Jay Catches Up With Gretchen

More than dinner was served when Gretchen Rossi got together for a meal with her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars last Saturday night.

As soon as Rossi arrived at the party she was served - with a lawsuit, RadarOnline.com learned exclusively.

The suit was filed by her ex boyfriend Jay Photoglou and a source familiar with the situation said Rossi's attorneys refused to accept service, leading Jay to have Gretchen served publicly.

It happened at the home of Peggy Tanous, the new Orange County cast member. Stars from Bravo's reality series got together at Tanous' home for a dinner, that was taped by the network.

"Gretchen pulled up in her car and as soon as she got out she was served with the legal papers," a source told RadarOnline.com. "She turned away and acted as if she was going to try to avoid being served. But there were two people there to serve her and she had no choice. She finally just accepted service."

Photoglou is suing Rossi for libel, slander and five other counts. The suit was originally filed in Los Angeles but for procedural reasons he needed to re-file it in Orange County.

RadarOnline.com was first to reveal that Peggy Tanous was joining the OC cast. And while Bravo taped the "get acquainted" dinner at her house Saturday night, Rossi being served was not captured on video.

Rossi also has an active lawsuit against Photoglou.

Rossi has at times denied she was romantically involved with Photoglou but he has provided ample proof of their former romantic relationship. Now, their only relationship exists in court, where they have battled continuously for the past year - and it doesn't look like the war is going to end any time soon.

"They've spent a fortune suing each other," one source told RadarOnline.com. "But the money doesn't seem to matter. They each want to stomp the other one."

Whoa...some dramz over in my ol' stomping grounds! The OC is full of cray-cray this morning!

So Gretchen Rossi leads off this story with this whole, "I'm gonna sue you just cuz" thing she's got going on with ex-whatever Jay Photoglou. Jay had to refile his libel and slander suit in OC instead of LA County, and Gretchen's been avoiding service. Gee...who might have taught her that? Surely not the houseboy...

Anyway, Jay busted into a party at new Housewife Peggy Tanous' house and served her. Owned. Please let there have been a camera on that!

I know it seems I've flipped the script a bit on Gretchen since I was in luuurrrrve with her last year, but she got bitchy with me on the Twitter over a JOKE about some houseboy of hers, and well, my Gretchen purse went to Goodwill, and I took the makeup back to the dollar store. So there. Ha. That'll learn ya. Mind your own beeswax, girl. Someone go make me a "Team Jay" T-Shirt.

In other news...

Simon "Crybaby" Barney got popped for a domestic with Tam-RA this morning. Turns out he was all butt-hurt about Tamra having a birthday party for one of their kids at her house instead of at a "neutral" location, and when they exchanged the family dog, he hit her with the leash.

Smooth move, dude. Smooth.
And good for Tamra calling the cops on his punk azz. I get the vibe from that guy that this in no way was the first scenario of being a violent tool. It was so obvious last season that he was a controlling dbag.

So there you have it. Some shenanigans on the west coast for a change! I am so hoping they got it all on film.

Peggy-RHOOC Virtual Spokesmodel

Radar has announced that the newest cast member for Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County will be 41-year-old Peggy Tanous of Irvine. Peggy is married to web entrepreneur Micah Tanous who is, according to his linkedin profile, the owner of two marketing websites w5internet and myvirtualsalesperson.

Peggy and Micah are long time friends with current RHOC cast members Jim and Alexis Bellino. At a Housewives viewing party that took place in Tustin last November Peggy commented on her gal-pal Alexis being on the show.

“We all got married at the same time,” Peggy said at the party. “Their twins were born the day after our daughter was born, in the same hospital. Alexis is real. If she doesn’t like you, she’ll let you know.” She went on to add that she was, “very excited for (Alexis) to take on this new challenge.”

Blond OC bombshell birds of a feather must stick together because sources are saying the same thing about Mrs. tenacious Tanous. She is being called “feisty,” “truthful” and that she is “blunt and always tells it like it is.”
A post from the Orange County Register provides a little more info about the latest RHOC cali-girl labeling Tanous as a model and infomercial host. After doing some sleuthing I was able to track down a video of Peggy in a clip for her husband’s previously mentioned company w5internet. In this spot she is a spokesperson for a company called Talent 6 that hires extras for movies, commercials, music videos and more.
Via her hubby’s other listed website myvirtualsalesperson.com there are additional examples of Pretty Peggy’s skill at being what the site calls a virtual spokesmodel. Just about every page for the site automatically loads up a video of “Peggy your virtual salesperson.” Via a link interested clients can browse for spokesmodels and in obedient OC husband fashion Micah has his blond wife listed first.

Through Peggy’s page there is a sample of her work for a granite counter top company called Granite For Your Home. You can check out Peggy giving her best virtual sales pitch for Granite via the link here. But, for pure entertainment value, you need to go to rocknpix.net and watch Peggy getting down and dirty with some heavy metal Rock Band electric guitar!

There is a recently launched site called simply enough, peggytanous.com, that as of this post only features one large photo image of what I would assume is her family. The photo has Peggy, Micah and two adorable baby girls all decked out in pink and smiles.

Another blond with what looks like some questionably artificial Angelina Jolie wannabe lips that is blunt and feisty. Looks like Bravo has found a pattern of success and is sticking to it. It’s hard to argue with the results.

Peggy Tanous Is Joining The RHOOC

The Real Housewives of Orange County” has just added a new cast member for season 6, celebrity gossip website Radaronline.com is reporting.

Peggy Tanous of Irvine has signed a deal with producers of the Bravo reality TV series, Radaronline.com states. The blond, 41-year-old mom, model and infomercial host will join a cast that already comprises four blondes — Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino.

Peggy is married to Micah Tanous, 37, also of Irvine. They have a daughter together. He’s an Internet marketing entrepreneur. The couple are friends with Jim and Alexis Bellino, current cast members of the show. They’ve known the Bellinos for 15 years, and attended a “Housewives” viewing party at the Winery restaurant in Tustin last November.

“We all got married at the same time,” Peggy said at the party. “Their twins were born the day after our daughter was born, in the same hospital. Alexis is real. If she doesn’t like you, she’ll let you know.”

At the time, Peggy commented that she was “very excited for (Alexis) to take on this new challenge.” Her husband Micah said he was glad someone from Newport Coast was “representing the real Orange County.”

“Coto de Caza is not the real Orange County,” he remarked. “Newport Coast is the real Orange County.” When the show premiered in 2006, it focused primarily on women living in the gated community of Coto de Caza. It has since expanded to other Orange County cities, but maintains a focus on the well-to-do lifestyles in the southern half of the county.

Peggy said at last year’s event that she and her husband actually were asked to be on the show. “We felt it wasn’t something for us,” she said. Apparently, she has changed her mind.

Radaronline describes Peggy as “feisty” and an “attractive blonde.” The site says the couple have already filmed some scenes for season 6. Radaronline also reports that the Tanouses have already appeared in previous episodes of the popular reality TV series, but I can’t recall seeing them before on “Real Housewives of O.C.,” and I (unfortunately?) have seen every single episode.

At this juncture, it’s unknown whether Lynne Curtin of Aliso Viejo will return for season 6. Simon Barney, who filed for divorce from Tamra and expressed displeasure with being on the show, is not expected to return. However, Eddie Judge, Tamra’s new boyfriend, is expected to make some onscreen appearances.

Incidentally, Micah Tanous has a talent for performing perplexing, mind-boggling card tricks. One of them even involves burning the unknown card symbol (3 of hearts, for instance) onto his fingertips with a lighter.

We’ll see if he does that trick on season 6 of “Housewives,” which is expected to premiere in January.
