Lynda Chats With FANCAST

Article from FANCAST.

by Eudie Pak
When you hear the words “energy field” and “centered” within the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise, the ominous presence of Danielle Staub might flash before your petrified eyeballs! But fear not: This time they’re coming from ‘Real Housewives of DC’ Lynda Erkiletian, and her temperament is a lot more synonymous with the enigmatic ‘Love and Light’ we keep hearing about (even if her run-ins with the Salahis don’t show her at her ‘highest self’).

The 52-year-old Housewife and successful entrepreneur took some time out of her busy schedule to chat about her new venture into the vortex of reality TV, why she’s not so fond of the Salahis (but who needs an explanation, right?), how she feels about being called a cougar, and who’s the gayest Housewife.

Did you watch the season finale of the ‘Housewives of NJ’ and what do you think of your fellow east coast Housewives?
Photo: Bravo
I actually stopped watching New Jersey after the 3rd episode. I love watching it when I can laugh, but when it becomes more painful than laughter then I have to stop…there was too much meanness; it just didn’t feel right in my energy field.

I think the reunion is going to be even more intense.
Could they get any more crazier?

How are you feeling about your season so far? How do you feel about being portrayed as the Salahi instigator?
Because I try to remain in a more centered place, I try not to be the person who looks judgmental. But if you had the background that I had with [the Salahis], you’d better understand why I look that way. I look that way because I am behaving that way, and I take full responsibility for that.

Are you frustrated with how much attention the Salahis are getting on the show?
By the time we complete the nine episodes we’ll all have equal timing. As far as what [the Salahis are] getting prior to the show, I don’t think that anyone would want that kind of publicity.

I’ve read on your blog that you’ve known Michaele for 15 years and that your comments about her on the show have come from a place of concern. At what point did your friendship dissolve?
I have a very small circle of friends—I’m an extremely busy person. I met Michaele 15 years ago when she was a Trish McEvoy makeup artist. Michaele was the type of person who was always a busy bee, running around—actually more like fluttering around like a butterfly that stings like a bee—but I think that when she met her [current] husband she moved out to the country. When she did that very few people would see her.

I was never opposed to her at the time; I just saw her as an innocent sweet soul. Then I started doing business with them, and I very quickly realized that it became ‘He said/She said/We’re not responsible.’ I had too many clients complain they weren’t getting paid. Michaele continues to explain to the public why there’s this dark cloud following them and that it’s just not their fault. Well, at some point people have to take responsibility.

I wish them well. I wish that they could really get it together. I don’t respect the way they’ve handled their business in our city.

Catherine’s seemed to have ruffled a few feathers—especially Stacie’s—so far this season. As much as it seems that you really like her, do you think sometimes she crosses the line?
I think everyone gets catty eventually. I just think you have to get to know her. It’s really hard to get to know someone in three episodes. I feel very uncomfortable when I see what’s going down because I know who Cat is. What you didn’t get to see [at Stacie’s aunt’s house]…she was there early, her daughters were at home, she’s editing a book, her husband’s traveling, her babysitter had to leave—you know, a lot of things were happening. I think as time goes you’ll find Cat has a very sweet soul.

You have a great relationship with your 35-year-old boyfriend Ebong, but people have labeled you a “cougar.” How do you feel about that?
I don’t like that word. I don’t feel that there should be categories if you fall in love with someone that’s younger, older, taller, shorter—it’s like really? I think love lies within your heart, and it’s not about age, race, size. I’m so happy that [Ebong’s] 6’5; he keeps me looking up, and I get to see the blue skies more often. He’s just a really good soul.

The Housewives franchise is watched mainly for its characters getting involved in dirty catfights and meltdowns, but the majority of you on the show seem to be pretty stable characters. Do you fear that that stability translates into bland and boring and might detract fans from watching?
Well I don’t think we’re boring. I didn’t know that the Housewives were perceived as a bunch of catfighting—that’s terrible! I had hoped that Washington would be able to show substance, give people insight to DC, educate people on the many facets we represent in addition to politics—because we’re not politicians. We’re women having fun, showing how it’s possible to be mothers working, juggling. We definitely want people to laugh more than cry for sure…it remains to be seen based on the ratings.

