Staub's ex, Stephen Zalewski, is suing her for defamation of character and harassment after the reality star claimed on the show's "Play at Your Own Risk" episode that she didn't know he was filming their sexcapades, reported E! Online.

According to New Jersey state law, recording a person during sexual acts without his or her knowledge is illegal.

"She was standing there talking with her friends about how Steve hid cameras and recorded her with out her knowing," Zalewski's attorney, Nace Naumoski, told E!

"Any sex tape with Stephen in it was made with her bidding," the attorney added to RadarOnline.com. He added that he has emails and text messages to prove Staub knew about the tape.

"I have people come up to me in restaurants telling me I'm going to hell, I'm not a good person," Zalewski told Radar. "I try to explain to people I didn't do anything wrong. She would send me video texts of her playing with her self, I have nothing to do with that."

"Basically I want her to stop lying and ruining people's lives, she's really out of her mind, there's something wrong with her," Zalewski continued. "She plays the victim and says everyone is out to get her, but it's really the other way around."

Meanwhile, Staub is taking some legal action of her own.

After Ashley Holmes, daughter of "Housewife" Jacqueline Laurita, physically attacked Staub during last week's episode of the reality show, Staub is now suing Holmes and her table-flipping foe Teresa Giudice, according to PopEater.

Staub's attorney in the case, Paul Giblin, told Hollywood Life, "We are going to use this footage and prepare a case against these women. We are seeking assault and battery charges, defamation of character and punitive damages as well."

But Giudice isn't taking Staub's suit too seriously.

"Don't make me laugh. I think she's defamed her own reputation all by herself," she told PopEater.

Danielle-RHONJ being stalked

From Perez Hilton.com.
They must roll their eyes every time they get a phone call from her!

Danielle Staub alerted the police after Danny Aguilar, a convicted felon, called her last night demanded $100K from saving her ass from some drug dealers years back.

Aguilar says:

“My money got her out of trouble with these drug dealers. They wanted her dead and I didn’t want them to kill her. I paid for it. We all got popped, everyone went to jail and she snitched.”

Aguilar was the co-defendant when Staub was charged for extortion and intent to distribute cocaine. She agreed to a plea bargain where she would testify against Aguilar in exchange for 5 years probation and cocaine testing. As for Aguilar, he went to jail.

Danielle has been calling Aguilar "a celebrity stalker," but he begs to differ saying:

"I’m the ‘Real McCoy, I’m the one that did 15 years in a federal penitentiary over you. I’m no stalker.”

Yikes!

That Danielle is one shady lady!

Is Bethenny Smarter Than A 5th Grader?

Post from  Examiner.com.

By:Jodi Jill
Bethenny Frankel was in Los Angeles yesterday taping 'Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader'. The television personality tweeted about her adventure when she was in route to LA.

'OK On the place on my way to LA to film"are you smarter than a 5th grader?"Who has a 5th grade child? Give me some tips!

The game show is a competition between an adult and a makeshift classroom of 5th graders. While this doesn't sound like much, usually the 5th graders look smarter. How Bethenny handled the pressure is unknown as she didn't tweet what or how she did on the game show

One thing for certain, she missed her baby and after being in Los Angeles all day Sunday, she packed her bags and headed back to the Big Apple to hold the child by morning. This new mom is all about experiencing life with her child and living life to the fullest.

Jill and Ally promote Project Green Dorm

by Vivian Manning Schaffel
As the current co-president of the New York chapter of Teens Turning Green (an organization devoted to education and advocacy about environmentally and socially responsible choices for individuals, schools and communities), Ally created "Project Green Dorm" to raise teen awareness about "an all-encompassing eco lifestyle."
Ally says her organic lifestyle has a made a huge impact on how she feels -- literally and figuratively. "I felt that the things around me weren't helping my situation. [Ally struggles with arthritis.] I took all the toxic chemicals out of my food, and I haven't been in pain in a while -- I've stopped taking my medicine! I realized it's not only food, but what I put on my body and what I use every day. I feel much better all around -- it's been essential for me."

She says "greening up" a dorm room can simply come down to making educated purchasing decisions. "It's pretty amazing how accessible organic stuff is today, but no one realizes it," she says. "People usually buy what's cheapest for their dorm, but places like JCPenney have organic stuff, too!"

Ally recommends a few easy ways to "green up" your kid's dorm:

•Reuse old furniture by painting it with no-VOC paint, such as YOLO Colorhouse.
•Invest in organic sheets. Ally swears by those made by Coyuchi.
•Ally's a big fan of using biodegradable laundry detergents like Soap Nuts -- just take three, put them into a canvas bag with your dirty laundry and stick quarters into the machine!
•Check out local antique or vintage shops for furniture. (Steer clear of plastic.)
•Buy lots of plants -- they produce oxygen and help clean the air.
Ally's proud mom, Jill Zarin, says it's important to support kids with their "green" mission.
"It's just a matter of educating your teenager," she says. "You have to show them the alternatives and encourage them to make the green choice. You also should give your kid a few extra dollars, because it's more expensive to be green and organic. Part of the experience of going to college is wanting to change the world -- and hopefully, what Ally's doing will help."

Alex and Simon talk to A.M. NY

Article from AMNY.com.

Photo: Deidre Schoo

By Perrie Samotin
Brooklynites Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen often are considered two of the more levelheaded — and clothes conscious — cast members of Bravo’s reality juggernaut “The Real Housewives of New York.”

We caught up with the married couple and their two young sons, Francois and Johan, at their Cobble Hill brownstone to peek inside their closets and talk style.

On their sartorial evolution
McCord: “During Season 1, we wore our own clothes. For the most part, we’ve either donated or consigned all that, except for a few things." (Pulls out long brown and white dress). “I wore this in the Season 1 credits. Why do I still have it? 'Cause it’s a great dress.”

On working with a stylist:
McCord: “During Season 3, Simon and I did work with a stylist, Alegra Torel. I think when you have a very clear sense of style, what you want is a stylist who shares your vision and gets inside your head to create outfits that are you — as opposed to remaking you.”

