Danielle Has A Few Words For Naomi

Article from the Examiner.com.

By:Diane Marsalis
Danielle Staub loves the drama, and now she's stirring up trouble with celebrities who are not even involved in The Real Housewives of New Jersey, by firing back at feisty supermodel Naomi Campbell for defending Teresa Giudice.
Campbell called in to defend Giudice on last week's Bravo show Watch What Happens: Live, saying that Staub got what she deserved from Teresa during The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion show. "Well, I understood. She didn't see you at that moment. You mess with her family and that's what you get!"

Photo: Bravo
Although Staub thinks that Giudice and Campbell are a little alike, "Isn't that somebody that's physically attacked and abused other, let's see... women? Yeah, so her and Teresa do have a lot in common."

The supermodel has been convicted of throwing a cell phone at her maid in 2007 and assaulting two police officers just a year later. She was ordered to take anger management classes and complete community service for her inappropriate behavior.
Staub still claims she never "[messed] with [Teresa's] family..." that she only "stated the truth!"

Danielle continues to bring on the drama by making a direct statement to Naomi in the media. "Naomi, pay attention, please! I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Teresa. Pay attention before you make comments in stupidity."

The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star (Staub was fired from the show) make think she's fooling us, but we know what she's really like. Will the former supermodel retaliate in the media? What would you like to say to Danielle? Scroll down and post your comments below.

Caroline Rules
Is It Ever Okay to Keep Secrets From Your Spouse?

Caroline Manzo puts the real in The Real Housewives of New Jersey and her fans relate to the reality star's no-nonsense attitude, focus on family and, above all, abundant common sense. Check back at Glo every Monday as Caroline helps solve your most pressing dilemmas.

The Dilemma: One topic that comes up quite often in relationships is the idea of keeping secrets from your partner. We hear that “maintaining the mystery” in one's relationship is an important part of keeping that elusive spark alive, and this makes us wonder if there are situations in which not divulging information is the right thing to do. Should you ever keep a secret in order to protect your husband's feelings (especially if the information isn't something he needs to know), such as harmless flirtation from a male co-worker? Or you should just tell your spouse everything, no question?

Caroline's Ruling: If I were a betting woman, I'd be willing to bet that the pendulum of public opinion would swing wildly on this one!
I, for one, believe that a little secret here and there never hurt anybody. The operative word here is little. For example, I agree with the above point of keeping secrets to protect your husband's feelings. If someone in the workforce expresses interest in you, there's no reason to cause a commotion at home. However, if the advances are inappropriate, or cause you to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, then I would bring it up with my employer first, and, if there was still uncertainty, I would tell my significant other. At that point it would be a situation affecting you as a couple, first and foremost your safety and second finances. You may have to leave your job, which causes a domino effect on your income and budgeting concerns.

Here's another example of secret keeping: Say your partner asks, "Did you make the appointment to get the car serviced?" Whether you did or not, say "yes." Then get your butt over to the phone and make that appointment! Why argue over it? Just flash your prettiest smile and get it done!

All kidding aside, there are things that you should never keep from your spouse, like credit issues or financial problems. If you are overwhelmed with debt, the hole is only going to get deeper. Hiding it will only cause serious damage to your credit, and quite possibly affect the security of your home and business. The same holds true for health issues.

Anything with a long term, life-changing effect should be discussed, not hidden, especially because you may need your partner's emotional support to get through it. Hiding it will only cause undue stress to you, and confusion from your partner if there is a sudden attitude change from you (if you become depressed, angry, etc.).

So, do you get what I'm saying? A parking ticket? Forgot to schedule an appointment? You overheard an in-law talking smack? You hate his favorite shirt? No big deal. You're overwhelmed with debt? You have a serious illness? You're in a dangerous situation? You're unhappy in your relationship? Big deal.

The bottom line is this: Relationships are built on mutual respect and trust. If the decisions you make affect any of these two things, rethink them. The consequences of your actions could put a crack in the foundation of your relationship ... not good!

Ramona Loves The Professional But Sexy Edge Of Rebecca's Designs

Article from OK! Magazine.

Author: Brittany Talarico
Can’t make it to NYC for Fashion Week? Don’t worry, OK!’s got you covered! Today we hung out at the Rebecca Taylor runway show for a sneak peek at the designer’s spring collection and loved every minute!

SHOW: Rebecca Taylor

WHEN: Sept. 12, 2010

WHO: Carmen Electra, Jenna Ushkowitz, Shenae Grimes, Michelle Trachtenberg, Loise Roe, Nicola Peltz and Ramona Singer

FASHION: In true Rebecca Taylor fashion, the dresses that hit the catwalk were the WOW factor of her collection. Long, shear skirts paired with structured trench coats created a juxtaposition, combining soft femininity with a more tailored and structured feel. The color palette for the collection ranged from pale pinks and greys to bright blues and olive greens. “I started with a 1970s Charlie girl,” Rebecca told OK! backstage before the show. “I managed to do femininity in such a sensual, sexy way.” A number of gorgeous tiered, maxi dresses ended the show. Silk and cotton were the main materials used to create the flirty, feminine line.