Is Paul Wharton the unofficial sixth Housewife?
I think Paul is a Housewife. I think he spends as much time in front of the mirror as any of us. I love Paul; he adds a lot to the show. I wish Andy Cohen would consider making him the first gay Housewife of the ‘Housewives’ franchise because if we were to ever have a gay Housewife, it should be in DC!

Stacie-RHODC Talks About Cat,The Salahi's And Her Birth Mother

Article from Essence.com.

by Hillary Crosley
Last week, "Real Housewives of D.C." cast member Stacie Turner told us about her trip to Paris with her husband. While in France, they met up with the Salahis -- also known as the White House party crashers -- and the couples had a wonderful time.

This week, Stacie chatted with ESSENCE.com about discovering her birth mother, the Salahis, and Catherine "Cat" Ommanney calling herself a racist...

ESSENCE.com: Why did you share such a personal story with Michaele Salahi in Paris about finding your adoptive parents?
STACIE TURNER: We were in Paris with a number of family and friends and I felt comfortable sharing it with Michaele. While in Paris, I saw a different side of her than the other ladies have.

ESSENCE.com: After finding your mother, you realized that your birth was a secret?
TURNER: This search has occurred over a period of eight years, because I wasn't focused on it and needed some medical history. I ended up locating my birth mother and corresponded with her -- the reality is that she has a whole different life now. She's never shared with anyone that she had a child, that's a secret. I contacted her and I have no interest in divulging her secret but I also have the expectation that she would share with me who my birth father is and any information about where I come from. She was unwilling to do that, likely out of fear of her being found out.

ESSENCE.com: Were you hurt that your mother withheld information about your father?
TURNER: I totally took it personally. On one hand, I couldn't be more appreciative that she gave me up for adoption which allowed me to have a better life. But given that it's 40 years later, she should be willing to share some information about my birth father. In this week's episode, I find out that he doesn't even know that I exist. That made me more interested in finding him so we can both decide if we want to have a relationship. A person has the right to know if they have a child or not.

ESSENCE.com: Are you comfortable sharing such a personal struggle with the "Real Housewives of D.C." cameras?
TURNER: I don't have any negative feelings about being adopted, I think it's the most selfless thing that a mother can do and the most loving thing another family could do. My search for my birth parents was something real and was happening at the time of taping. There's no way I could do a reality show about me and not show something that's taking up the lion's share of my time.

ESSENCE.com: During the dinner for Ted the hair stylist, Lynda made a comment about the Supremes and your friend Erika wasn't impressed. What happened?
TURNER: There's always some racial comment being made at these dinners. I think that the ladies are sometimes insensitive about these things. Why, when we talk about integrating salons or the Supremes, do we have to start talking like, 'yeah, girlfriend.

ESSENCE.com: Why does the word "racist" keep popping up with Cat?
TURNER: No one has ever called her racist, she's come up with that on her own. Why are you self-proclaiming yourself a racist if you're not? I'm really sick of it because it's just so silly. However, what was interesting to me was her use of the word "colored." She's British so I don't think that she understands that people would think that that was offensive, but she would if she knew the history around that word and how people fought not to be called that.

ESSENCE.com: What do you think about the Salahis not paying for Paul's party?
TURNER: Oh, that was crazy! I was shocked. That was just so inappropriate, horrible and tacky. Here is where all these conflicting stories pop up about Michaele. If I look at how she has treated Jason and I in Paris, then I hear about her not paying for Paul's party, I start to wonder, who are these people?

ESSENCE.com: What can we expect this week?
TURNER: This week we go to the Oasis winery, owned by Michaele and Tariq, for a grape stomp. It's funny because you can tell that back in its day the winery was a sophisticated operation. It just clearly hasn't been functioning for a couple of years and as a result it's showing neglect. So we're coming to have a grape stomp, but there aren't any grapes on the vine

Salahi's EFN Lounge Event Raised Nothing For Charity

Post from the Washington Blade.

By:Joey DiGuglielmo
A party for “Real Housewives of D.C.” held at the now-closed EFN Lounge on Aug. 5 with show stars Tareq and Michaele Salahi raised no money for an AIDS charity.