On shopping:
McCord: “Typically, we shop on weekends or on vacation. We tend not to go to department stores. We like to have relationships. We like to know [shopkeepers] and have them know us. Yes, we’ve done Bloomie's and Barneys, but we have a person who we talk to. Also, Being on the show and having people recognize that we’re so into fashion has opened up the opportunity for designers that we’ve never heard of to contact us.”

On personal style:
McCord: “My style is eclectic. I can get crazy and look like I walked out of Anna Sui or Betsey Johnson but also be super-tailored and wear Armani. I love the Louis Vuitton line Marc Jacobs did, it's very clean. I’m sorry Plein Sud doesn’t sell in the states anymore. Basically, the only time we can buy it is when we're in Saint Tropez.
vanKempen: Or Paris.

On the infamous red pleather pants:
Van Kempen: “I’d bought them for a [costume] party a couple of years prior and I wore them in the season finale because the producer phoned me and said, ‘wear something crazy.’ I didn’t realize they’d make such a big splash. The thing is, wearing cheap vinyl in summer … not the best.”

On dressing to compliment each other:
McCord: “If Simon says, ‘I need a bowtie to match [my] crazy Cavalli gown, that’s when we’ll go to Paul Stewart or Turnbull and Asser.
van Kempen: When that fails, go to Mood [Fabric] or cut a pair of jeans and go to a [neighborhood dry cleaner] and say ‘make me one of these out of this."
McCord: “One time — I have a denim ball gown by Diesel, which is awesome, — the [tailor] made Simon a denim cummerbund to go with it. Just slip covered it in denim. Done.”
van Kempen: "Alex and I, we don't dress alike but we do dress to complement each other."

Danielle is good for Jersey

Post from OK magazine.

Author: Valerie Nome
Although Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub has been portrayed in an unflattering light, she doesn’t let that get her down.
“What I’ve learned about myself is to watch more carefully what I do say, and what I do,” the divorced mom of two, 47, tells me. “I try to set a good example for my children through what they’re learning when I’m living.”

Now that shows like Jersey Shore and Jerseylicious are also bringing the spotlight to the Garden State, Danielle is ready to take credit.

“It’s the Jersification of the world,” she says. “I’d like to think it started with yours truly. I brought enough to bring a lot of attention to New Jersey, and I’m going to hold it and keep it.”

What’s the biggest misconception about the state?

“The biggest misconceptions about New Jersey would be that we are filled with gossip,” she explains. “We do not mirror ourselves after the other four women on our show. It’s about being real, being good to one another and family-oriented. I think people are missing it when they think we’re all into shopping. I cook. I cook every day for my kids, and I think they’re missing it. The biggest misconception is we do not spend family time together, but we’re all about family.”

Silex talk RHONY and kids at Borders, Syosset,NY

Article from Syosset Patch.

By Amy Platt
"There's no rational explanation for the irrational," said Simon van Kempen, co-star of The Real Housewives of New York City, when asked about fellow cast mate Kelly Killoren Bensimon.

Although Bravo has recently finished airing the third season of the reality show, van Kempen and wife Alex McCord aren't done offering provocative comments. Their book tour to promote Little Kids, Big City: Tales From a Real House in New York City, came to Syosset Borders Friday night. The crowd that included men and women of all ages listened to the couple read excerpts from the book and answer questions on their relationships with cast mates and the reality of being on a reality show.

"I started writing down my experiences while I was pregnant, " McCord, mom of 6-year-old Francois and 4-year-old Johan, told the audience. "Initially it was for the kids to have [as a memoir] when they grew up."

The couple began blogging for Bravo about the show and was approached by a literary agent. After having their young boys portrayed in earlier seasons of The Real Housewives as wild and inappropriate, they received a lot of criticism from the public for writing a parenting book.

"There was an article recently in New York Magazine that was very one-sided," said McCord, "talking about how having children makes people depressed. Not everyone feels that way. There are so many dogmatic things out there that hold people to impossible standards that they can't match."

Their best parenting advice?

"Have the confidence to do what you feel is right; there's more than one way to raise a happy child," McCord said. "What works for your family isn't going to be the same as what works for someone else, and what works for one kid won't necessarily work for another. Talk to everyone, read everything and then have the confidence to fly by the seat of your pants."

Although they were happy to discuss their book, the couple fondly nicknamed "Silex" by many of their fans was also open to answering questions about the show and specific events that aired during the third season.

* When asked about cast mate LuAnn de Lesseps's single "Money Can't Buy You Class," van Kempen replied, "Auto-Tune was invented for a reason."

* McCord said Bensimon's claims that she was forced by producers to go on the trip to St. John (in celebration of cast mate Ramona Singer's vow renewal) were false.

* The couple agreed that the newest housewife, Sonja Morgan, is a great addition to the cast.

* The reason that their sons barely appeared in the third season was not a conscious effort on their part, but rather "because well-behaved kids do not make for good television."

They also confirmed that what we see on television truly is their reality as they live it, although being on the show gives a little push to the drama.

"In real life if you get mad at someone," Alex said, "you can walk away. On reality TV, you can't do that." Luckily for the producers, that inability to walk away created drama that has attracted 2.5 million viewers on a weekly basis.

McCord and van Kempen have come a long way from being portrayed during the first season as the couple who couldn't bear to be apart for even one second. This season, she gained a huge following as she came out of her shell and into her own, speaking her mind on many different occasions while evolving into a genuine and loyal friend.

Others admire the couple for the way they interact with their fans through social media. One attendee at the book signing was overheard thanking van Kempen for responding to a post that she had written on his Facebook page.

Jamie F. and her friend Laura F., both 29 and from Smithtown, are big fans of the entire Real Housewives franchise and were overjoyed to have found out about this book signing via Facebook.

"We can't not watch," Jamie said. "It's like a drug,"

Danielle Staub has another lawsuit on her hands! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is being sued by Stephen Zalewski, the man in her recent sex tape and individual who allegedly leaked the tape. Stephen’s attorney, Nase Naumoski, filed a suit in Morris County (N.J.) Superior Court, July 15, claiming Danielle has been ruining his reputation. But we spoke to one of Danielle’s attorneys, Bob Cherry, who tells HollywoodLife.com that Stephen is actually the one at fault and they will fight this in court.