BEAUTY: Models looked ephemeral, like whimsical fairies gliding down the catwalk. Hair was swept up in loose buns, and the models sported a neutral cheek and lips. The emphasis was placed on a soft, brick red based smoky eye.

COLOR/OVERHEAD: Rebecca’ certainly has a strong Hollywood fan base, but the modest designer loves to create beautiful, wearable clothes for all women.

Her proud family, including her two young daughters, sat right in the front row cheering her on as the beautiful looks hit the catwalk.

Rebecca dressed casual for the event, but was sure to add a little bit of shine do her look.
“I always like to wear some sparkle no matter where,” the designer, who donned midnight blue sparkling oxford shoes, told OK! of her style mantra. “I think you need to always find the sparkle in the everyday.”
Jenna Ushkowitz ouldn’t have been happier with her seat in the front row, and the show marked Jenna’s first time ever at Fashion Week!
“It’s just so dainty and sweet,” Jenna who wore one of Rebecca’s frocks told OK!. “It’s so girly and lovely and you just feel great in it. And it’s comfy too.”

Jenna added a beaded and sequin headband to her look.
“I’m trying to bring the head bands back,” she said.
Michelle Trachtenberg and Shenae Grimes are regulars at Rebecca’s show and the duo happily chatted with one another before the show began.
The City star Louise Roe accessorized her black Rebecca Taylor one shoulder mini with a brown belt and had from Top Shop.

“I think she celebrates curves. Her dresses are very friendly to a coke bottle-esque silhouette, also bright colors frills, feminine and elegant but still sexy,” Louise told OK!. “A lot of designers are androgynous or very edgy and quite hard to wear, but with Rebecca’s stuff every women can wear something from her collection and feel sexy in it.”

Real Housewife of NYC Ramona Singer sported a leopard sweater by Rebecca that actually belonged to her daughter.

“I love her dressed for work because they look professional but have a sexy edge,” Ramona told OK!.

Mary Amons Backstage At Lela Rose Show

Post from Pillow Talk Japan.

Backstage at Lela Rose for the Spring/Summer 2011 collections was a sea of glamor. Celebrity hairstylist, and my good friend, Ted Gibson, created a messy side braid with volume and texture. “The inspiration is Peru.”, explained Gibson, who styled Christina Ricci’s hair the evening before among other top celebrities for Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. Gibson set the style with his innovative multi-purpose product, Build It Blow Drying Spray. Gibson’s team also styled Real Housewives of DC star and Labels For Love founder, Mary Amons, backstage at the Lela Rose show.

Key Makeup Artist for Stila Cosmetics, Sarah Lucero, created a current Hollywood glamor look with velvet matte skin, neutral shading around eyes and cheeks for structure, and finished it off with a vibrant coral-red lip that popped off the runway.

The nails were perfected by Deborah Lippmann and her opaque-matte, pink-coral shade Pretty Young Thing polish.

RHODC At Fashion's Night Out In Georgetown

Article from the Washington Examiner.

By: Katy Adams and Nikki Schwab
"The Real Housewives of D.C." cast members Mary Amons and Lynda Erkiletian strutted their fashionable selves down the red carpet at Fashion's Night Out private event at Roche Salon in Georgetown Friday night.

The ladies and sixth "housewife" Paul Wharton came out to support the D.C, fashion scene and served as co-hosts for the evening along with WUSA 9's (very pregnant, but beautiful) Angie Goff, Project Beltway's Rachel Cothran, CityShopGirl's Kelly Collis and Urban Daddy's Jeff Dufour.
VIP guests sipped on champagne, snacked on hors d'oeuvres and posed for photos with Lady Gaga posers and Cirque du Soleil dancers. After thanking the crowd for coming, Amons dished to Yeas & Nays about what she's been up to.

"I just got back from L.A., and I'm going to be on 'Access Hollywood,' E! News and there's a big feature on me and my charity and part of the show in the L.A. Times coming this week in the entertainment section," she said.
Amons started her nonprofit Labels for Love, which benefits women and children, in 2006. She tells us the reason she got involved in reality television was to bring attention to the charity, and it seems her decision has paid off.

"We're tracking the traffic to our Web site, and since the show was announced we have 400,000 hits."

Amons will host her own fundraiser, the District Sample Sale, on Thursday, where she will be collaborating with Fran Drescher's group, Cancer Schmancer.

Amons declined to gossip about what's going on in the "Housewives" world but she did allude to the fact that she will not play a role in any new drama.

"It's all going to unfold but I think I'm out of the woods with drama, with the real drama," she said.

Danielle Has Two Projects She Is Working On

Post from Hollywood Life.

Laura Schreffler & Nicole Fukuoka
Danielle has left The Real Housewives of New Jersey drama behind — and is about to create some new drama with her family, friends and…lesbian lovers?

Photo: WENN
Danielle Staub’s love life has always been a thing of speculation, and now that she’s left her Bravo reality show behind, she’s may be ready to air out her closet! The 48-year-old divorced mom of two tells us the question of her sexuality is going to be answered on her new show!