Ads for the event said an unspecified portion of the proceeds would be given to Dab the AIDS Bear Project, an organization that, according to its founder, works in collaboration with the Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network, a registered 501c3 organization.

The Blade could not independently confirm the connection between the two organizations before deadline, but Dab Garner, founder and CEO of Dab the AIDS Bear Project said Howard Cromwell, a gay Washingtonian who publishes D.C.’s Most Fabulous Magazine, told him that the event, was not successful and therefore no donation would be made.

Cromwell, who asked that questions about the event be submitted via e-mail and then did not respond, told Garner in an e-mail dated Aug. 12 that he couldn’t send any money to the charity because the event was not profitable.

“The goal was to donate 40 percent of the profit to each organization,” Cromwell wrote in the e-mail, which Garner shared with the Blade. “Unfortunately, we did not pull a profit from this event as expected. We barely broke even. Even though this event wasn’t financially successful for the charity organizations involved, we feel that it was still a huge success media-wise shedding a national spotlight on your organization.”

Garner said he sent teddy bears for the housewives to pose with for publicity shots at the party, but Michaele Salahi was the only cast member to attend. Other cast members attended a separate and official premiere party for the show.

Cromwell, Garner said, forgot to bring the teddy bears to the party and hasn’t returned them. Garner uses the teddy bears to promote his charity.

Garner, a 29-year HIV survivor, met Cromwell last year at an AIDS Drug Assistance Program Summit in Washington and said Cromwell approached his organization about being a benefactor of the “Housewives” party.

Other groups appear to have also been jilted. The New York Post reported that Honor & Remember was to receive 40 percent of the profits from Cromwell’s event, but also was told the event made no money so no donation would be given. Staff at Honor & Remember did not respond to the Blade’s requests for comment.

Tickets for Cromwell’s party ranged from $25 to $500. Press that attended described EFN Lounge as somewhat full downstairs, but not packed.

Bill Gray, who was manager of EFN Lounge at the time of the event and on scene that night, said the event seemed chaotic.

“They comped most of the tickets for press and their friends,” he said. “It seemed like a joke.”

Danielle Talks To Billy Bush

Post from Access Hollywood.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Danielle Staub says the upcoming reunion show on Bravo will be filled with shocking moments and shamed co-stars – one of whom she refers to as a “bull breathing through her nose.”

Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush spoke to Danielle on Wednesday and the controversial “Housewife” said her co-stars went to great lengths to gang up on her during the two-part special.

“You’ll notice every time I say something that’s true I get attacked for that, or I get screamed at, or I get called a name or I get chased, or you know?… someone’s pulling at me,” she told Billy. “When I speak the truth, people don’t like it, so what they try to do in numbers is talk over me, or chase and pull at me, or point the finger at me.”

Danielle said she doesn’t bother attempting to make sense of co-star Teresa Giudice, who she said looked like “a bull breathing through her nose” during one moment in reunion preview clips released by Bravo earlier this week.

“I’m not even gonna attempt to guess what goes on in her mind, but what I do know is when I state the truth… that’s when they attack me,” she continued, saying the reunion will delight diehard “Housewives” fans. “You’re gonna be shocked, you’re gonna see people shamed and then they’re gonna leave you wanting more of me.”

According to Danielle, Teresa would knock down world leaders in order to go after her.

“Teresa doesn’t have any boundaries. She’ll shove anybody, she’d shove the President if she could, to get at me,” Danielle said. “I don’t know what it is with her, but she definitely has no boundaries and they call me crazy. Whatever.”

As for the surprise item that Danielle is seen revealing during the promos for the reunion, she remained mum on what it actually was, but cleared up who it’s not.

“Theresa was sitting on the couch already, so it wasn’t an animal,” Danielle joked with Billy, when he asked if it was a pet that she takes out of the bag. “Watch and see!”

Part one of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion airs on Monday at 10 PM on Bravo, with the second part airing the following week.

Kim's Ex Impressed By LuAnn

Post from Crushable.