“Danielle and Stephen had an agreement,” says Bob, Danielle’s attorney. “There was a confidentiality agreement and Stephen was the one who actually broke the agreement. We will respond appropriately … Stephen breached the contract.”

Meet the sixth housewife of D.C.

Post from the Washington Post.

Paul Wharton and Erika Gutierrez, co-hosts of the "Tie One On" cocktail fundraiser for MenzFit at -- hey, what's that camera guy doing? We thought the reality TV season was done for the summer! (Amy Argetsinger/The Washington Post)

By: Amy Argetsinger&Roxanne Roberts
This city may snooze in the depths of summer, but reality TV never sleeps.

During a week when our dance card had dried up, we got a last-minute invitation to a cocktail fundraiser for MenzFit, a nonprofit that gets struggling fellows into proper suits to compete in the job market. And, as with so many invitations lately, the grim warning was: "This event will be filmed for TV."

The cameras were there all right, on the rooftop of the Donovan House hotel Thursday, circling one partygoer in particular. Paul Wharton, a local stylist and occasional TV personality (VH1, CW), hasn't been highlighted in the promos for "Real Housewives of D.C.," but he's poised to emerge as the unofficial "sixth Housewife." The flat-ironed, high-cheekboned fashionista is all over the premiere, debuting next month -- cackling as Lynda Erkiletian declares Michaele Salahi to be anorexic, then telling Michaele what Lynda said. Fun! And Thursday, a camera (labeled "HYP" -- for "Housewives" producer Half Yard Productions?) rolled on around him . . .

Now wait: It's too late for the first season of D.C. "Housewives," and too soon to shoot a second season. . . . Do we smell spinoff? Will the madness never end? We pried Wharton (pinstriped skinny pants, pointy shoes) from his frenetic airkissing. "I am in the business of TV, and D.C. is the place to be these days," he told us cryptically. "I've found a great partner in Half Yard . . . and the rest you'll have to see.".

Bethenny will be co-hosting The View next Thursday, July 22, 2010.

Is Danielle-RHONJ picked on?

From The Frisky.com

Posted by: Ami Angelowicz
I’ve had a couple of days to process the “unbeweavable” episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” that aired on Monday night. In case you missed it, it came complete with name calling, hair pulling, broken boots, dirty accusations, police reports, and of course, subsequent lawsuits. But believe it or not, I’m feeling mildly sympathetic toward Danielle Staub. Maybe all of her fears about being attacked were not unfounded after all?

I’ll admit that Danielle was acting like a total a-hole during the Posche (pronounced posh) fashion show, but I expect that from her. To her credit, she didn’t try to start anything with the ladies. What I did not expect was Teresa Giudice’s lunacy. What was she doing? Trying to start a fight so she could go home to her foreclosed mansion and tell her husband about it as foreplay? That’s sick.

And Jacqueline Laurita. Shame on her. She needs to control her daughter! I’ve always thought that Jacqueline would try to keep the peace at all costs, but her attempts to restrain Teresa and Ashley were pathetic. She even seemed to be smirking. And Ashley? Oh Ashley. Have we heard any explanation as to why that girl isn’t getting dragged by the ear to college? Higher education is what she needs to be involved in, not Danielle drama. Finally, Kim (Posche’s owner) is a two-faced beyatch! I think she set this whole dirty thing up to draw business to her stupid store.

Was Danielle overreacting for effect, shaking and crying behind a bush? For sure. Does she have the police on speed dial? Probably. Is she crazy? Definitely. But the other women had a responsibility not to kick the rabid dog, and they did anyway. No matter how mad someone makes you or how crazy they may be, that doesn’t give you the right to attack them. Shame on them for thinking the incident was funny. It was not funny; it was illegal.

Phew. So what did you think?

Silex loves Montauk

Post from DelainaDixon.com

By TV Divagal
Rock the Look’s Maureen Tokeson-Martin recalls her posh weekend out in the celeb-infused Long Island getaway!

“Escaping the hustle and bustle of New York City every once in a while is a must. So last weekend, my husband and I hopped into our pick-up truck for a three hour drive to Montauk, N.Y.

Located at the northern tip of Long Island within the city of East Hampton, Montauk has the fourth oldest lighthouse in the United States and a population under 4,000. Of course, most of those just happen to be the rich and famous.

We didn’t score an invitation to Robert DeNiro’s oceanfront home in town, but we did nestle into Panoramic View for 48 hours of pure relaxation.

This exclusive resort offers studios to two-bedroom units and beach houses for rent along with luxury residences. Think VIP ocean views, crisp cream linens, hot tub! And we weren’t the only ones spotted enjoying our mini-vacay.

“The floor plans are great for families and you can chose studios or multiple bedroom units, depending on how many kids and people you have along for the ride,” The Real Housewives of New York City’s Alex McCord, who was there with her devoted hubby Simon, told us.

“It is incredibly quiet with all the amenities of Montauk just a five minute drive away. You have autonomy and privacy without a typical ever-present resort staff, but the conveniences you do want such as towel service at the beach and pool and housekeeping are provided.”

Private beaches, and famous neighbors, plus hanging with The Real Housewives. Who wouldn’t love that?

Steve is suing Danielle-RHONJ

Funny article from Chicago Now about Steve and Danielle.

By: Jenn Sale
Stumble....Get your scorecard out, let me walk you through this one...

First, Danielle took her 45 year old 26 year old boyfriend to court over a sex tape he reportedly "secretly taped" and didn't want it released. At first the injunction was successful and the judge spared us all from ever seeing that. Thanks, Judge. However bananas Danielle couldn't provide any proof to her claims, and the case was eventually dismissed.

Then the reason I now type in Braille, Danielle Staub Raw, was released at about the same time the episode "Play at Your Own Risk" was aired on Bravo. In this episode you'll remember that Danielle was crying to her new extras paid by Bravo friends that Steve violated her and taped her secretly. And we later find out that it was Danielle that taped herself doing nasty things to her naughty bits on her cell phone and sent them via text.

