, you said an apology is in order? Yeah, we know, we're waiting.

Danielle's conversation with Kim made me laugh. I could comment a lot on this, but I'll try to keep it short, this blog is long enough. Bottom line is that Danielle is full of shit.

I laughed so hard at the scene of my mom playing games on her phone while Danielle's "spiritual advisor" tried to help. I think my mom is such a ham. I love her so much! Haha! Nerd.

The episode ended with me fighting with my parents. Obviously I was still upset about everything that went down. I was still feeling hurt that my mom didn't even take into consideration that I thought that I was defending her. She didn't even see where I was coming from that night. I was frustrated. When I said, "I can do whatever I want to Danielle," I didn't mean it that way. What I meant was that if I make the decision to do something, I'll do it, but that doesn’t make allowed, or legal, or the right thing to do. I was just trying to say that I'm old enough to make my own choices. It just came out wrong. I totally see where my parents were coming from of course. They clearly stated that they didn't condone my behavior that night. I wasn't expecting them to support my actions, I just wanted them to understand what I was feeling. I know that I handled myself badly AGAIN, and I know that I was disrespectful to my parents AGAIN, but keep in mind this was filmed months ago, and since then I have grown a lot, and I'm still growing. I'm only 19, I have time to correct my flaws. I am not proud of this episode at all. I am not happy with the way I looked at all. I have definitely learned a lesson from all of this. You learn and grow with each choice you make. I have a headache from all of the drama, I just want the chaos to stop. Just sayin'.

To quote Andy Warhol, "In the future, everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes." To quote Drake, "My fifteen minutes started an hour ago." Haha! So, while I have the opportunity to reach the public I just want to bring attention to a few organizations that I love, mainly, (if you haven't checked it out already) the organization, 'To Write Love On Her Arms.' It really is such a great cause and the staff members are so kind. I'm planning to have a benefit for them as soon as possible. I think I'll aim for sometime in fall, we'll see! Stay on top of my updates about that, or just about my every day life on my Facebook or Twitter (@_ashleyholmes). I love you all sooo much! Your support through all of this has been so overwhelming and much appreciated! As for the haters, keep on hatin' if it makes YOU happy!

Until next time,
xoxo Ashley

Danielle sees herself in Ashley

Article from People, Danielle comments on Ashley and Teresa's kids. I am not really buying Danielle's love and light act, she is still a wackadoo.

In January, Jacqueline Laurita‘s daughter Ashley Holmes was found guilty of assaulting costar Danielle Staub, following a hair-pulling incident that will play out on the July 12 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Now, Staub says she can relate to her costar’s daughter, who’s also been in verbal fights with her mom on the show.

“I was there at one point in my life,” Staub told PEOPLE at Target’s Party for Good event. “I can see in her a lot of what I was headed towards.”

On the show’s first season, scandalous details of Staub’s past were revealed, including her arrest in 1986, when she was charged as an accessory in a kidnap and ransom plot.
Though Laurita tried to stand up for Staub on the explosive season 1 finale, the women were no longer friends when season 2 began. Since then Staub, 46, and Holmes, 19, began a Facebook feud on a recent episode and a trailer teases there’s more drama to come, including the incident that led to the teen’s assault charge.

“Hopefully she’s at that crossroads where she’ll take the high road and she’ll make the right choices,” Staub said.

She added that she prays that all the children of The Real Housewives of New Jersey won’t go down the road that she followed when she was young. (Laurita also has two sons Nicholas, 1, and CJ, 7; Caroline Manzo has three children Albie, 24; Lauren, 22; and Christopher, 21; Teresa Giudice has four daughters Gia, 9, Gabriella, 5, Milania, 4, and Adriana, born last September).

“I’d hate to see any of their children make the decisions I made that were wrong at such an early age in their life,” Staub said. “It’ll change them forever.”

Danielle sorry she called Ashley a "coke whore"

Excerpt from Danielle's blog about Ashley.  This is the only mention in her blog about the Posche fashion show.

I would like to take a moment to say I am sorry for what I said about Ashley. It is never pretty to get in the mud with that kind of darkness and I shouldn't have done so. I’m not proud of that moment and I can promise I will do my very best to not do that again. I’m not going to make excuses, I’m just going to simply say, my sincere apologies.