By: Erin Carlson
Kim Zolciak’s ex-girlfriend Tracy Young has a crush on Countess LuAnn. In a report given exclusively to Crushable by Life & Style, the magazine’s Scene Queens spotted the deejay hitting on the Real Housewife after she performed her new song, “Chic C’est La Vie,” at a party on Fire Island, N.Y.
“Even though the Countess was there with her boyfriend Jacques Azoulay, Tracy went straight for LuAnn and said to her: ‘OMG you are so beautiful in person,’” an eyewitness tells the Scene Queens. “LuAnn wanted to get away as fast as she could.”

No doubt the Countess – whose motto is “Money Can’t Buy You Class” – made a graceful exit. Perhaps she was trying to avoid the rumors she’s bi-curious and has had flings with other women. Or more likely, she had no interest in meeting a woman who had once dated Kim, the Atlanta edition’s resident villainess and answer to Danielle Staub (who’s also bi-curious).

Post from Radar Online.

It's a different type of reunion and this time no tables or punches were thrown.

Photo:Splash News/Wire Image
Real Housewives stars Danielle Staub (New Jersey), Ramona Singer (New York) and NeNe Leakes (Atlanta) gathered together Thursday on The Maury Povich Show, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

"There was no drama… all the ladies were cool with each other and had a really good time," one source tells RadarOnline.com.
And rumors of bitterness between Danielle and Ramona were squelched as the two chatted on and off set.

"Danielle and Ramona were chummy together and were chit-chatting a lot. You know, having girl talk. Ramona and NeNe both told Danielle how much they liked her song,” the source told us.

The ladies, armed with style and beauty advice, were on the show to help makeover four regular NYC housewives.
Now that the taping is over, Danielle has an important date in Los Angeles for another reunion – with her ex-husband.

He has slapped her with a $5-million defamation lawsuit and Staub is scheduled to be in a mediation hearing Friday morning in Orange County.

Bethenny And Bryn

Bethenny’s favorite family activity to do with her baby and hubby are ‘bathies’&sing-a-alongs! How cute!

Bubble time is the best time for new mommy and Bethenny Getting Married? star Bethenny Frankel and her daughter Bryn Hoppy, born on May 8! “I like baths,” Bethenny gushed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the Drugstore.com Breakfast event in the Renaissance Hotel’s R Lounge in NYC on Aug. 25. “We call it ‘bathies.’ She takes a bath with me and Jason Hoppy [Bethenny's hubby] does the washing while I’m in the tub with her. We do swimmies and stuff. [Jason] is very involved!”

Bryn has “no bath toys yet,” Bethenny added. “I just hold her and we do a little swimming in the bath. I love it!”

We bet this fun family time is one of the events that’s helped Bryn to reach her latest milestone. “Bryn is giggling a lot,” Bethenny said of her daughter’s most recent achievement. “I sing with her. We sing a lot, like we do a full concert with Pink, Beyoncé and Rihanna. She sings back. It’s really cute. And she likes ‘Umbrella’ by Rihanna!”
How cute!

Here are Bethenny’s ESSENTIAL Diaper Bag MUST HAVES:
  • A+D Oitment (for Diaper Rash)
  • Charmin Flushable Baby Wipes! Bethenny admitted: “I [also] use them for myself!”
  • Pampers Diapers
  • Bottles! “I have different brands, but [I prefer] the Green to Grow bottles,” said Bethenny.
  • Muchkin Plastic Container. “There’s a little plastic container where it sections off the formula,” explained Bethenny. “It has four categories, so you can pour one out when you need to mix it with the water. It’s a simple organic formula.”

Last family summer with ally before college. @pattistanger stopped by to kiss her goodbye. So sweet!

Bethenny Flourishing With Bryn

Article from Parade.

By: Fran Carpentier
Every new mom deserves the kind of summer that Bethenny Frankel is having. Our favorite reality-show Skinny Girl, her hubby, Jason Hoppy, and their baby, Bryn, spent the season in Montauk, soaking up the sun and sand of Long Island's tony South Shore, which explains Bethenny's picture-perfect tan.

Little Bryn and the Hoppys' 5-month-old marriage are thriving. And Bravo is leaning towards renewing the hit reality show, Bethenny Getting Married? -- although word's out that the cable network is trying to come up with a new, more suitable name for the show. I suggest Frankly, Bethenny Frankel. Or Bethenny Frankel, Frankly. (Get my drift?)