Ooops, just spewed my coffee...hang on a sec.

So now, Steve's all mad that Danielle called him a creeper on national TV, and is suing her for defamation. Steve boo-hoo'ed to Radar Online..

"I have people come up to me in restaurants telling me I'm going to hell, I'm not a good person. I try to explain to people I didn't do anything wrong. She would send me video texts of her playing with her self, I have nothing to do with that."

Ok, people are probably telling you you're going to hell because you tapped that demonic albatross in the first place. I wouldn't sweat it, dude. Just dip it in Purell twice daily, go to church every Sunday, and you should be fine in about 5 years.

At this point, all of this court nonsense is getting re-DONK-ulous! Kind of makes you wish for the simpler and quaint times of Jay Photoglou and Gretchen Rossi, doesn't it?

Kelly Bensimon looked better than ever when she turned up in an alice + olivia get-up at the alice + olivia M.A.C. launch party at Beauty Bar in NYC on Jul. 14 — I was dying to know what her secret is! Lately we’ve spotted the reality star jogging all over NYC, but there’s something behind her vigorous workout routine — she’s actually training five days a week for a 13 mile marathon. Kelly says when it comes to her diet, she usually follows a six day plan. “I eat healthy and then on the seventh day I eat whatever I want,” she said.

“My largest meal is lunch and then I’ll have a lighter dinner, I eat a lot of carbs at lunch,” she said. Kelly, who normally eats rice with vegetables and tofu chicken or shrimp, admits her fast metabolism definitely contributes to her trim figure and her ability to chow down!

Fresh on the heels of Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Danielle Staub’s attorney claiming he’ll seek restraining orders against cast members Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita–which should make for a rather interesting filming of the second season reunion episode, with Danielle beamed in via satellite from her bulletproof bubble located in a separate studio–the Wall Street Journal reported Teresa Giudice and hubby Joe’s “fresh start” Chapter Seven bankruptcy has hit a major roadblock. Part of the roadblock, the rather bizarre Chapter Seven bankruptcy papers Joe and Teresa filed on October 29, 2009 where Joe and Teresa claimed they owed $11 million, $7 million unsecured, with Joe and Teresa’s annual income $79,000.

According to the WSJ, the court appointed trustee is planning to auction off Teresa and Joe’s personal belongings from their Towaco, N.J. mansion on August 22nd.

A hat tip is in order for I’m Just Sayin who discovered the Wall Street article and Teresa Giudice’s entry at the site Smoking Gun.

Wall Street Journal:

Court papers show that the Bravo reality TV star and her husband, who filed for bankruptcy protection last fall, are facing a lawsuit to prevent them from taking advantage of the debt discharge available to individuals under the Bankruptcy Code. According to Chapter 7 trustee John Sywilok, tasked with rounding up the couple’s assets and distributing the proceeds to creditors, the Giudices allegedly concealed key documents about their finances and business transactions.

According to the WSJ, Sywilok accuses Joe and Teresa of hiding interests in a pizza parlor, laundromat, Teresa’s TG Fabulicious Clothing and Accessories Line and Teresa’s cookbook, The Skinny Italian. Sywilok alleges Teresa and Joe made false statements, under oath, about their assets, income, and expenses.

The site Smoking Gun posted Sywilok’s court documents.

Smoking Gun has more info including:

A court-appointed trustee has accused the bankrupt star of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” reality TV show of lying under oath about her financial condition, concealing documents, and failing to disclose her interest in several businesses. As such, Teresa Giudice (and her husband Giuseppe) should not have their case formally discharged, according to a U.S. Bankruptcy Court complaint filed by lawyer John Sywilok, who was appointed to oversee the Chapter 7 action.

According the court documents filed by the trustee, the documents were filed on are shortly after July 1, 2010.

-On October 29, 2009, Teresa and Joe (Giuseppe) Giuduce filed Chapter Seven Bankruptcy at a Federal Court.

-The Office of the United State Trustee appointed John W. Sywilok as trustee, on or around October 29.

-Sywilok’s deadline to file a complaint was originally January 29, 2010. The deadline was extended twice to July 1, 2010.

-The trustee stated Teresa and Joe had been involved in “certain litigation” prior to filing the bankruptcy petition, which according to the trustee, was the “impetus” for Teresa and Joe filing Chapter Seven.

-The trustee stated Joe and Teresa were owners or limited owners of property which were on the “eve of foreclosure”.

-The trustee noted Teresa was involved a reality show, Real Housewives of New Jersey, with an employment contract to appear on the show. Teresa received income from “appearances” and her book, Skinny Italian which was written prior to filing Chapter Seven bankruptcy.

-The trustee alleges Teresa and Joe concealed documents, records, and papers which their true financial condition or business transactions could be ascertained.

-Teresa and Joe made false oaths when filing the Chapter Seven petition which include but are not limited to income, expenses, and assets.

-Teresa and Joe failed to disclose their interest in real properties and businesses.

In short, the trustee asked the court to deny the discharge of Joe and Teresa’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition. Not a “fresh start” but a “starting over” for Joe and Teresa and their attempts to file bankruptcy.

Which leads back to the Chapter Seven bankruptcy petition filed by Teresa and Joe on October 29, 2009.
Court documents posted at the site Absurd to Sublime.

In the Chapter Seven petition Teresa and Joe stated they owed $2,582,376,83 in secured claims. An example of a secured claim is a note secured by a deed of trust or mortgage on real property

Teresa and Joe stated they owed an astounding $6,127,454.51 in unsecured claims.

Unsecured Claim
A claim or debt for which a creditor holds no special assurance of payment, unlike a mortgage or lien; a debt for which credit was extended based solely upon the creditor’s assessment of the debtor’s future ability to pay.

Teresa and Joe stated on the petition that their monthly income at the time when they filed the filed petition was $16,583.33 which included $3,250 a month in income for Joe, $3,333.33 paid to Teresa by Bravo, and $10,000 from “family members”. Included the petition Teresa and Joe’s monthly expenses, $16,582.00 which included a $12,362 house payment. According to Teresa and Joe’s monthly take home pay and expenses, Joe and Teresa were left with $1.33 after paying their expenses. Missing from the “take home pay”, any mention or income from Teresa’s appearances or income (advance book commission) from Teresa’s Skinny Italian cookbook. In businesses owned, no mention of a pizza parlor, laundromat, or Teresa’s clothing line.