“I’m doing two projects – my spinoff and my real show,” the former Real Housewives of New Jersey star told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at MTV VMA’s Remembering 9/11 gifting suite in Beverly Hills, Calif. Sept. 10. “It’s about me and my kids and my questionable sexuality, my music, my daughter’s music, my assistants, my executive assistants, my assistant’s assistants, the interns, some flipping out scenes, some resolution scenes.”

Er, that explains alot…NOT. But one thing IS for sure — Danielle, who swears up and down she wasn’t fired by Bravo, still plans on being a reality villain! “I’m still the villain of reality television, so I’m going to keep it real,” she told us. “The real me – red carpets, charity, everything I do in 24 hours – is what you’ll see. I only sleep for two of them!”

Danielle also responds to rumors that she was fired from RHONJ and warns her fans that not everything you see on reality TV is, well, REAL. “I want [all my fans] to just pay attention, please, because in time you will all see the real me! I’m doing this for my family, my fans and my friends – everybody else is either going to love me or hate me. I don’t want to change anyone’s mind, I want them to form their own opinions. I don’t need everyone to love me, I don’t. I don’t care, as long as they’re still paying attention.”

Kelly Blogs About NY Fashion Week

From PAPERMAG.

Red Hot: La Roux's Eleanor Jackson On Love, Death and Hair Kelly Bensimon's Fashion Week Diary Part 1: The Fashion and TV Worlds Should Hang Out More
By Kelly Bensimon

[Kelly Bensimon, whom you might know from a little television show called The Real Housewives of New York, is a model, writer, party circuit fixture and general lady-about-town. Who better, then, to cover the goings on in NYC during Fashion Week for PAPERMAG? Here, Kelly tells us how her Fashion Week kicked off and shares her ideas about how the television and fashion world can help each other out]
Gold bar hosted a party for me Thursday night to celebrate the kick off of Spring 11 Fashion Week, and for my new role as guest blogger for papermag.com. Rob McKinley, the co-owner/designer of GoldBar and The Surf Lodge, is pictured here with me at Gold Bar. As a designer, he is responsible for many of the most buzzed-about hotspots in town. In his spare time he loves to get in the DJ booth and spin records. All of my TV producers came to see all of the fashion insiders who were there, like my jewelry designer, as well as the fashion publicists, Cosmo Radio uber talents, press reporters, and amazing personal shoppers from Intermix and Stella McCartney who stopped by.

It's not just the designers that make the fashion wheel turn. If personal shoppers don't like items, they don't sell. If press doesn't speak well of trends, they don't sell. It was fun to watch the TV peeps observe how the fashion peeps navigate. Little do the TV peeps know that one look and 2.4 million viewers makes a huge impact for designers. Maybe TV and fashion should have a beer and discuss the possibilities. Just a thought.

Kelly And Bill Training For The Hamptons Classic Horse Show

Michaele Owes Her Doctor

Post from TMZ.

Suspected White House Crasher Michaele Salahi may need to save more face than Botox can handle -- because the "Housewives" star is being sued for allegedly stiffing her plastic surgeon.

Photo: Andrew Thayer
The man behind the lawsuit is Dr. Navin Singh -- from Ivy Plastic Surgery in Maryland -- who tells TMZ, he performed several "procedures" on Salahi last April -- but Michaele never paid the bill in full.

According to the suit, filed in federal court in Virginia, Salahi still owes a cool $500 for unnamed procedures.

Dr. Singh wouldn't confirm the nature of the procedures -- but according to sources connected to the lawsuit, it's all over unpaid Botox injections ... which we're told Salahi had requested for a fundraising event a few days later.

A rep for Salahi -- who has been ordered to face the charges in a Virginia court on September 17 -- tells us, the DC housewife did in fact see the good doc in question ... but as far as she's concerned, the bill was settled.

Danielle Has Moved

Post from E! Online.

By: Marc Malkin
Danielle Staub has left the building.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star tells me she's moved out of the house and town where she and her daughters lived while filming the Garden State reality show...

Photo: WENN
"I'm in New Jersey right on the water but I live probably about 40 minutes away from them," she said, referring to her Housewives enemies costars. "It was two days after the reunion. I got up and I left.

"My view is of Manhattan," she added. "I go to sleep and wake up to Manhattan every day."
And while she doesn't exactly say it, it sounds like she may be waking up to Lesbian Superstar Lori Michaels every day, too. "We're together every day, all day," Staub said. "Her whole family is now an extension of my whole family. Her family is with my kids right now...So we're close."

Staub declines to call Michaels her girlfriend, but smiled, "Even Helen Keller can see from our pictures what we are."

Could a wedding be in their future? "I don't know if I want to get remarried right now, but eventually," she said. (FYI: Gay marriage is legal in N.J.)

The two met a couple of years ago during a gay pride event. The rest of their story, Staub hopes, will be told in a new reality show she is currently pitching to networks.

Nothin' says love like a reality show.

I've got more Danielle for ya. Make sure to keep coming back here for all the Jersey scoop.