Photo:Wire Image
Lovely little Bryn, who made her debut a full month early on May 8, weighing in at just 4 lb. 12 oz., has already blossomed to a healthier 9 1/2 pounds. "Bryn's a big pink baby now," Bethenny told me this morning at NYC's Renaissance Hotel, where the reality TV star was hosting a press conference for drugstore.com. "Bryn likes pink -- it's her new favorite color. She is really growing up, and it is making me upset."

Now that Bryn is 3 1/2 months old, are you able to share more experiences with her?
"We sing for an hour every day. I sing to her, and Bryn sings back. We sing Rihanna, Pink, gangsta rap.

"And I am loving using Bryn's baby wipes. They are at the top of my list of mommy must-haves. Baby wipes are great for everything! For wiping baby's butts, as an eye makeup remover, to wipe the counter, to clean my hands at the airport -- just everything. You know how when you're washing your face, you get makeup all over your white towels, then you can't get it off? That makes me crazy. So now, I use baby wipes.

"Also, I'm a bath person -- a big bath person. I take baths with Bryn - but first I take my own bath so the water is really clean.
"There's another thing, too, a product [ Munchkin Deluxe Auto/Car Bottle Warmer] that you can use to warm your baby's bottle in the car -- or keep chilled your Skinny Girl Margarita."

How's the breastfeeding going -- and your nipples?
"I'm 10% breastfeeding now. And I feel guilty about that and like a failure. I'm using powdered Similac, so I can control the water. I did buy nipple cream, but never used it. I never really had chafey, chapped nipples."

The media are reporting that you and Jason are planning another baby. True?
"Jason wants to have another baby, and I don't. So that's another problem. For now, I'm storing Bryn's baby clothes in those big Ziploc bags, which I buy at drugstore.com so I don't have to go out. I hate leaving the house! I don't like transacting with people. If I don't have to go out, I don't. I'm in pajamas all day -- in bed, in pajamas, and working. Jason says, 'Why do we need a house?'"

Jillian Michaels, take a breather. In this body improvement show, Work Out trainer Jackie Warner treads into the Biggest Loser star's territory to push eight unhappily flabby types to tone up. Teresa's Jevvelry Was Stolen Years Ago

Article from The Daily Mail.

Since declaring bankruptcy last October, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Guidice and husband Joe have had to curb their lavish spending.

And now that all their belongings are up for auction, the desperate Guidice's are claiming barely anything they own is valuable.

That includes 38-year-old Teresa's jewellery, which she insists is all fake.

Fake bling: Real Housewife Teresa Guidice claims she owns nothing but costume jewellery

According to RadarOnline, Teresa is claiming all her 'real' jewellery -apart from her wedding band - was stolen.

'My jewellery got stolen a couple years ago at our house in Lincoln Park…we had a break-in. So unfortunately, a lot of – all my jewellery got stolen there,' she says.

'It’s all costume jewellery… and if you look at what I wear, it’s all costume jewellery.'

But Teresa may just be trying to save her belongings - John Sywilok, the trustee for their bankruptcy case, has accused the pair of deliberately undervaluing items included a pool table and their wedding rings.

When asked by Sywilok how much the insurance company paid her for the loss, she said, “like 20?”'

But Sywilok wasn't having any of it.
Denial? Bankrupt Teresa Guidice insists her house is not in foreclosure

'You had a claim here much greater. It was like 120,000,' he said.

'Well, I mean, you know, when you get estimates from jewelers, they always put it for more than what it is,' Teresa said.

Sywilok also believes the Guidices are hiding profits from Teresa's book Skinny Italian, and Joe's pizzeria.

This is all a far cry from season one of show, where the Guidices and their three daughters (Teresa was pregnant with the fourth) moved into their $1.75 house and went on wild shopping sprees.

But Teresa refuses to accept that their spending habits could have contributed to the financial disaster they found themselves in, blaming it all on the economy.

Teresa insists, 'Due to the economy, most of my husband’s real estate ventures failed despite his hard work and effort.'
Photo: Bravo

Items available for purchase through the auction include a jet boat, a snow plough, a grand piano, two flat-screen TVs, decorative fireplace accessories, a faux marble chess set, a suit of armour and several chandeliers.