On July 4th, the New York Post reported Joe’s former business partner alleges Joe engaged in forgery and that the IRS is currently investigating Joe’s business interests.

New York Post:

Joe Mastropole, who owned property with Joe Giudice, gave him a $586,000 loan secured by three East Orange, NJ, buildings. Giudice paid back only $300,000 with the balance due in December 2007.

But Giudice forged Mastropole’s name on a June 2007 document saying the mortgage was paid, Mastropole charges in a lawsuit. The witnesses to Mastropole’s supposed signature were two of Giudice’s employees, court papers say.

Mastropole won an Oct. 23, 2009, judgment in his case, which is now in dispute because the Giudices filed for bankruptcy just days later. They left a trail of debt, including money owed on mortgages and to department stores and a fertility clinic.

In the court documents the trustee stated Teresa and Joe had been involved in “certain litigation” prior to filing the bankruptcy petition, which according to the trustee, was the “impetus” for Teresa and Joe filing Chapter Seven. According to the New York Post, Teresa and Joe filed for bankruptcy six days after Matropole won his suit against Joe.

According to the WSJ, the trustee intends to auction off Teresa and Joe’s personal property on August 22nd. When you file for Chapter 7 there are personal items which you can claim as “exempt”, meaning the court will decide whether they can be auctioned them off to pay your creditors. Joe and Teresa claimed they had $24,150 in personal property including “dogs” worth $600.00. Joe’s Movado Watch worth $500, Teresa’s wedding rings worth $400 and costume jewelry the Giudice’s valued at $750.. Also included, go-carts, a lawn mower, kitchen table and chairs, tools, a swing set, clothing, televisions, den, living room, and bedroom furniture and computers. Three properties which the Giudice’s owned or had 50% ownership. In the court documents Joe and Teresa listed every single personal item including the go-carts as exempt except the three properties.

According to the WSJ, “up for grabs” at the auction:

Next month, the trustee is aiming to hold a public auction of the contents filling the family’s newly built Towaco, N.J. mansion.

Up for grabs at the Aug. 22 auction are home furnishings, accessories, tools and a boat.

I find this show painful to watch. I will go as far as to say that I am embarrassed I even watch this show. It is mortifying for the ladies, their families, their children, and themselves. Let’s start with the facts, Teresa is vile, and if I were at that party, I would have decked her.

Danielle is pathetic, and while she is out for fame, there is no way on earth that this woman is a good enough actress to have been faking her performance this week. I have not been shy about saying I think Danielle is a skank, but this week I’m on Team Danielle for the first time.

There is no point in going through the entire episode because it’s simply too gross, but let’s make a few things clear about these ladies of New Jersey. The women we loved in the beginning, the same ladies who we wanted to live next door, are now just a bunch of bitches.

Danielle: This chick is a whore. Who cares? There are worse things to be than a whore. I can be friends with a whore, however I can’t be friends with a liar, or someone who endangers her children. She is not innocent, and her history with these women is now coming into play big time.

That said, Danielle did not deserve what Teresa did to her in this weeks episode. It made me question all the times I thought she needed to be locked up, and wonder if maybe it’s really not all Danielle. That Bravo is continuing to broadcast this show is insane. At some pint should they not be decent?

Jacqueline is an idiot. She is an uneducated moron who married well. She got pregnant as a child, and how she got to where she is, I would imagine is quite similar to the path that Danielle took. She started out as the sweet one, and in the end she is simply the stupid one.

Teresa is a piece of garbage. Seriously, if someone needs to say all the time how nice and great they are, chances are it’s probably not true. The only thing more horrific than her behavior at the event, was her recounting what happened to her husband Joe.

It’s like dumb and dumber with these two. They are trash and it pisses me off they are on television. They spent money so freely, knowing they were filing bankruptcy, and that says everything we need to know about who they are. Any good thoughts about this woman are gone.

Teresa is an instigator and a bitch. She is a fur wearing, animal torturing, lying piece of white trash who happens to have money. Correction, had money. Teresa’s actions on this week’s show ended my love affair with the ladies of New Jersey. I am not watching anymore

Caroline tries to stay clean and out of the drama, but I’m not sure she can stay clean for much longer. She may not be in the fire, but is fanning the flames from the sidelines and like she says, if you hang around with garbage long enough, you start to stink. Hey Caroline, you stink.

I am not going to watch these chicks anymore. I will tune in for the reunion show because that will be interesting, but my weekly participation has come to an end. I have nothing to say to these women but to their children, you’ll all make it out okay if you keep the faith

Teresa Guidice brings in the fans at Borders Books in Fairfield

Article from the Fairfield Patch.

By Nancy DePalma
If you're not familiar with the Bravo reality TV series, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," then you might as well be living under a rock. At least that's the way it seemed Thursday night at the Post Road Borders, which was bursting at the seams with "Housewives' " fans. Teresa Giudice, the spunky Italian known for her table tossing, was in town signing copies of her new book "Skinny Italian." The book, a cookbook featuring healthy versions of Italian recipes, also dishes out a few juicy tidbits from the show and her "real" life along with the family recipes.

The one thing that wasn't skinny? The crowd, which Borders staff estimated at about 300 to 400 people. Craig Kennedy, a Borders' employee, said he "lost count after 300." Another employee seemed surprised by the crowd, mentioning that Jill Zarin from the "Real Housewives of New York City" didn't draw nearly the numbers Giudice did.

It was clear from Thursday's event that fans of the show love, love, love (Teresa's catch phrase) Giudice. Though the signing was scheduled for 7 p.m., fans began lining up at 5:30 p.m. From "She's so tiny" to "She's so nice," fans of all ages were squealing with delight after meeting Giudice. While the event drew a large number of female fans, men were also in attendance. One in particular, Stan Tobin, came with his wife Jennifer and their daughter Caroline.

"She's my favorite on the show, " said Caroline, who was turned on to it by her father. Stan was surprised to see so many people in attendance but said there was just "something about Teresa" that draws people. While the Tobins planned to purchase the book they, like many others, were disappointed to learn that the store's copies were sold out by 5:30 p.m. "It looks like a good book," said Jennifer Tobin, who is both Italian and from New Jersey like Giudice.

The Fairfield signing marked the first time Giudice had been in Connecticut. She even tweeted during the signing to say how much she loved it here. Her assistant, Robyn Polay, was delighted with the turnout but wasn't surprised. "Teresa finds a way to connect with everyone and people love her," she said.

While Thursday's signing is Giudice's only Connecticut appearance, she will be signing again through the weekend in her home state of New Jersey in addition to events at restaurants and boutiques in the tri-state area. For information on her appearances, visit www.entertainmellc.com

Will Kelly and Bethenny bond over being moms

From Digital Spy.

By Lara Martin
Real Housewives Of New York City star Kelly Bensimon has reportedly said that she is happy she and co-star Bethenny Frankel have something to bond over.

The reality star has two children with ex-husband Gilles Bensimon, while Frankel gave birth to daughter Bryn in May.

Speaking to E! Online, she said: "We haven't been in touch, because we're not filming anymore but her value system has changed.

"I can be sensationalistic on camera, but my children are the most important things to me. So I'm happy that now we have something to bond over."

Bensimon added that she is still deciding whether to return for another season of Housewives, explaining: "The deciding factor is really just being able to celebrate these women - I don't want to fight with people.

"That's really like the big deciding factor, if it's going to be authentic. If it's not authentic, I don't want to be a part of that."

Jewish Journal not a BGM fan

Article from the Jewish Journal.

Let me begin this blog by saying that I think Bethenny Frankel is mortifying, and should no longer be on television. I watched her wedding, and wished her well, but seriously people, this chick is out of control. If you love her, just don’t read it. It’s probably best.

I’m not saying anything about her wedding because it was her special day, and good for her. The peeing in a bucket, whoring herself to the paparazzi, being rude to her new husband, self-absorbed outbreaks, and overall nastiness will not be commented on by me.

We arrive in St. Barts with Bethenny and Jason for their honeymoon. God forbid this chick does anything in private, so here we go. Her voice is grating in my nerves and I can’t help but think that the piecing screech of Jill would be welcome right now, if got Bethenny to shut up.

They decide to take a swim and Bethenny strips down and jumps in naked. How is it possible that Jason was annoyed she would walk around in a thong in front of Max, but she can strip down in front of a cameraman and skinny dip? This show screams, “watch us! we’re fake!”.

Bethenny is complaining about how ugly she is, and Jason is being charming. He calls her Mamma, which is sweet. You forget for a minute that he is a celebrity whore just like her. Sidebar: A reader of mine wrote to say he has already moved out of the house. Interesting.

An animal of some kind has wondered into their room and pooped on the floor. She is freaked out and thinks she might puke. Really? Wait until your baby starts projectile vomiting while having diarrhea. This chick needs a reality check and I’m not sure she can handle it.

Jason is waxing her stomach and all I want to do it shut off the television. This chick is out of control and nothing reads authentic about her. She is an annoying caricature and incredibly rude to her husband. I think he’ll be out of there pretty fast, or he’ll stay and be miserable.

They are talking about babies and have no clue. They are incredibly unprepared for what their lives will become. You can love your baby more that anything on the planet, but that does not make it any easier. Raising kids is hard, and it gets harder with every year.

Jason is taking a wind surfing lesson and Bethenny has another fake cry episode. She is a poser. I don’t buy it when she cries. She is always complaining about how hard her life was. Blah, blah, blah. I think Bethenny has created stories in her head, which she now believes.

Question: If Bethenny’s mother is so horrible, why isn’t she talking smack about Bethenny for money? It makes no sense. Perhaps her mother is mortified by her daughter, and wants nothing to do with her? Maybe Mommy Dearest is more classy than trashy.

We are now going to spend forever watching Bethenny and Jason eat. For ten minutes, we are watching them eat, with nothing to really say to each other, and both of them so aware of the camera that you half expect them to turn to the cameraman and offer him a taste.

They are at their last dinner in St. Barts and I’m bored. It’s the same thing over and over because they have nothing to talk about. The entire time, Jason talked about how he wants to be involved. Cut to New York and Bethenny is doing everything for the baby’s room without Jason.

She selects every single piece of furniture for the baby’s room, without Jason. This chick is just not cool, or interesting, or nice. I think that is the bottom line with Bethenny. She is simply not nice. She is selfish and garish and I really hope there is not a follow up to this show.

We’re now back in therapy listening to Bethenny complaining. Does she think she is the only woman to have a baby? Get married? Have issues with her parents? She’s a loon who lives in Bethennyville where the only thing that matters is Bethenny, which is not that cute.

It’s yet another naked photo shoot with Bethenny. I’m going to go fold some laundry and make a cup of tea. I’ll be back in a minute. Okay good. Bethenny is at a doctor’s appointment and surprise, surprise she decided to let Jason go too! So sweet. Whatever.

Next week the baby comes. It will be interesting to see how she makes the birth of the little girl all about her, and not at all about Jason or the baby. She tells Jason the baby’s room is apple green and he is surprised. It’s sad that he finds out she did it all without him, in front of us.

I wonder if Bethenny’s mother was at her first wedding. I’ve gotten emails from people who know Bethenny from childhood and think she is full of crap. We’ll never really know and it’s okay

Bethenny's pregnancy fitness tips

Article from US magazine.