And the Guidice's lawyer Jim Kridelis insisting the couple are doing nothing underhanded where the value of their property is concerned.

He told People.com: 'You can’t sell used, personal property for the sticker price. A $5,000 chandelier won’t sell for $5,000. Nobody will buy a used mattress. The real issue in bankruptcy is, what’s the value of everything? And at the time of the bankruptcy, these things didn’t have any value.'

'I don’t think Teresa is happy seeing all her belongings displayed on the Internet. Clearly they are under the microscope because they are famous.'

According to court papers, the couple owe $104,000 on various store credit cards, including $20,000 to Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. There are also unpaid bills of $85,000 for home repairs and $12,000 in fertility treatments.

Their total debts (estimated at $8.7 million) far outweighed their assets (estimated at $2.2 million).

Teresa and Joe have been married for ten years and the couple have four daughters: Gia, nine, Gabriella, five, Milania, three and eight-month-old Audriana.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey had its final episode of the season on Monday night.

3.4 million total viewers tuned it, making it both the season's most-watched episode and the network's highest-rated Monday telecast to date.

Albie And Caroline Talk About Albie's Childhood

Albie Manzo: Real Son Of New Jersey
By Raina Seitel Gittlin

My guilty pleasure of the moment is Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey. With the upcoming reunion show I can’t wait to tuck my son in, set the DVR and watch the manic drama unfold as only it could with four moms from Jersey.

And “what you see is what you get” with Manzo family matriarch, Caroline. We caught up with Caroline’s son and heartthrob, Albie Manzo, to find out what his mom was really like when he was growing up.

And PS….Boy, is he cute!

Details Of Oasis Winery Police Report

Post from Radar Online.

RadarOnline.com has obtained a police report of White House ‘gatecrasher’ Tareq Salahi’s run-in with police last month – and it reveals the Real Housewives of D.C. star is embroiled in a bitter family feud all while his estranged father in is “terrible health” and in hospice care.

According to the report filed July 27, police responded to the Oasis Winery in Virginia after Tareq’s mom Corinne made a trespassing complaint against her son, reporting that her son was “changing the locks on the doors” to the winery and “possibly removing items.”

Tareq told police he was at the property changing the lock on his apartment door located above the winery.
Yet not only are the Salahis under the stress of dealing with bankruptcy proceedings for the property and winery, but Tareq’s father is in “terrible health and currently under hospice care”, Corinne told investigating police.
Photo: Bravo

She added, “I don’t have time to deal with this other stuff!”

According to the report, the reality television star “expressed concern for his father who he hasn’t seen in a while” and with his mother’s permission was able to visit with his ailing father only for a few minutes provided he was under police supervision.

And RadarOnline.com has learned this isn’t the first time cops were called to the winery.

On May 5, former manager Diane Weiss reported to police that thousands of dollars worth of wine had been stolen.

The police report stated that “unknown persons” broke into the garage storage area and took several cases -- $5580 worth -- of wine.

Police found no signs of forced entry and no good leads or suspects have developed.

One day later, Corinne called authorities to report another burglary incident that she claimed happened between May 5 and 6 by another unknown person entering the cellar storage area and taking $4800 worth of wine cases.
She told cops because the winery is in bankruptcy “nobody should be on the property.”

LuAnn Will Be Joining Lawrence Zarian On The TV Guide Network

Post from TV Guide.com.

Emmys Fashion Blog with Lawrence Zarian
What a week I have in front of me!
Before I hit the gym today — because you know I have to get my fitness on in order to get my tux on and be red carpet-ready this weekend — we have our first script read-through for TV Guide Network.

The sassy Tanika Ray, the consummate Chris Harrison and I will be going over our scripts and talking about the general way things will happen during this Sunday's Emmys pre-show, the potential clips — plus which celebs we'll be talking to on TV's biggest night and all the fashion! It's never 100 percent predictable, but that's all part of the fun of a live telecast. Even with all the prepping and planning, you never know exactly how it's all going to net out once you hit the ground running and sweating. (It's supposed to be hot — yikes!)