By Jeri Condit
Why does it seem that stars drop the baby weight so quickly after giving birth? Their secret is that most of them stay fit while expecting. (While putting on 28 to 40 pounds is healthy, many of us admittedly go overboard.) Linda Melone, nutritionist and certified fitness instructor, says women can bounce back to their pre-baby bodies quicker if they follow a simple, low-impact routine that includes yoga, stretching and water workouts. Bonus benefit: Exercising while pregnant can prevent gestational diabetes, alleviate lower-back pain and even lessen the "baby blues," according to The American College of Sports Medicine. Read on for details:

1. Yoga
Real Housewives of New York's Bethenny Frankel alternated yoga sessions with 45-minute walks three times a week while pregnant with daughter Bryn (born May 8). Just three weeks later, she showed off her size-4 bikini bod in Us Weekly! Melone recommends taking these precautions before launching into downward dog:

• Abstain from Bikram ("hot" yoga), which raises the body's core temperature above the recommended 102 degrees.
• Avoid any poses lying on your back after the first trimester or any extreme stretching.
• Since your center of gravity changes as the baby grows, use caution with balancing moves -- use a wall or other support to avoid falling.
• Twist from the shoulders vs. the abdomen and only go as far as comfortable.
• In general, safe moves include the Cobra (first trimester only), side bends, triangle, cat-cow, triangle pose and avoid backbends, hand/headstands, one-legged balance poses without support. MSN: 5 surprising ways yoga affects your health

2. Stretching
"Many women experience sciatica [nerve pain] during the third trimester and are unable to do much more than stretch, which helps ease the pain," points out Melone. But, she warns, use caution with extreme stretching because relaxin, a hormone produced during pregnancy, makes muscles more pliable than usual; stretch only within your pre-pregnancy range-of-motion. MSN: How to stay motivated to workout while pregnant!

3. Water Workouts
Pregnancy often puts pressure on joints and internal organs, but the buoyancy and support of water can provide relief for sciatica. As with all workouts during pregnancy, work within your comfort zone, avoid extremes such as swimming an exorbitant number of laps, stay hydrated and avoid becoming overheated. MSN: 10 things that might surprise you about being pregnant

4. Don't Start a New Activity When Pregnant
"If you're a runner, you can keep running if you're comfortable. But you typically don't want to start a running program or jump into a new vigorous activity at this time," says Melone. "The American College of Sports Medicine recommends cardiovascular exercise three to seven days a week for 30 to 40 minutes at a moderate intensity, with no extremes in intensity." Melone also says not to be worried if your stamina decreases. "The amount of exercise a [pregnant] woman can do varies depending on the trimester," she says. While some women find only stretching comfortable, others "continue their pre-pregnancy program up until labor without a hitch."

Ashley-RHONJ Blogs about Fight Night

By:Ashley Holmes
First I want to start by saying that I read Teresa's blog from this episode and I would just like quote her, "Jacqueline said in her blog last week, we're supposed to blog about what happened when the episode aired, why it happened, what we were feeling at THAT time. It's part of the gig. Do I wish I never had to talk about/think about/write about/see Danielle ever again? Of course! But I agreed to be on the show and I think it's a cop-out and not fair to the fans to write fake blogs every week or refuse to talk about a cast member." I couldn't have said it more perfectly. Now, that being said, how do I even begin to write about this episode?

This is going to be a long one, where do I begin? Hmm, I guess I can start with, where did I go? Well, after the lovely starring contest we all had, I was ready to go home. I went there to model for Kim, and I did my job. Once Danielle and I started exchanging looks, and after hearing what her and her groupies were saying about me, I decided it was probably best for me to leave. I wanted to remove myself from the situation. I went into the dressing room to start gathering my things and to help clean up a little before I said my goodbyes. I got my things together, and then went into the production room to give my mic back. While I was taking my mic off I was watching the monitors. I saw my mom and Teresa sitting in the hallway on one monitor, and then I saw Danielle and Kim G enter the hallway on another monitor. They then began to exchange words.

This episode starts with the continuing argument between my mother, Teresa and Danielle. What a mess. I honestly don't think that Teresa's intention was to start trouble. Knowing Teresa for as long as I have, I think she honestly just wanted to say hi. CLEARLY that plan was not fully thought through. Even if Teresa imagined she'd have any sort of altercation with Danielle, I can assure you all that she did not expect it to go as far as it did. Anyway, back to me in the production room. We were all on edge watching the monitors, and my adrenaline was already pumping from nerves. All of the sudden they all headed into the main room where the show was, AND ALL FOUR OF THE MONITORS went static. I then heard what sounded like a table, or a few glasses getting knocked over, and people screaming and yelling outside of the doors. There was chaos in the production room too. I left the production room to find out what happened. When I entered the hallway I saw Danielle running outside with Teresa following quickly behind her, with a crowd of random women trying to watch all the commotion. At this point my heart was beating so hard in my chest, and I couldn't find my mom. Someone had said to me, "I think Danielle hit your mom." My stomach was in knots. I then went outside to look for Danielle to yell at her. A few of my friends were trying to talk me down from an anxiety attack. I thought that someone had harmed my mother. What would you do in that situation? I didn't snap just because I thought something happened to my mom. Danielle had been messing with my family for over a year, and that recently she had even begun to purposely push my buttons. So imagine all of that, plus thinking she hit my mother?! I literally blacked out from all of the adrenaline. I didn't even think to try to find my mother to make sure she was OK first. I did not see my mom before I pulled Danielle's hair. Otherwise I would have asked my mom IF Danielle had hit her, and if she was OK first. If you paid attention to the scene of me right before I pulled Danielle's hair, you see me just observing the situation outside. The camera zoomed in on my face and if it looked like I was terrified and about to throw up, it's because I was. So all of those factors led me to act on impulse. I AM NOT MAKING EXCUSES FOR MYSELF. I am simply telling it like it is. Do I hate Danielle? YES. Is that the sole reason that I felt like pulling her hair? NO. Like I said, I blacked out from the adrenaline. I was acting on impulse. I don't just go around pulling the hair of people that I don't like. If I did that, I would be in jail by now.

Danielle is the first person to ever make me get to this point. I have never had such rage and anger inside of me. She is the first person to really make me boil over. Was I wrong by pulling her hair? ABSOLUTELY. Did I have good intentions behind my actions? YES, I was defending my mother. Danielle is very calculated, and she has a way of bringing out THE ABSOLUTE WORST in people. Was it all Danielle that night? Of course not, at the end of the night, it was MY decision to lay a hand on her. I acted without thinking. I paid my dues, and I learned my lesson. I'm allowed to still not like Danielle, and TRUST ME I have my reasons. However, that does not mean I didn't learn a lesson. At the end of the day I let myself get to that point, and I now know that it is NEVER OK to lay a hand on another human being. Maybe I should take some anger management classes? Hmm...