So, with all the talk of "surprise," how about those wins at the Creative Arts Emmys this past weekend (first-ever Emmy wins for Neil Patrick Harris and my friend, Ryan Seacrest; first-ever Emmy win for Ann-Margret for her guest spot on Law & Order: SVU; Jeff Probst for best reality host; Old Spice gets best commercial)? Do you think the same can be predicted for the actual Emmy Awards? Hmm, could be. Who knows? Personally, I would love to see Jane Lynch win for Glee, and how great is Edie Falco on Nurse Jackie and that January Jones on Mad Men is pretty amazing.

In keeping with this "unpredictability" theme, I'm consumed with who's wearing what on the Emmys red carpet on Sunday, Aug. 29. Hello, Sofia Vergara! What's up, Lea Michele? What about the sexy cast of True Blood? (Have you seen the cover of Rolling Stone. Can you say hot?!) Will it be short and flirty? Long and dramatic? Pops of color in a sea of neutrals and black? Of course, I say always go for the sparkle, people! My "fashionable" gut tells me that it's going to be a throwback to the sophisticated styles of the '60s with Mad Men-inspired looks and statements. But that's just me.

As you know, after Sunday's big night you must join me for the best "post-game" fashion commentary on TV during Monday's Emmys Red Carpet Fashion Wrap on TV Guide Network... hosted by me! I can't wait and am so honored to be hosting the show this year. It's a dream gig. By the way, this year my stylish dream team will consist of Real Housewives of New York City's Countess LuAnn de Lesseps ("mah friends!"), hairstylist to the stars Kim Vo, Project Runway alum and designer Nick Verreos and celebrity stylist to the stars Jen Rade.

Not only will my eclectic panel dish on Emmy's hottest looks, everything from hairdos and don'ts, handbags, dresses and diamonds, we'll also pick our favorite fashion hits and misses of the night. (Don't tell anyone, but my money's on Lea Michele!)

Be there Monday, Aug. 30 on TV Guide Network for the best "post-game" commentary! Do not miss the fashionable fun! Seriously. Just don't.

OK, coffee is brewed and now the most important question of the morning: What's a fashion guy to wear? Gulp. The pressure.
Stay tuned and stay stylish!

Danielle Going To Court Again

Post from TMZ.com.

Danielle Staub is in line for another epic sit-down -- this time the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star will enter the same room as her ex-husband ... to try and settle a legal war involving accusations of rape, gunplay and dog murder.

It's all over a $5 million lawsuit filed by Danielle's ex Kevin Maher -- who claims Staub slandered him when she claimed Kevin once raped her on a bed of broken glass, forced her to play Russian Roulette, and also murdered her dog.

Now, a judge has ordered both Maher and Staub to attend a mediation hearing in the hopes that they can "facilitate a resolution of the case before it goes to trial."

Maher -- the subject of the now infamous book "Cop Without a Badge" -- tells TMZ, "I will listen to the mediator ... but if the results are not fair and reasonable, I look forward to my day in court when I can call [Danielle] out on her lies."

Maher continues, "I want to be vindicated for the horrific crimes she falsely accuses me of."

The two sides are set to face off on Friday morning in Orange County, California.

Stay tuned.

Bethenny May Return To The RHONY

Post from Hollyscoop.

by: Nigel Tanner
Great news for Real Housewives of New York City fans, despite contrary reports, Bethenny Frankel IS returning for the fourth season of the hit Bravo show.

Sources close to Bethenny tell Hollyscoop exclusively, "She's been asked to return for the new season and negotiations are ongoing."

Bethenny's old bff Jill Zarin and her archenemy Kelly Bensimon will also return for some more drama. LuAnn de Lesseps, Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan are also returning for season four. And rumor has it that Bravo is also courting a "wealthy Hamptons housewife" for the new season.

Meanwhile, Bethenny's other hit show "Bethenny Getting Married?" has been renewed for a second season, because let's face it, everyone loves Bethenny.

Bethenny is the reason Real Housewives of New York City was such a success. She's the first person to call out a crazy person for acting crazy, or to make fun of herself when she does something ridiculous. All in all, Bravo was smart to convince her into another season.