Right after the tug, I had a bunch of people coming up to me asking what I did, and at this point I was STILL mid-anxiety attack, surrounded by chaos. I wasn't "bragging" that I pulled her hair, I was simply just answering my friends' questions, and I was still angry and flustered. I was saying to my friends that I pulled Danielle's hair out of her head, because I did pull it, I know I loosened it. HOWEVER, I DID NOT PULL A CLUMP OR "CLUMPS" OUT OF HER HAIR, as she reported to the police. Don't you think that I would have had at least SOME of that hair in my possession? If I pulled out that much of her hair, why would she have it and not me? Also, who else finds it weird that she saved her nasty hair? Ew. My mom came outside shortly after and told me to go back inside. I did as she said, but when I came back outside I saw my mom down by Danielle's car, so I went to see if she was OK and I hugged her. She was REALLY mad at me and started yelling at me to go home, and was calling me a child, etc. I got REALLY upset because I had just had an anxiety attack thinking that Danielle had hit my mom. At the time I believed I was defending my mom. So it just hurt that she was yelling at me, which is what prompted the comments I made to my mother. Did my mom have reason to be mad at me? Of course. However, I think she still should have seen where I was coming from that night.

Do I think that Danielle wanted what happened that night to happen? ABSOLUTELY. Like my Aunt Caroline said, she got exactly what she wanted. She wanted to show everyone 'SEE THOSE MEAN GIRLS?! LOOK! I TOLD YOU.' She even said to Kim G. in the car three times, "I told you this was going to happen." Why Danielle? Did you go there with ill-intentions? Danielle said a million times that she wanted to leave, and she wanted someone to get her out of there. Well, who was stopping her?

And the Academy Award goes to ... (not). I didn't buy Danielle's fake tears for a second. Notice how Danielle was oh so upset and "crying" so hard, but when Kim G. went to go talk to my mom, notice how Danielle's tone totally changed as she said to Harry, "Don't let Kim hit her." Hmm, why is that Danielle? Maybe because if Kim hit my mom, then you wouldn't have really been able to build much of a case? Hmm *cough*calculated move*cough*. I'd also like to point out the part where Danielle called MY mother a "skanky ho." REALLY?! Ha! I hope that was a joke. Seriously, who does she think she is?! Whatever.

When I went to say goodbye to Teresa and 'the Kims' you could clearly see that I was still upset. When I responded to Kim G. saying, "GOOD, love and light," (about Danielle's hair being in pieces) notice my face and listen to the tone of my voice. I didn't literally mean good, like WOO HOO! You could tell that I was just fed up with everything and everyone at that point. I was just sooo done. Even when I was talking to the cops I couldn't believe what was happening. I should have expected that the cops would get involved, but I guess that's what happens when you ACT before you THINK. I also would like to state that I was honest with the police from the beginning, but there were many lies on the police report from Danielle. Just sayin'.

Danielle said that we're on a mission to get her or something. No hunnie. IF ANYONE has been on a mission, it has been Danielle trying screw with our lives. FAIL. She's a miserable woman. Her reasoning behind press charges is ridiculous. "Bad behavior needs consequences." Yeah, I guess SHE would know. Her whole conversation with Danny, I mean really? Danny would be back in jail? What a great guy. You know Danielle, if you would like to "stay in the positive," you might want to start by hanging around the right people. OH and another thing, stop talking about how we dug up your past. We didn't dig it up, it came to us, and you know damn well that it's things that you HAVE DONE/ARE DOING to us in the present. Seriously? Will you EVER change? Danielle is living in a make-believe world in her head. It's actually really sad. Danielle, you said an apology is in order? Yeah, we know, we're waiting.

Danielle's conversation with Kim made me laugh. I could comment a lot on this, but I'll try to keep it short, this blog is long enough. Bottom line is that Danielle is full of shit.

I laughed so hard at the scene of my mom playing games on her phone while Danielle's "spiritual advisor" tried to help. I think my mom is such a ham. I love her so much! Haha! Nerd.

The episode ended with me fighting with my parents. Obviously I was still upset about everything that went down. I was still feeling hurt that my mom didn't even take into consideration that I thought that I was defending her. She didn't even see where I was coming from that night. I was frustrated. When I said, "I can do whatever I want to Danielle," I didn't mean it that way. What I meant was that if I make the decision to do something, I'll do it, but that doesn’t make allowed, or legal, or the right thing to do. I was just trying to say that I'm old enough to make my own choices. It just came out wrong. I totally see where my parents were coming from of course. They clearly stated that they didn't condone my behavior that night. I wasn't expecting them to support my actions, I just wanted them to understand what I was feeling. I know that I handled myself badly AGAIN, and I know that I was disrespectful to my parents AGAIN, but keep in mind this was filmed months ago, and since then I have grown a lot, and I'm still growing. I'm only 19, I have time to correct my flaws. I am not proud of this episode at all. I am not happy with the way I looked at all. I have definitely learned a lesson from all of this. You learn and grow with each choice you make. I have a headache from all of the drama, I just want the chaos to stop. Just sayin'.

To quote Andy Warhol, "In the future, everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes." To quote Drake, "My fifteen minutes started an hour ago." Haha! So, while I have the opportunity to reach the public I just want to bring attention to a few organizations that I love, mainly, (if you haven't checked it out already) the organization, 'To Write Love On Her Arms.' It really is such a great cause and the staff members are so kind. I'm planning to have a benefit for them as soon as possible. I think I'll aim for sometime in fall, we'll see! Stay on top of my updates about that, or just about my every day life on my Facebook or Twitter (@_ashleyholmes). I love you all sooo much! Your support through all of this has been so overwhelming and much appreciated! As for the haters, keep on hatin' if it makes YOU happy!

Until next time,
xoxo Ashley
